I think we're ready to begin the episode. As usual, all deadlines are 48 hours and away we go. (cue 1978 CS theme) Jim: 8’s and 9’s will have your Heads spinning, spinning, spinning. But Ace’s and Deuce’s will have you winning, winning, winning! On Card Sharks!! And here's the host of Card Sharks, Mark Liotta! (Logo rises as I enter the stage to a tremendous applause. Logo descends) Me: Thank you very much, Jim Thornton. (Theme fades out) Welcome once again to Card Sharks, everyone. Big thanks to Matt Bingel for giving us that opening poem. Those of you who missed the show yesterday missed an exciting Money Cards round as our champ walked away with the full $32,000 pot. Now for the question everyone in America and Canada are asking themselves: Can it happen again? We'll find out in this half hour, but first, we have to meet our card sharks. (Hunter and Frankie run to the podiums) And there's our champ from yesterday, Hunter Dillon. Hunter, has your max win from yesterday completely sunk in yet?

I'm sure she'd be proud of you. Now you won $41,697 yesterday and we'd love to see you add to that total. But to do so, you have to get past your challenger which is mister Frank Sartori. Tell the folks a little about yourself, Frankie

Well we hope you do well with us today, Frankie. As you both know, we play a best two out of three match here on Card Sharks and our first question goes to the champ. Hunter, we surveyed 100 married men and we asked them: Do you feel pressure from your wife to have sex with her every night? How many of them said that they feel pressure from their wife?

There's something I'd say here, but I'm not going to because this is a family show. I'm going to say 40 of them are pressured to, as they say in the business, make whoopie.

Hunter says 40 of them feel pressure from their wives. (ding) Frank, is the actual number higher or lower?

I think it's a little higher.

Frankie says it's higher. (ding) The actual number of married men who said they feel pressure from their wives to have sex is...............81 of them. (ding ding ding) Frankie's right, it's higher. And we start off this match with.......................a six (6C). Play it or change it?

Very well. The six is now..............an eight (eight diamonds). Not much of an improvement, but you must call this.

As Hunter likes to say, "Oof dah!". I'll say lower.

Lower than the eight..............a seven (7C). Not much better but at least it's lower. Play on or freeze?

He's freezing on the eight. (Freeze bar goes on Hunter's eight) And we go to Frankie for the next question. We surveyed 100 second grade boys and we asked them: Have you been so ashamed of your report card that you hid it from your parents? How many of them said that they've hidden their report card from their parents?
|
|
|
Post by grapebuy789 on Jul 6, 2018 8:44:57 GMT -5
I remember I hid a lot of school related things from my parents. With that said, I'll say 78.

78 of them have hidden their report card according to Frankie. (ding) Hunter, is it higher or lower than 78?

Post by gameshowfan1995 on Jul 6, 2018 9:00:53 GMT -5
It's a relativity high number, but I'm going to say it's slightly lower. I think a lot of third-grade students would do that, though.

|
Post by GameShowNetwork on Jul 6, 2018 9:03:42 GMT -5
Hunter says it's lower. (ding) And I say that the actual number of second graders who have hidden their report card from their parents is: 43 of them. (ding ding ding) Hunter's right, it's lower. Now Hunter, you're two cards away from winning the first game and you can change the eight if you wish.
