Will 40 on the Green break the Instant Match Jackpot?
(flip)
HE GOT IT!!!!!!!
(Wild cheers & applause)
Our first Instant Match Jackpot win of this new season, and it was on a tie-breaker board at that! Congratulations John, another $1,150 into your coffers, the lead in the match...
The Instant Match Jackpot is now reset to $750, and John, for winning game one of this best two out of three match, you now get to play for yet more bonus cash, up to $1,500 playing our new mini-bonus...
Top Dollar. We start this jackpot at $1,500 and it grows by $300 per day it is not won.
We use only one column in this game.
In one of these four boxes is the "TOP DOLLAR" card. If you select it on your first pick, you'll of course win another $1,500.
In two of these boxes is an angry looking lit match. If you select one of those, the game is over and you win nothing.
But in one of these boxes is a guarantee card. If you pick IT first, you can take $500 guaranteed and quit, or you can gamble it for a 1 in 3 chance at the Top Dollar card.
So John, pick a box that looks luckiest to you, good luck as you try for yet another $1,500 in instant cash.

(applause) In the summer of 1974, this program was replaced with a short lived game called "Winning Streak", and right now our current champion John Bergman is indeed on a winning streak here. Let's see if Kourtney can begin one of his own as we are now ready to embark on game two in our best two out of three match, and we have another prize available for our contestants to win. The first contestant to make a match in 5 picks or less during this game will "walk" away with this prize (chuckling), Frank? Frank Caliendo (as Don Pardo): It's a new treadmill... Indeed, the Hills are alive with a correct answer. (applause) $50 and 50 points, giving you 190 John... And John of course didn't want to risk Kourtney winning a 60 point puzzle and taking control of the matching board, so a lot more strategy involved now with this new point system. I personally so far am loving it, and I want to give a quick shout out to Doug Morris who helped provide me with the inspiration to incorporate this! (many cheers & applause)... Onward we go... There she is in all her colorful glory, the big board. Kourtney is hoping of course that you are unable to achieve three on a match, which would award him the board. Make a match in 5 picks or less, and the treadmill is yours John. Make an instant match and you'll win the treadmill plus another $750 in cash. Also remember the "ONE FREE BOX" card is hidden up there, but only during your first three picks. Finding that could prove invaluable. Which box first this time champ?

As it has been over 48 hours since his last reply, I'll ask if somebody would like to temporarily proxy for John until he is able to return.
