I've heard of turning over a new leaf... Let's see what happens now with Leaf... 5 picks remaining, 1 Rudolph showing and one Turn Over card out of the way as well. Where to next Leaf?

30 on the Green... (flip) Another red-nosed wonder.... 40 Blue, for a match... (flip) Jolly Old St. Nicholas there. I know you chose 20 Red next. Do you still want to stick with that Leaf, or try to find the other Rudolph in the 40 column?

40 on the Yellow... (flip) Now, since 20 on the Blue would not help, I'll allow you to re-select on your last pick here Leaf. A couple of ways to play this...

20 Green..?

(audience groans knowing there won't be a match...) 20 on the green... (flip) Santa. You see, with that being your last pick, you probably should have instead selected a box from one of the other 2 columns, that way you might have matched either the 3rd reindeer or snowman. That's why the audience was moaning there I'm afraid, but fear not... The scores remain unchanged for now. Moving into our final Question Round, but again no questions as this is our holiday special... And this time the HIGH number wins, Matt that is you! Please select 2 letters from the MATCH board.

And for you that is... $300 PLUS a Replay opportunity! (applause) First things first though. Matt you must make a match in order to get to replay. Also, you must not hit a Turn Over card! Please select your first 2 boxes in the order in which you would like for us to reveal them Matt.

20 on the Green... (flip) Pipers piping. 40 on the Yellow next... (flip) There we have 5 golden rings. I'll spare you all from my singing it. Where to next Matt?

And here comes 30 on the Red... (flip) Very nice. Matt if you can find one more group of pipers on this next pick, you'll score at least $1,000, possibly $2,000, and more importantly, you'll get to play another board. Look it over carefully, and give me your next pick please, and good luck.

40 on the Blue for a match... (flip) (audience screams) Oh no! This of course means your turn is over Matt, and you must turn control of the board over to either Michael or Leaf. To whom do you relinquish control?

Control of the board is yours for the moment Leaf. Three picks you have at your disposal, unless you should hit a Turn Over card. Remember there is one in one of the remaining 2 columns, and a No Match card in the other. Which box do you select Leaf?

Hope all is well with you Leaf.
If Leaf does not surface by this afternoon, I will request for one of you "watching" this episode to pinch hit for him.

It would appear that we'll need someone to replace Leaf. I hope he is alright. If nobody expresses interest in replacing Leaf by noon EST today January 7th 2015, the rest of the match will have to be forfeited, and Michael declared today's winner.
If that is the case Matt, this will not count as one loss against you.
Thank you,
Bill

Bill, I really do hope that everything is okay with Leaf. I've been friends with him for a couple of years now, so I'll try and get in contact with him on Facebook to see what's going on although I'm sure he's fine. But in the meantime, I'm going to do him a favor and sub for him in this match and I will select 30 blue

I thank you very kindly Mark both for taking time to reach out to make sure Leaf is alright and for you to pinch hit for him during his absence!
I will update the board to reflect your pick later this afternoon, as I'm on a break right now at the office, and do not have access to my boards.

Leaf's proxy for the remainder of this game will be Mark. Appreciate you very much pinch-hitting for Leaf Mark! 30 on the Blue you selected I believe... (flip) 5 Golden Rings. There is another set of 5 Golden Rings somewhere in the 20 column, and there are pipers piping in the 40 column somewhere. With that information Mark, which box do you select next please?

Let's try 20 red

20 on the Red... (flip) And there's a match! (applause) That will add $625 to Leaf's score, giving him $725. The only way Leaf can remain alive in the game now is if the 5 Golden Rings was the DOUBLE DOLLARS bonus. If not, it will not be possible for Leaf or Matt to catch Michael. Let's flip the 5 Golden Rings in the 30 column....is it a DOUBLE? (flip) Sorry, it was not! And Michael Clifford is our new Three on a Match champion!!! (applause) Michael, that means your first win, and in a little while from now, a chance to play for the really big money, and possibly drive home in a brand new automobile. Matt, this was only your first loss, $800 today added to what you won on our last show, and it was a bundle, all total thus far, cash and prizes $48,175!!! (applause). And you'll be back on our next show as this was only your first defeat. Leaf, from what I understand, is unable to be here at this time. Mark, I want to thank you for pinch-hitting for him, and if you'd like to come back on the next program, I extend an invite to you, and you would have a "clean slate", no losses against you as you came in last minute for Leaf. Would you like to participate in the next episode Mark?
