And yes, we are here in the 2nd half of Uno, and this is Round 3, players. It's our Strategy/Elimination Round where one of you will be eliminated by the end of this round. However, we have added 12 more Action Cards in the deck, for a total of 102 cards, which have all been shuffled and cut during the break. Each of you have been distributed 7 cards by Ian, Lasercorn and Sohinki in this round. Now, since this round is pretty important.... I'm Doubling the points! (Audience Cheers)SCORING:0-9 = 0-18 Points Skip = 40 Points Reverse = 40 Points Draw +2 = 40 Points Wild / Wild Draw Four = 100 Points PRIZES:0-9 = $0-$900 Cash Skip, Reverse, Draw +2 = PRIZE Wild / Wild Draw Four = LUXURY PRIZE/TRIP So now, numbered cards are worth 0 to 18 points, while Action Cards are worth 40 Points, and Wild cards are worth a big 100 points. However, in the case that time runs out in this round, the player who has the least amount of cards in their hand will be awarded 250 points, and then we'll do the adjusting based on the hands that they got. Also, you may now notice that the Wild Cards now offer a Luxury Trip from this point on in the game, so if you have a Wild card, play it as soon as possible, but be careful if you have the Wild Draw Four card. Now, in order to avoid Elimination, you cannot be the player with the least amount of points OR the player with the least amount of money if tied in point total. If you don't do that, then you're safe and you're through to the Final Round. If you do that however, and you will be eliminated. Now let's proceed to the Strategy Headstart part of the round, where there is now more strategy to play with during the Q&A portion. If you answer a question correctly this time, you will then have a decision to make. You can either play the Discard option, which is, as always, discard 2 cards from your hand and put them in the bottom in the deck, or you can play the Give and Take option, which is to give away 2 cards from your hand and to one of your opponents, making their hand a little bit worse, and then take 1 card from the top of the deck and add it to your own hand. Of course, if you get a question wrong, you have to automatically add 1 card from the top of the deck to your hand. And one more thing... [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] [8] [9] [10] [11] [12] Our Question Card Board has shuffled up 12 new cards and hidden behind those 12 numbers, but this time, they are higher. (Cheers and Applause)Well, this is the regular WILD card, but you already saw how this works earlier in the show, but in this round, we're turning up the heat, and here's how... Nels, since you've picked the WILD card, this question is all yours and yours alone. You first have a decision to make. I will show you two categories to choose from in a moment and this question will not be multiple choice. Before you get to hear the question, you will have decide on whether you want to wager up to $1000 in cash and discard 2 cards from your hand or trade one of your cards for this WILD card... ...OR.... play the Double Down option, which you will wager $2000 automatically, and a chance for you to discard 2 cards from your hand AND force your opponents to add 2 cards to their hand. BUT! This question will be a 2-part question, and you have to answer BOTH parts of the question to get it right, or else, you will be forced to add 4 cards to your hand. With that said, here are the two categories to choose from.
