Lucky Numbers is reconvening after I, perhaps wisely, bypassed the dice tables, slot machines and blackjack dealers of Vegas. (Really, I recently visited Vegas. See for yourself: www.instagram.com/dougmorrisgames -- you'll know the images when you see them.) With that said, Anthony Long returns to our virtual dice table with one match win and $8300 in cash. As we welcome him back, who wants to oppose him?

Yes I am Doug. I am very surprised that I won that much in 1 match. I just have to say I didn't think I would win.

Well, let's see how much more you'll win today. And Kevin, as we welcome you to Lucky Numbers, please tell us about yourself.

Man who knows about numbers and health. Nice to have you here from Long Island, Kevin. Anthony, welcome back from Chesnee, South Carolina. Anthony and Kevin, the best of luck to you both -- because you will need it. Please have a look at our game board. Those are the lucky numbers in play for every game in our match -- 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 and 10. Attached to five of those numbers are cash awards. Anytime your dice roll totals one of those lucky numbers, you seize control of that cash award. However, the remaining number is the luckiest number of all. It's our winning point. And the winning point in the first game we're about to play is... (drum beats; cha-ching)...the biggest one up there -- the 10. Roll a 10 in any combination and you'll win the cash you've seized *plus* the money in the pot. At the start of every game, we seed the pot with $1500. It could go up by as much as $500 on a particular roll. More on that later. Now there's a reason 7 is not among this show's lucky numbers. In any game, any roll of 7 means this. (danger zone cue; lights briefly flicker in certain parts of studio)Hum a fews of a certain Kenny Loggins song -- because we'll be entering the danger zone when a 7 is rolled. The complexion of the game will change from there. More about *that* later. Now -- to get control of the dice, you must correctly answer a toss-up question. If you anticipate and you're wrong, the roll automatically goes to your opponent. So -- Anthony and Kevin, hands on the buzzers, please -- because here comes your first question of the match. Was The Code of Hammurabi developed around 1950 B.C. or 1950 A.D.? 01 geniusinmath 40 koopakid17 02 random.org (Anthony buzzes in) Anthony?

1950 B.C. is right. (audience applause) Anthony, first roll of the game is yours. It could be the last roll. Roll double fives or six-four and you win $1500. (audience cheers) (Anthony rolls)(audience groans) (danger zone cue; lights briefly flicker in certain parts of studio)That's not the sudden result you wanted. Players, we're suddenly in the danger zone. Next player to roll a 7 loses the game -- meaning your opponent banks cash in the process. So if you feel another 7 coming, you may pass the dice if you win a question. Right now, let's see who gets control of the dice. Next question coming. Fred and Ginger, Mookies and Cream or Pat and Vanilla. Which of these was an actual flavor of Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream? 03 geniusinmath 36 koopakid17 14 random.org (Anthony buzzes in) Anthony?

No. Fred and Ginger is the right answer. Kevin, decision's yours. Want to roll the dice or pass them to the champ? (audience shouts suggestions)

Kevin says he's going to keep those dice. Let's see if you get a 10 here. (Anthony rolls) Got half of that sum -- a 5. That's good for... (ding) ...$375. Cash awards controlled by Kevin will light up blue. When Anthony controlls a cash award, it will appear red. Next question for controll the dice. It is true. You're right. (audience applause) We're still in danger. A 7 loses; a 10 wins. Who rolls? (audience shouts suggestions)

Challenger's going for it. All right. Let's see what happens. (Anthony rolls) Ten! (ASB win cue plays; audience applause) Kevin, you must've had a good feeling about those dice. As a result, you're leading in the match. $1500 from the pot and the other $375 from the 5 you roll earlier. That's $1875. Anthony, the match is young. We're about to start a new game where you can catch up. Board's all clear and we're out of danger. What's our next winning point? (drum beats; cha-ching)It's an 8. Any combination of 8 puts at least $1500 in your bank. Winner of this next question gets to roll those dice. Here it comes. "In my opinion, there never was a good war, or a bad peace." Did John Quincy Adams express this opinion; yes or no? 09 geniusinmath 99 koopakid17 24 random.org (Anthony buzzes in) Anthony?

[NOTE FROM DOUG: Yes, unfortunately, I have seen Anthony's suspended for cheating. Greg, ready to take over? If yes, you'll take over the buzz codes Anthony submitted. And it's best I throw out this John Quincy Adams question. BTW, Benjamin Franklin said, "In my opinion, there never was a good war, or a bad peace."]

No, he was part of the Whig Party. So, "neither" is the right answer. Kevin, just like that, first roll in this second game's yours. (Kevin rolls) (audience groans) (danger zone cue; lights briefly flicker in certain parts of studio) Uh oh. Welp, we're in the danger zone again. Next roll of 7 means victory and money for your opponent. So the winner of the next question has the option to roll or pass. Next query. John Adams, Benjamin Franklin or John Hancock. Ben Franklin's right. (audience applause) Right now, we have 15 portraits of Ben Franklin in the pot. Kevin, do you want to roll or pass? (audience shouts suggestions) Any 8 still wins; any 7 still loses.
