All,
I am writing from work right now but can't stay on very long.
Due to severe strong storms last evening, I, along with 638 other customers, and actually many more I believe, are without electrical power. The current estimate to get our power back isn't until 11PM (at night) EST TOMORROW, July 24th, so I ask you all to bear with me until power is restored.

For a Jackpt match win?  YES!!!!!! (Win cue)  That's $2,000 more for you John! Congratulations! Incidentally, I erred, the Instant Match Jackpot never applies to the Jackpot Match game. Also, since the Jackpot was won, it will be worth $2,000 again on tomorrow's show. The $150 up on the board is good news for the audience, as we will be splitting that money among you all. (applause). With 300 audience members, that works out to about 50 cents a head....heads or tails (chuckling)...but since audience members remain for 5 shows, they could wind up with a bit more perhaps. Frank Sartori is taking home at least $1,050 in cash while his opponent John Bergman is already $3,125 to the good, and each of our audience members has won two bits thus far. This is our 750 point round, and it's going to be another back and forth bidding, no questions this time. The winner of this board will take the match and go on to play for up to $50,000 plus a chance at that Kia Sportage.  Frank, since John won the last round, we will start the bidding with you. You can bid as many as 7 picks or as few as 3 picks. If you bid higher than 3 picks, John will then have the option to bid lower or challenge you to make a match at the big board. Bidding will volley back and forth until either one player bids 3 picks, or if one player challenges the other. What is your opening bid for this, the deciding board Frank? |
