(Doug looks at monitor off-stage) Oh, good, we're still on the air. (scattered laughter from the crowd) (Doug pushes button on toaster revealing Round 3 questions) Network's letting us finish up. Steven, you're still leading. You get the pick of Question A or Question B.

(grabs B) It made you $200 richer last round. Reminder than if anyone matches all six stars, the money score's bumped up to $1000 -- with an extra $500 going to the winning player. Tony and Kevin, please sit this one out -- while the rest of you respond to this. Oh, we should preface the question with this. Wally from Daytime On A Roll and the late night spinoff popped the question to Mollie from Celebrity Gambit recently. All those shows air on another network. Now -- you think the upcoming marriage of two game show boards is strange? Get a load of this. Murray said, "I went to the wedding of two antennas. The ceremony wasn't all that great but the BLANK was excellent." (audience laughs and applauds) (think music plays)

(I submit my card)
Now, I heard rumors that the late night spinoff was going into syndication. I think it'd be a great alternative to the Jimmys the networks offer.

Why not HBO? They'd take us for any rating. They already air Sesame Street for crying out loud.

I was talking about On a Roll After Dark, not this show. Although, if we did go to another network, NBC could bring back Another World. I miss that show.

Huh boy, the webs we weave. Steven, they're set. Question again. Murray said, "I went to the wedding of two antennas. The ceremony wasn't all that great but the BLANK was excellent."

(audience cheers)Doug: *There* is the answer. Let's compare answers -- again starting with Jonathan. Jonathan: Oh how punny... (ding; audience applause) Doug: And just like that, Steven's up to $300. Greg, do you make it four? Greg: After that last round, you had to play it safe, didn't you? (ding; audience applause)Doug: Best thing to say with Square on the horizon, I agree. Matt, did you agree with Steven's answer? Matt: Too Easy!! (ding; audience applause)Doug: We aims to make 'em easy in Round 3. Steve, if you match your namesake, he'll max out and we'll bump up his cash total to $1000. Steve: Oh goodie goodie. This one's easier than a P-Town Lady.... (ding; audience applause)Doug: And that's the perfecto. Doug: Steven, six matches at $100 each plus $400 for matching everyone for the grand. Raymond, we've had people run the table on one question. If they can do it -- so can you.

(grabs A; walks to panel) And since Raymond's yet to score, all six stars play this. The Unknown Comic said, "I thought for sure Tommy Maitland would invite me as a recurring act on the new version of 'The Gong Show'. But he didn't. I guess it wasn't in the BLANK after all." (audience laughs and applauds) (think music plays)

When I was 3, I used to love watching "The Gong Show" with the late, great Chuck Barris. And now that Tommy Maitland is the new host of that remake, I've heard it was both bizarre and funny. Something that "True" Don Bleu couldn't even touch.

Okay, Raymond, they're all set. You'll need the panel to be unanimous -- and match all six of their answers to force a tie-break. Here's the query one more time. The Unknown Comic said, "I thought for sure Tommy Maitland would invite me as a recurring act on the new version of 'The Gong Show'. But he didn't. I guess it wasn't in the BLANK after all."

All,
My son will be moving into college in less than two weeks, so I may not be on as often until after we get him moved in and settled in.
Additionally, one of my co-workers suddenly quit yesterday, leaving us somewhat short-handed, so work will be far far busier for me, and it will afford me little if any time to come on these boards during work hours. I will still go on from home, but it will be rather limited until August 26th so I ask all the hosts and my contestants to please bare with me.
Lastly, I'm not sure why, but my postimage images are coming out looking somewhat "wonky" for lack of a better word and that has me mildly discouraged, not to mention waking up this morning to a note from my wife saying our clothes dryer died, so we'll be busy getting a new one and having that delivered some time this week, plus I'm getting new glasses that should be in today or tomorrow, so I have a rather hectic and busy calendar up through August 26th at least.
Thank you,
Bill
