(scattered cheers) Okay, can we go double-free this round? (Joseph rolls)We can -- with a 2 and a 3... ...or a 5. Not much of a choice -- but a choice nonetheless.

(Nathalie touches screen) I believe Nathalie's giving you an I, Joseph. We're out of rolls -- but you may guess the middle row's clue. A wrong guess or a pass means we play an apparently crucial name game.

(dings; audience cheers) That's right. Joseph, with that clue, you have a chance to win the game and tie up the match. A wrong guess on the puzzle means we play another name game -- with play-or-pass mode likely to follow. But let's see if you can tie up the match here.

(audience cheers) For the game -- and to tie up the match -- is it -- Indiana? (TPiR Pathfinder wrong move sfx) (audience groans) No! Great guess with what's up there -- but incorrect. Well, Joseph, please head back to your buzzer. Lenny's ready to chime in. Again, players, the winner of this next name game gets to roll the dice automatically. All rolls beyond doubles are still good. (FF reveal sfx)Big ten-letter name game coming up. Here's the question. Give me the last name of the voice actress who's been on a roll – since she started voicing Bart on "The Simpsons"? (ding)[Lenny and Joseph, please PM me your answer and a buzz code from 1-100.]

52 redrangerdude 61 joeygatorman 21 random.org (Lenny buzzes in) Lenny? Lenny: Cartwright (dings; audience applause)Nancy Cartwright -- from Dayton to Springfield. Short commute depending on which Springfield you're talking about. Lenny, Elizabeth's got your dice ready. Four rolls are on the board. You -- are on a roll. (Lenny rolls)Starting this round with a 2 and a 3... ...or a 5. Obviously, you'll make your move on the bottom row.

(Nathalie touches screen) Playing the components for an R... (Nathalie touches screen) ...and an I. Players, I can now tell you at least one roll outside of doubles cannot be made. I think more than one roll beyond doubles won't work -- but all it takes is one outside of doubles to trigger play-or-pass mode. From now until the puzzle's solved, if you throw numbers and a sum that cannot be played, the roll's just as bad as doubles -- meaning your opponent takes over the remaining rolls and a free letter. So, if you have a feeling the dice are going to go cold on you, you may pass the dice -- in the hope to get the dice back with a free letter. Lenny, with that, you may still guess the bottom row's clue if you'd like. Whether or not you take a guess, you may still roll or pass the dice.

(dings; audience applause) That's right. Lenny, with two clues revealed in full, you have a chance to solve the puzzle and win the match. A pass or a wrong guess means you still get to roll or pass the dice.

ANNUAL RACE?
|
|
|
Post by dougmorrisontheair on May 15, 2018 21:20:02 GMT -5
Yeah, the first clue better be motorsports-related -- or else it wouldn't make sense. (scattered laughter from crowd) (FF reveal sfx) There ya go -- annual race it is. The Indianapolis 500 is an annual race held in the Hoosier State of Indiana -- and the winner for decades would drink milk in victory lane. (Elizabeth places dice near Joseph's buzzer) That's the match. Joseph, he's tough. You give him an inch and he takes a mile. While we say goodbye, we're saying goodbye with nearly $24,000 in cash and prizes from the last show. That and more gifts await you backstage. Nice hand for Joseph Kristoff. (audience cheers as Joseph and Elizabeth walk off stage right) Well, Lenny, you're closing in on $400,000 in winnings. Depending on your luck with the dice and the Big 6 word, you could crack half a million. (more cheers) Right now, let's see how lucky you are with our money roll. For winning the match, the sum will be multiplied by $10,000. Doubles are allowed here -- meaning a roll of boxcars makes your Big 6 game worth up to $120,000. (more cheers) You've cashed in for $110,000 before, as I recall. Let's go for boxcars here. (audience cheers as Lenny claps dice and rolls) (cha-ching) (more cheers) And the yo-leven for the money roll again. Lenny tries to win another $110,000 with help from Wally -- after this. (theme plays; audience cheers) (theme plays)

(audience cheers) Lenny Jackson has only won two matches -- but has a lot to show for it -- $381,900 in cold hard cash. (more cheers) And there's a chance to boost that total to roughly $600,000 over the next few moments -- with help from the one and only -- Wally! (more cheers) Wally, what's on your mind this Friday Eve? (FF reveal sfx) (scattered laughter from crowd) Keeping up with the "Dynasty" theme, of course. Well, maybe later. Right now, Lenny would like to invest in another Big 6 game. So, may we have the numbers, please? (FF reveal sfx) Thank you, Wally. Lenny, as you know by now, the dice faces accordingly hide the letters that spell out your Big 6 word. Much like the main game, you're going to try to uncover as many letters in the Big 6 word as you possibly can with rolls of the dice. Now, Wally's about to give us a hint. Wally, may we have the hint, please? (ding) Small Screen. Lenny, to clarify, this is a proper noun. Furthermore, this is the title of a TV show seen on a network, in syndication or on a streaming service; the show may or may not be currently in production. And because it's a *six*-letter word and "Dynasty" is *seven* letters long -- (scattered laughter from crowd) -- we know the answer's not "Dynasty". Now, much like the earlier game, you get four rolls of the dice. What's different here is if you roll two different numbers, you may only take one of the two numbers you rolled -- and you can never play the sum. So if you rolled a 1 and a 3, you could have Wally reveal the first letter or the third letter -- but not the fourth letter. After your first roll, if you can correctly solve the Big 6 word, look right into that camera and exclaim how much money you'll win.

(more cheers) Yes indeed. If, however, you need a second roll, the value of the Big 6 word drops steeply to $10,000 -- and for each roll thereafter, we cut the potential winnings in half. While you're on a roll in Big 6, anytime you throw doubles or two different numbers you've already played, that counts as a wasted roll and reduces your potential winnings accordingly. (Elizabeth hands Lenny dice) Lenny, a win here and a big win in Lucky 7 would just about blow the roof off of this place. Let's do it to it. You -- are on a roll. (audience cheers as...) (Lenny rolls)Well -- that's a winning roll for later -- but here... ...it's a choice of the third or fourth letter.
