Lower than the nine.......prize card! I think you could use this prize, it's $2500 in cash! That goes in your column and I'll ask if you want to make the same call.

Frankie's going to freeze right there on the seven. (Freeze bar goes on Frank's seven) And here comes another question from my little stack here. Hunter, we surveyed 100 nine year old boys and asked them: Has your sister ever pulled a prank on you that was so bad that you told your mom on her? How many of them said yes?

I reckon a lot of boys have, so I'm going to say 60 of them.

Hunter says 60 of them have told on their sister. (ding) Frankie, is the actual number higher or lower than 60?

I think it's a little higher.

Frankie says it's higher. (ding) The actual number of nine year old boys who said that they've told on their sister after pulling a bad prank on them is.................65 of them. (ding ding ding) Frankie's right, it's higher. Frankie, you're two cards away from tying up the match and you have the option of changing the seven or playing it.

Change the 7.

The seven is now.....................an Ace (AS)! That's a great change, sir!

Lower than the Ace............a three (3C)! You're one card away, Frankie!

HIGHER!

Higher than the three..............................a ten (10D) and you've tied it up! (Game win cue) Very nicely done, Frankie! $500 for winning the game plus another $2500 in cash from the prize card gives you a total of $3,000 in cold hard cash! (CS 1978 them) We'll take a break so we can set up for the tiebreaker, and then we'll be back to finish the match. (Fade to commercial)

(Back to the studio) All right, we have a great match going on here between Frankie and Hunter. Both players have won a game each, so this next one will decide our champion. In this tiebreaker, of course, we play with three cards each and only one question will be asked. Frankie, this all important question is for you. We surveyed 100 teenagers and we asked them: Which of your parents do you think is cooler, the mom or the dad? How many of them said that the dad is the cooler parent?
|
|
|
Post by grapebuy789 on Jul 14, 2018 9:33:07 GMT -5
Ooh. This is a good one. We all know how teenagers are. Dads can be pretty strict, but not all of them are. Based off that, I will say 45.

45 out of 100 say that the dad is cooler according to Frankie. (ding) Hunter, is the actual number higher or lower than 45?

|

Seeing as though a lot of teens look up to their dads, I'm going to say the answer is higher.

Hunter says it's higher. (ding) The actual number of teenagers who say that the dad is the cooler parent is...........94 of them. (ding ding ding) Hunter's right, it's higher. Now in a tiebreaker scenario, I reveal both base cards at once and then Hunter will have a decision to make. (I press a button on the video board and the base cards appear) Hunter, you have a Jack (JS) and Frankie, you have a six (6H). Hunter, you can keep control with the option of playing off the jack or changing it, or you can pass it to Frankie. What would you like to do, sir?

I will play, and I will change the Jack.

He's going to change the Jack. It is now............another Jack (JH). As long as a double or a card higher than this doesn't come up, you're golden.

Lower than the Jack....................it's a prize card. This time, it's a collection of smart watches and those will be yours if you win this round. Same call, I assume?

Higher, please.

For the match, higher than a five..............................a seven (7C) and you're still the champ! (Match win cue) Very well done, sir. (CS 1978 main theme) Well Frankie, you had a nice run at it, but Hunter was just that much better. You did wind up with three grand and we thank you for being here. Hunter, come on down here. (Hunter joins me at the center of the stage) Hunter, you pick up another $500 for winning that game and you've also won those smart watches. That prize, by the way, is valued at $1,920. So you pick up $2,420 this round. That takes you to $5,720 for the day and we'll see how he does in the Money Cards right after this. (Fade to commercial)

(Back to the studio) Our mathematicians did some calculating during the break, and they have determined that Hunter's two day total currently stands at $47,417. But now he has a chance to add to it in the Money Cards. Hunter, everyone watching at home saw what you did yesterday and they'd love to see you do it again so let's get right to it. Here's your $200. (ding) And you start off with...............a four (4C).
