Time for another fun filled edition of Card Sharks. Hunter Dillon is our three day champ with $80,717 and we need an opponent for him. If you'd like to play, sign up here. (James played last episode, so I will ask him to sit this one out. Also, this episode won't be able to start until Friday as I will be away from my desk tomorrow until about 9:30 in the evening)

Time to get this underway. All deadlines are 48 hours, as usual, and off we go. (CS 78 theme) Jim: Uncover a seven or eight And you'll be sad But find a King or Ace And you'll be glad On...........................Card Sharks! And here's the host of Card Sharks, Mark Liotta! (Logo rises as I enter the stage. Logo descends) Me: Thank you very much, Jim Thornton. (Theme fades out) Welcome once again to Card Sharks, everyone. We'd love to end off this week by giving away a car in our bonus game, but we shall see what happens as we bring in our two players here on Card Sharks. (Hunter and Glen run to their podiums) In the red position over here is returning champ Hunter Dillon, who has a three day total of $80,717. Now Hunter, you had a painful loss in the Money Cards yesterday. Do you think you can redeem yourself today?

Thanks Mark! I'm a Finance Admin assistant for my city. In my spare time, I like to golf and play tennis in the summer, curl and play hockey in the winter and I'm excited to be here!

Well it's a pleasure to have you here, Glen. You guys know how this works, but for the folks at home who don't know, they have to clear a row of five playing cards and the first one to do so successfully will win the game and $500. First to win two games goes to the Money Cards for a chance at $32,000 as well as a brand new automobile. Hunter, you're the champ, so we start the questions with you. We surveyed 100 married women and we asked them: Does your husband try to have sex with you when it's not necessary? How many of them said that their husband tries to have sex with them when it's not necessary?

I don't think men would be that eager to make whoopee with their wife at an inappropriate time, so I'm going to say it's a fairly low number. I'm going to say 35 of them.

35 of them try to have sex when it’s unnecessary according to Hunter. (ding) Glen, is the actual number higher or lower than 35?

Wait a minute, maybe I don't understand the question here, but when is having sex unnecessary? I always thought it was always necessary -- now I know why I'm divorced, I guess!
I personally think it's going to be much higher -- most men only want sex and beer (well and game shows, of course).

Glen says it's higher. (ding) You know, there are some women who don't want sex every single night, but that's another matter entirely. The actual number of women who said that their husband tries to have sex with them unnecessarily is..........43 of them. (ding ding ding) Glen's right, it's higher. And Glen, you're starting off with.........a five (5C)

Glen is freezing on the seven. (Freeze bar goes on the seven) Question number two coming up right now and it's for mister Brown. Glen, we surveyed 100 mothers of four year old boys and we asked them: If your kid constantly causes trouble around the house, do you punish him by taking away his toys? How many of them said that they do take their kid's toys away?

Well, it certainly used to happen to me as a child -- in my case, it was my bike that I'd lose access to if I was a naughty boy. I think these days it probably happens less than it used to, so I'll say around 40% of mothers still do that.

Glen says 40 of them do that. (ding) Hunter, is the actual number higher or lower than 40?

I'm gonna say it's higher. Moms are still very strict these days when it comes to stuff like this.

Hunter says it's higher. (ding) The actual number is......73 of them. (ding ding ding) Hunter's right, it's higher. And Hunter, you start off with...........a Jack (JS). Play it or change it?

(Back to the studio) We're back with the resumption of game one of this match, and this one goes to Hunter. We surveyed 100 people that were in our audience yesterday and we asked them if they could do a better job hosting Card Sharks. How many of them said that they could do better than Mark Liotta at hosting Card Sharks?

Only if they have the gravitas of Mark Liotta could they do a better job of hosting this show than Mark Liotta. 38.

Better than you at hosting this? Not a chance! It's gotta be lower.

Glen says it's lower. (ding) The actual number of people who said they could do a better job than me at hosting Card Sharks is.............5 of them. (ding ding ding) Folks, this just goes to show you that when it comes to hosting Card Sharks, I know how to do it right. Glen, you can change the seven if you want since you won that question.
