I too had a 4 letter name I was called in high school, but I don't know that I can say it on the air... Actually I can, it was "Bill" Leaf, I welcome you to "Three on a Match", the board is reshuffled once again. Good luck Leaf, and please select your first 2 boxes.

40 on the Red? (flipadeedoodah) Ah, another cookware. If you can find the 3rd cookware on this next pick Leaf, that will score for you at least $500, and you'll still have 2 more picks left to perhaps match a second prize and double your dough! Where to now Leaf?

30 on the Yellow for a horizontal win perhaps? (flip) (Gasps and groans in the audience) Well, one pick left Leaf. Trying for $250, the possibility of a $500 bonus match too. You can try for the cookware in the 20 column, or the snow bike in the 30 column. Either way, a 50/50 chance to find a match. Which box Leaf?

20 on the Red....we want cookware! (flip) (groans) Oh no! I am sorry Leaf. That's a bummer Michael, you were the only one to match a prize. Frank, tell Michael about the prize he won if you'd please... (Frank Caliendo imitating Don Pardo) Glad to Bill... Michael, from Brenter... It's the C6H Heavy Duty snowbike, a fun way to stay fit during the cold winter months. This is able to be used around town or at snowbike trails at ski resorts. Retail value, $1,800! (applause) That prize is yours Michael no matter what, but it does not affect the money score of our game. Michael has $1,125 right now. Matt and Leaf have not yet scored, but that can change in a hurry! We're going to take a quick time out, then hurry back to play more of "Three on a Match"! Stay tuned!

(applause and fade in) Delighted that you can be here with us during the holiday season. Sit back and relax and enjoy watching our players compete. I have a couple of announcements regarding today's game and future games. Firstly, as before, our players will type in secret codes ranging from 01-99 in a moment. As before, this will determine who gets to go first to the question board. The determination however will now be randomly done by our computer, which will either show "HIGH" or "LOW". If it is HIGH, the player with the highest code gets to go to the question board. If it's LOW, then the lowest player does. Questions will now be more in style with our game's name. We will show 4 answers, three of which belong together, one of them does not. These questions will be showcased during our next episode. For today only players, you do not have to answer questions! Whoever wins the "buzzcode" will automatically go to our new money board, which you see above me. The winning player will select 2 of those letters. We have hidden up there $100, $150, $200, $300 and a zero. So players can earn anywhere from $100 up to $500 to be added to their score now, before going to the big matching board to try to earn even more score money. Players, lock in your secret codes. In the event of a tie, new codes will be punched in... Matt with 31, Michael with 52, Leaf with 13. If the computer says "HIGH", Michael will win. If it says "LOW", Leaf will win. Let's see what it says.... (Randomly flashing between HIGH and LOW).... It is LOW so Leaf wins this time! Ordinarily Leaf, I would show you 4 answers and give you a category, and you'd have to eliminate the one odd answer to win control of this money board, but since it is the holidays, we're not doing questions, so you get to just pick 2 letters right now. Which 2 letters do you want Leaf?

Post by billmcdee on Dec 14, 2014 9:48:56 GMT -5
A and T it shall be.... (audience groans)....well too bad you hit that $0, but you scored $100, and now, most importantly, a trip to the matching board... This time players, remember, there are three sets of three matching items on the board, one appears in each of the three columns someplace. One of the boxes is a NO MATCH card. The other 2 boxes now have been replaced with the words "TURN OVER". If you select one of those, your turn is over, and you also must turn control of the board over to one of your opponents. To help expedite things a tad too, I'll request for Leaf to start off by selecting three boxes, rather than just 2. Please select your first three boxes Leaf, and call them out in the order in which you wish to have them revealed.

20 on the Yellow... (flip) (audience groans) Bah Humbug, NO MATCH. But at least it wasn't the turn over card! 40 on the Blue... (flip) There's a dreidel. 30 on the Red... (flip) And a Yamaka. Which box next Leaf? Still trying for $500 and a possible $500 bonus.

30 on the Green... (flip) (gasps and groans from the audience) Ut oh! I am sorry Leaf. You are the first victim ever of a turn over card. That of course now means your turn at the big board is over. It also means you must turn over control to one of your challengers to finish this board. Do you give control over to Matt or to Michael?

20 Green

Post by billmcdee on Dec 16, 2014 3:16:18 GMT -5
20 on the Green... (flip) That was a smart play as the No Match is already revealed, and you know the 40 column has that other Turn Over card. Unfortunately that pick was a menorah, so now you have one of each exposed Matt. Still 2 picks to go, a chance at $250 plus a $500 bonus if you match the right items. And to tie in with this first board theme, I'd like to wish those of you who observe and celebrate it, a very Happy Hanukkah! Matt, please select your last 2 boxes to try to match something up? If you pick the "Turn Over" card at this point, you'll score $0, but Michael won't get the last pick as no match would be possible.

30 on the Blue... (flip) Another Menorah. 1 in 3 chance here with 40 on the Green, good luck Matt! (flip) You got it! (applause) Mazel Tov Matt! Let's check behind the Menorah in the 30 column to see if that $500 bonus bill is there... (flip) (groans from the audience) Well no $500 bonus, but you did pick up $250 for making that match. And unfortunately for Leaf, we now see how the Turn Over feature will work! With that match, Matt has $250, Michael $1,125 and Leaf $100 so far. Time to lock in more codes to see who will get to go to the money board and then the matching board... Matt with 97, Michael with 41, Leaf with 24. If the computer says HIGH, it will be Matt. If it says LOW, it will be Leaf again... It is HIGH, so Matt, again, ordinarily we'd pose a question to you first, but with this being the holidays, we're foregoing the questions this time and just letting our players pick from the money board. Please select 2 of the 5 letters in MATCH and let's see how much more money you'll get.
