That's what I was thinking. I bet Wally was, too. (ding) Of course, he says -- which has nothing to do with this title which starts with a D.

Since you said "please", Wally, please set up Lucky 7. (FF reveal sfx) Thanks, Wally. Lenny, as you know, Wally will give you a certain number of chances to roll any sum of 7 on the dice. But before Wally sets the timer, we need to find out what is at stake. All you have to do is pick a letter in the word "lucky". For winning the match, that lucky pick could lead to up to $250,000 in cash -- (audience cheers) -- *or* one of these spiffy prizes. (cue19) (director takes one shot of Lenny -- then a zoom-in shot of the big screen in the audience area) Tiffany: Lenny, a lucky roll of 7 could send you -- to Dubai. (audience cheers) You and a guest will fly round trip coach to Dubai, United Arab Emirates for a six-night stay at a fantastic hotel located near the IMG World of Adventure -- the largest indoor theme park in the world. We're also giving you and your guest six days' worth of admission to the park and an additional $10,000 in spending money -- to make this vacation worth $28,950.Or you could take from the CBS garage -- A NEW CAR!(cue30car) (audience cheers) The Porsche 718 Cayman S comes with 2.5L turbo-charged engine, the premium package, automatic transmission, navigation module and much more. This car is worth $84,965. (audience cheers) Thanks, Tiffany. A great car, a great trip *with* cash -- and three standalone cash awards. Please pick a letter in "lucky" -- and let's see what's at stake.

Wally, what do you offer in the letter U? (cha-ching) (scattered cheers) $25,000. And now... (alarm goes off) ...Wally's activating the shutdown timer. Considering what you're playing for against the values of the other prizes, Wally's giving you... (ding) ...a great amount of chances -- six -- to roll any sum of 7. Each time you don't roll a 7, you win the roll's total value in hundreds of dollars. Doubles are worthless *and* automatically shutdown the game -- meaning you don't win the $25,000. Ready to play Lucky 7, Lenny?

Then, please take the dice -- because you are on a roll. (audience cheers on Lenny as...) (...he rolls) First roll's a 4 and 1. (ding) Good for $500 with five rolls to go. (Lenny rolls)(buzz; NYSI89 losing horns; audience groans)And suddenly -- zero rolls left -- because we've just had the automatic shutdown in doubles. But, yes, Wally does accurately point out you've won lots of money on our show. Ready to see your up to date winnings, Lenny?

Our champion, to say the least, is on a roll. Do you think you have what it takes to become the new champ and win more than half a million dollars? It can be done in one match.
Next person to respond to this post who has not opposed Lenny in a previous match gets to play.

Tiffany: Closed captioning provided by... (audience cheers) And we're back. Lenny's finished counting up his money -- (scattered laughter from crowd) -- and our guest models from The CW's "Dynasty" have traded places. Elizabeth Gillies is now over at the game board. Nathalie Kelley is joining us here at the dice table. Also joining us at the table is our next challenger, Evan Hatfield. (audience cheers) Evan, as we welcome you aboard, please tell us about yourself.

I am indeed Evan Hatfield - at least, that's what they've told me to say.
I'm a college student hailing from the suburbs of Chicago - I'm hoping to get myself into the wonderful world of radio after I graduate. Outside school, I enjoy pretty much anything with the word "game" in it - board games, video games, game shows... you get the idea.

Well good luck in this *dice* game you're about to play, Evan. Lenny, good luck to you as well -- as we start a new match with this name game. (FF reveal sfx)Eight-letter answer -- and here comes its question. Who got on a roll -- when he started co-anchoring the news with Chet Huntley?(ding)
(Lenny and Evan, please PM me your answer and a buzz code from 1-100.)

43 redrangerdude 49 Twentington 69 random.org(Evan buzzes in) Evan? Evan: I'm a journalism major, so I'm really in trouble if I don't get this one - it's BRINKLEY. (dings; audience applause)David Brinkley. That's right. And this is a good time to note these name games, the puzzles and the Big 6 words are all prepared well in advance. So it's just one of those lucky situations for the J school student over here that a question about a legendary newsman came up. So, Evan, with that, we welcome you to the game. Please step into the box. Nathalie's giving you the dice -- and with the wave of Elizabeth's hand... (FF reveal sfx; Nathalie waves hand and poses by numbered and blocked spaces) ...we have clues hidden behind those numbered and blocked spaces. Remember, you're looking to the numbers and sums you roll to uncover as many letters as you can. Each blocked space stay blocked until you correctly solve a clue. And lastly. Please. Don't. Roll. Doubles. So, with that, Evan, you -- are on a roll. (audience cheers as...) (Evan rolls)Good beginning -- a 5 and a 2. You may take any 2 and 5 off the board -- remember, you don't have to play those numbers on the same row -- or you may play the sum and take any 7.
