OK, here's the question, and remember, it's in two parts. You have to get both of them right to win $2,000 and the right to discard 2 cards from your hand and force your opponents to add 2 cards to their hands. If not, you will add 4 cards to your hand.
However, I will give you 4 extra hours to think about it, so by 7:15 PM, I need your answers. Here we go.
In the TV series "Law and Order", the late Adam Schiff played Steven Hill from 1990 to 2000 and was one of the original characters when the series began. I have two quotes from him from 2 various episodes, and it's up to you to fill in the blanks.
1. Adam: "Great--a prosecution based on debt-refinancing. It's gonna get you real far with a jury." Ben: "I'll lay it out for them--I'll draw 'em a Monopoly board if I have to." Adam: "I'd like to see them get from _____ to GO."
2. "Last time I checked, ____ was a small town upstate... different zip code from the criminal courts building."
Here's 4 extra hours of thinking time.

OK, Nels. Your extra time is up. And now, I need your answers, and you got 12 hours to answer. First, fill in the blank on this.
1. Adam: "Great--a prosecution based on debt-refinancing. It's gonna get you real far with a jury." Ben: "I'll lay it out for them--I'll draw 'em a Monopoly board if I have to." Adam: "I'd like to see them get from _____ to GO."

Park Place is correct as this is from the episode entitled "The Serpent's Tooth." It really shows Adam's cynicism, the source of many of his memorable lines.
To get this right, here's Part 2.
2. "Last time I checked, ____ was a small town upstate... different zip code from the criminal courts building."

Utopia

Post by dad90 on Jul 31, 2019 8:26:14 GMT -5
Utopia is correct for $2000! (Cheers and Applause)"Utopia" is the name Thomas More gave to the ideal society he created in his book of the same name. It literally means "Nowhere." So Nels, that puts you right back in the game as you will get to discard 2 cards from your hand and put them in the bottom of the deck, while William and Matthew will each get 2 additional cards from the top of the deck each. WILLIAM: 9 NELS: 5 MATTHEW: 9[1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [UNO] [8] [9] [10] [11] [12] Now, from this point this on, the rest are numbers and we'll multiply that times $100. Nels, pick another number.

What do we have behind #4? [1] [2] [3] [7] [5] [6] [UNO] [8] [9] [10] [11] [12] It's a 7, which means that this question's worth $700, and it's available for everyone. So hands on your buzzers, because here are the choices and the question. "Far and Away" "Days of Thunder" "Top Gun" "Eyes Wide Shut"In which movie did Tom Cruise first co-star with Nicole Kidman?William: 22 Nels: 55 Matthew: 46 Magic #: 78 (Buzz-In!)And Nels buzzes in! There you go! A Lousy Prom Date is correct! A Perky Cheerleader A Lousy Prom Date A Kinky Teacher A Much-Maligned Milk Monitor(Audience Applause)Now, here's what happened: In the first question, we all know that Nels discarded 2 cards while William and Matthew each got 2 additional cards, and then in the second question, Nels gave 2 cards to Matthew, therefore getting 1 card for himself, and finally on the third question, Nels only discarded 2 cards, which means that we now have 80 cards left in the deck, and the card total for each player reads as follows: CARDS TOTAL:
WILLIAM: 9 NELS: 2 MATTHEW: 11Now Matthew, since you've answered the last question correctly, would you like to go first by picking the top card from the deck, or would you like William to go first?
