Well, that's good because there's a ways up to go yet. On this second level, payouts for games like "Solve It!" and "Blankety Blank" are now $2,500 however the tax penalty is higher now as well -- the pass to level 3 has doubled in price, but you're only about five grand from that Noah, so you'll be up to Level 3 in no time, I'm sure. For now though, that elevation ends your turn, so we go back to Anthony for his next roll. Let's roll those dice for Anthony, please. (ding)

Anthony, there are 5 horses in this race and you can place bets on as many of them as you like -- you can bet on them to win, place or show (i.e. come in first, second or third) -- the odds for each horse and result are listed there. Foggy Day is the favorite to win at 3-1 whereas The Sitch is the longshot at 14-1.
You must bet at least $100 on one horse, but you can bet up to all of your $5,100 on one or more horses.

Well, it's doubles first of all and it's the first playing of our "Higher Lower" card game which may actually benefit Anthony depending on how well you do, Noah. Let me explain...

On your displays, you'll see that we are displaying two rows of randomly shuffled cards. In this game, one of you may end up with some cash -- the one of you who can make it across your row without making a mistake. Noah, since this is your game, if you make it all the way, you win $2,500 and Anthony does not get a turn. If you don't make it though, he will get a crack at it and wins $1,000 if he makes it -- the difference in payout is due to the difference in levels between the two of you right now. Of course, if neither of you make it across, neither of you win anything in this game.
Aces are high and deuces are low -- Noah, you have the option of changing that four of spades if you like or playing it -- Anthony, if you get a turn, you will have to accomplish this without changing the first card.
Noah, you can play the four or change it -- what would you like, sir?

It's a five and presents an odd choice to make -- you can move five to the left, however, you don't have enough funds to buy the pass yet or you can move five to the right and pay 10% of your winnings as taxes, keeping in mind that there is a tax refund space on the top level where you would get 25% of the taxes you have paid back, if you make it that far and land on that space, of course.
