Matt Ringgenberg is our returning champion.
Michael Clifford is our returning challenger with one loss.
We need one more new challenger.
There are a couple of new twists I'm adding to the game, to try to make it a bit more exciting and interesting, and a way to have all 3 players involved a little bit more.
First, as before, codes from 01-99 will be submitted. I will ask all 3 players to submit them via private message to me.
This time however, there will be a "random" element called "HI LO". If HI turns up, the player with the highest code will get first crack at the question. If LO turns up, the player with the lowest code will get first crack at the question.
Gone is the "Jackpot", instead, the player who answers the question correctly will select from the money board. The money board for the first 2 rounds will have $100, $150, $200, $250 and $500. For the last 2 rounds it will be $200, $300, $400, $500 and REPLAY. If a player selects something other than the lowest amount or the highest amount, they will have one chance to trade it in to try to do better, but they may do worse!
The matching board. As before, there will be three sets of matching items on the board. As before there will be a NO MATCH card. However now, and this is just during the question rounds, in each of the other 2 columns there will be a card that says "TURN OVER". If the player trying to make a match at the board selects either one of those cards, their turn is over, plus, they will have to turn over control of the board to one of their opponents. The contestant who selects the Turn Over gets to choose which player gets to take over. If there is no chance for a match to be made, then the Turn Over card will simply mean that the player's turn is over, and the game will proceed.
I'm keeping the $250 bonus match element during the first 2 rounds plus during the FREE PLAY Round where prizes can be won. I'm keeping the REPLAY for the last 2 boards as well as the DOUBLE YOUR DOLLARS symbol.
Who wants to be player #3 for episode #8?

Frank Caliendo (imitating Don Pardo): Matt Riggenberg, Michael Clifford, and Leaf Apollo… If your first three picks at the board all match... You will win TOP dollar! It's "Three on a Match"! And now, from the Bill Cullen Theatre at Rockefeller Center New York, here is your host, just back from skating a few laps on the rink... frostbitten Bill McDee! That's me! (knocking on the wall behind me) Ho Ho Ho everybody! 'Tis the holiday season, and I am in a very giving mood! And on our last show did we ever give! We have a returning champion who came ever so close to winning a new car, but he's not complaining, not by any stretch. Back with just ONE win and a total in cash and prizes already of $47,375, it's Matt Ringgenberg!!! (applause) Our returning challenger, who has one loss against him thus far, from New Jersey, my home state, it's Michael Clifford! (applause) And rounding out today's panel of contestants is a newcomer to our game, and I must say this name almost sounds like it would have been from a Rocky movie, please welcome Leaf Apollo! (cheers & applause) Well my friends, we have some new and exciting changes, while still sticking to the main object of our game, making matches on the big colorful matching board as fast as you possibly can. Round #1 is our "FREE PLAY" Round. This means all 3 of you will get to take a turn at the big board. During this round, each of you can win as many as 2 prizes plus $2,000 in score money. The value of the prizes won't count toward your score, but that score money does, and that's important, because the player with the highest money score at the end of the game will get to go to the Winner's Board to win a very lovely prize, and more important, go on to play the Bonus Bucks endgame, where today, hold onto your stockings, somebody could now win a new car plus....ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS in cold hard cash!!!! (wild cheers & applause) We have done away with the progressive end game jackpot, if a player makes a match in just 3 picks at the Bonus Game it's the car and FIFTY THOUSAND dollars! (applause) Of course if a player matches the 3 "DOUBLE YOUR DOLLARS" cards on their first 3 picks, which Matt almost did on yesterday's show, that doubles to $100,000!!! But I am jumping ahead a bit. Matt, you will start the proceedings. Each of you will get up to 7 picks off of the matching board. In each column there are 4 prizes. You match a prize, it's yours to keep. You want to make a match as fast as you can, because the fewer picks you require to do so, the more money you will win. Furthermore, if you make a match early enough, and you have enough picks remaining, you will get to try to match a second prize too, and double your money as well! As you can see, if you make a match in just 3 picks, you win $750. Furthermore, if any player makes an instant match like that during the game, they will automatically qualify to play for the car and the $50,000 top prize should they make it to the bonus game. Also, as if that wasn't enough already.....we have a brand new feature as well, and only the first contestant who makes an instant match will win this. It's our new Instant Match jackpot. Each day we start the Instant Match jackpot with $1,000 in cash plus a nice prize. Frank, please tell us about the first prize going into the Instant Match jackpot today please... FRANK CALIENDO (As Don Pardo) - Glad to Bill.....it's Designer Sunglasses!!! (applause) From Woodzee, 6-pairs of his and her designer sunglasses, fashionable any time of the year. Retail value, $625! (applause) Bill - So $1,625 cash & prizes today in the Instant Match jackpot. If nobody hits it today, we'll add another $500 and another prize at the top of our next show. Keep in mind players that the "NO MATCH" card is OUT of play during this round. All 4 prizes appear somewhere in each of the three columns. One last reminder, you may expose a maximum of three boxes per column only. Matt, if you are ready, please call out your first 2 boxes, and good luck!

Let's see... (flip) (more groans) I'm sorry Matt, no match that time. But lots of time still. Michael Clifford is back with us, having won $3,800 cash and prizes on our last program. Michael, from New Jersey, is a Philadelphia sports fan. The Sixers finally broke their 17 game losing streak yesterday! Let's see if you can get on a winning streak now! The prizes are reshuffled Michael. Please select your first 2 boxes, and good luck!

20 on the Blue... (flip) And that's a match for you! (applause) Took you 4 picks only so $625 for you Michael. You still have 3 picks remaining and a chance to match a second prize. Do that and you'll score another $625. After that, we'll check to see if the Snow Bike is the $500 bonus match for you too. Which box next Michael?

Cookware there, so no second match, but let's find out of the Snow Bike was the bonus match, for $500... It is! (applause) So $1,125 in score money for you Michael, a very good start for you. And now player #3, the newcomer, Leaf Apollo. Leaf, before you go to the board, I'd love to hear all about you and your very unique name especially.
