It's good to be here Tony. I am 23 years old from Holbrook, Massachusetts. I am a full-time college student studying early childhood education. I just want to clarify that I host Wheel of Fortune/Jeopardy! Hour. Anyway, today I am playing for Cradles to Crayons. It's an organization in Boston that donates toys, clothing and other things to kids in need.

I'm an accountant from Long Island, New York. I've been hosting Wheel of Fortune: Seasons since I first came onto this site; I'm up to 2008 of the daytime run. I'm also going to start my version Whammy! sometime soon.
I'll be playing for the Salvation Army. I've been associated with it ever since I volunteered do service at the Briarwood Residence in Queens when I was in college.

[APPLAUSE]Good luck to you, Kevin. Both of you have already know the rules before the start of the show. Whoever wins 2 out of 3 games gets to play the Money Cards. *G2-T2 hovers all the way to center stage* We begin round 1 with question number 1. *grabs card* Kevin... we've asked 100 Russian immigrants-- If the US stopped making nuclear weapons, would the country of Russia stop also? How many of them say that Russia should stop making nuclear weapons?

Post by koopakid17 on Sept 13, 2018 11:08:37 GMT -5
I don't think so. The Cold War may be long gone but there are threats from other parts of the world as well. As for Russian immigrants, I think that number's bound to be low as well: 30.

[DING]30 out of 100 say that Russia should stop making nuclear weapons. What do you think of that answer, Frank... higher or lower?

This is a tough call. I'm going to say it's a bit higher.

This is a tough call. I'm going to say it's a bit higher. More specific... why do you think the answer is higher?
|
|
|
Post by grapebuy789 on Sept 14, 2018 20:46:45 GMT -5
I think that some Russian folk would end nuclear weapons if the U.S. did. So I think it's a bit higher.

[DING]If it's higher, you'll play your cards. If not, Kevin will play his cards. And if one you gets that answer exactly, your charity wins an additional $5,000. And the actual number of Russian immigrants say that Russia should stop making nuclear weapons is-- [DING-DING-DING, APPLAUSE]59. Frank's right... it is higher. And player 2 will begin the first round starting with... ...a 2! [CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]

And we'll move the freeze bar for Frank... protecting his cards from his opponent. When our final episode continues, we'll continue the first round with our second question. But first, here's a Card Sharks Flashback that I'm sure all of you will enjoy. Please watch... *scene from episode 2, season 3* Let's move your 8 up to the Big Bet. Do you want to play on your 8 or change it, Kevin? Kevin: Change it with #2! Tony: Very big change for Kevin. Let's hope it's the big one... It's an ACE! [CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]On your Big Bet, you must bet at least $8,650. What's your call, Kevin? Kevin: All of it LOWER!! Tony: Win or draw for $34,600... [WINNING BELL SOUNDS, WIN CUE #2, CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]$34,600 on the Money Cards... [PAUSES TAPE, FADES BACK TO STUDIO] [APPLAUSE]We'll return with more of the final episode of Card Sharks right after this commercial time out. *fade to flashback from CS (1988)* Courtesy of Fremantle and CBS Television Network*fade to studio* [CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]Welcome back to the final episode of Card Sharks. The footage you had seen was taken from 1988 when the legendary Bob Eubanks was the host along with the 10 ladies from the sports entertainment/comedy program... GLOW a.k.a. the Gorgeous Ladies Of Wrestling. Man... did Mount Fiji turned Bob's world upside down. [AUDIENCE LAUGHS]Anyways... we're playing a special celebrity edition for today. Kevin Kolsen, from "Whammy!", is playing for The Salvation Army... and Frank Sartori, from the "Wheel of Fortune/Jeopardy! Hour" is playing for Cradles to Crayons. And before the break, here's what the board looks like... At this very moment, Kevin haven't touched his base card yet... while Frank is two cards away from winning the first game of the match. Let's resume the first round with our next question. *grabs card* Frank, this question involves 10 WWE female wrestlers. Ladies, please come on over to the Contestants' Row area. [CHEERS AND APPLAUSE][ALL TEN LADIES WALK TO THE AREA] Frank, we've asked the 10 ladies to this question-- During a romantic moment, has a man ever said, "Please stop, you're hurting me"?[AUDIENCE LOSES CONTROL, WILD CHEERS] Behave, audience... this is a rated G show. [LAUGHING]How many of them say they... you know?

As I look at these ladies, they look rather tough. I'm surprised that this question isn't the other way around. But in any case, I'll say 6 of the 10 said yes.

[DING]10 of them say they had made their men say it during a romantic moment. What do you think, Kevin... higher or lower?

I think in this day in age with both men and women speaking out against sex abuse, it has to be higher.

|
Post by tmann3x on Sept 18, 2018 15:15:38 GMT -5
[DING]OK... I'm gonna plead the fifth on that question. Frank says 6 and Kevin says it's higher... The actual number of female wrestlers say they had made their men say it during a romantic moment is-- [DING-DING-DING, APPLAUSE]8. Kevin's right... it is higher. Before we get to cards... please welcome one of the best female superstars. Please give it up for The Baddest Woman on the Planet and current RAW Women's Champion... "Rowdy" Ronda Rousey! [WILD CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]So Ronda... I heard it through the grapevine that you'll be facing off against the Commissioner of RAW Stephanie McMahon at a special Pay-Pay-View event. Care to give us some details. Ronda: Sure. Over 20 female superstars from RAW, SmackDown Live!, and NXT will be competing in an all-women's pay-per-view event WWE Evolution on October 28th. Kairi Sane [NXT WOMEN'S CHAMPION]: And since the entire studio audience are here, we are giving away a free 3-month subscription to the WWE Network... so you can watch Evolution live. Ahoy!!!! [MORE CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]Tony: Thank you, Kairi-san and Ronda for taking part of the poll and that awesome promotion. I'm sure everyone here will be watching next month's PPV event at no charge. And if you want to win a free subscription to the WWE Network for 3 months, all you have to do is log on to CBS.com/cardsharks and participate. Or you could text CS to 55555. Ladies, please return to your seats. And while they're sitting down, Kevin will play his cards starting with... ...a 9. Play or change?
