Would Michael Clifford and Cle'ment kindly check in at this time?
Also, would you both kindly submit to me via private message 20 buzz codes ranging from 1 to 100 inclusive?
I'd also like for you Michael when you submit your buzzcodes to me to please submit to me two "cut" codes (higher than 0, lower than 52), one for the match and one if you make it to the Gambit Board.
Cle'ment, when submitting your 20 buzz codes to me, also include how deep into the deck you would want to cut the cards should you return to the Gambit Board.
If I hear from both of you today, we should be able to start this re-match some time later today.
Thank you very much gentlemen.
Kindest regards,
Bill

picosong.com/wicm/(FRANK CALIENDO AS KENNY WILLIAMS): You have the knowledge! You know the odds... All the rest is in the cards... And now a game of skill, fate and fortune... GAMBIT... P.M.! From the Bob Barker Studio at Television City in Hollywood, here's the host of GAMBIT P.M., Bill McDee! (cheering & applause) That would be yours truly! Thank you ladies and gentlemen of our studio audience, contestants, audience members watching from home, and thank you Frank Caliendo. This is the night time version of Gambit, which we affectionately call Gambit PM. If you missed our last program, it's kind of Deja'vu all over again, as both contestants from our last show are back to have a re-match, and here to introduce them is our very lovely dealer, as well as my niece, Lynn Jennings, hello Lynn! (cheers & applause) Good evening everybody, good evening to you Uncle Bill! Bill - Would you do the kind honors Lynn of re-introducing us to our current champion, and our recent champion? picosong.com/q789/Lynn - You bet! First to my left, our current champion, all the way from France, his one day cash total is $2,725, it's Cle'ment! (applause) Lynn - And challenging him once again, our first Gambit P.M. champion whose 2 day total, again all cash, is $13,000, from New Jersey, it's Michael Clifford! (applause) Lynn - Players, good evening and good luck! Thank you Lynn. Cle'ment, welcome back to Gambit PM. On our last program you had uncovered quite a few numbers off of our Gambit Board, unfortunately the cards didn't work too well in your favor, so you didn't win anything last evening, but this is a new episode, and anything can happen! Good luck going for win number 2 today. And Michael, we invited you back because of an ambiguous question, and as such, you too are going for your second win. So far $13,000 even, all cash, a very nice total. And had Cle'ment stopped with a 15 last night, you would have collected another $3,750, but he literally went for broke. I mention that because I don't know if you would have frozen on that 15 or not Michael. You did during our first episode, so that too was like Deja'vu all over again. Good luck in tonight's match. Lynn is now breaking the seal on a freshly shuffled deck of 52 playing cards and we'll ask Michael to cut them, since he is in essence the "challenger". Remember players, the one of you who comes closer to 21 without going over will win the game and $50 per point. The runner-up receives $25 per point unless that player goes over in which case they win nothing. To earn cards you must be the first to ring in with a correct answer. The winner of each toss-up receives $100 and control of the card. Remember too, if either of you scores 21 on the nose, you'll win the Any 21 Jackpot. Right now Any 21 will win you an extra $1,750! (applause) But a 2 card 21, a Blackjack wins you double that or... (clang) $3,500! (applause) Also, to the winner of game 1 of this best 2 out of 3 match goes the right to play "Beat the Dealer" in one hand of BlackJack, worth $3,000. First things first, we always show you the first card... It's a Deuce of Diamonds and you're visiting Mount Rushmore. Are you in North Dakota or South Dakota? Cle'ment?

Is correct for $100!
(applause)
I've never been there either, but hope to see it one day.
Cle'ment do you want that 2?

It's early in the game, so I might as well take the 2. So long for the blackjack bonus.

I will pass the card to Clement.

A correct answer, and even specified that it was Earth's moon! (applause) $100 to you Michael, and you are electing to pass the next card to your opponent, perhaps hoping it is a 10 or a Face Card. Lynn, show us, please... (the audience screams in sorrow for Michael) Oh Michael....well Cle'ment, that Ace now belongs to you as does a score of 3 or 13... At this point you may freeze if you wish, however I would just remind you that the next card you take or have passed to you can not possibly put you over, because of that Ace being worth 1 and/or 11. Freeze or continue Cle'ment?

There's no reason to freeze now. Play on.

And we play on... Bess Truman or Margaret Truman...which one was Harry S Truman's wife? Michael is in first...

Let's see if that was good strategy. Anything 7 or less will only improve your score Cle'ment. An 8 will give you a 21 and an instant win. Lynn? A King of Hearts comes to you now Cle'ment... You now definitely have 13, and again the option to freeze or continue. (Cle'ment I realize you notated in the vacation thread that you'll be indisposed for a bit, so when you're able to continue, just let me know, meantime we'll keep your place for you.)

Time to look at the odds... 19 cards out of 49 will make me lose at that point. I'm going on.

Ah, I was wondering what you were doing with that abacus there Next question for $100 and all important control of the next card... You're playing cards with three friends and you declare yourself the "dummy". Are you playing Pinochle, Bridge, or Hearts? And it's Michael who is first again, and with a buzzcode exacta of 19 to boot!

Let's see whose strategy pays off here, Michael's or Cle'ment's. Lynn, the next card please... www.fileswap.com/dl/RhdqZohcIW/sc-buzz.mp3.html Too much! And Game 1 goes to Michael! picosong.com/3zeF/So although Michael had a score of 0, and we ordinarily pay $50 per point, we have a house minimum here on Gambit PM of $500 for a win. Michael a total thus far today of $800. Cle'ment, take heart, as it takes 2 games won to take a match here on Gambit. When we return, Michael will, for the third day in a row, play "Beat the Dealer" for a chance at a $3,000 cash bonus. Back with that in just a moment!

About to play "Beat the Dealer" with Michael Clifford who is visiting us here from my birth state of New Jersey. Michael, you're an old pro at this game, but for those who might be watching for the first time, let me explain that Michael is going to play 1 hand of BlackJack vs. our lovely dealer, my niece Lynn. If Michael's hand beats Lynn's tonight, Michael will win a bonus of... (clang) Three-Thousand Dollars! (cheers & applause) Michael, if you TIE the dealer, you'll win $1,000, but if the dealer beats you, you will win nothing. We are using the same deck of cards incidentally. Lynn has to hit on 16 and less, and must stand on any hand that is 17 or better. Michael, you may elect to freeze as soon as your score is 12 or higher, okay? Lynn, please deal out the cards for our mini bonus game...Michael gets the first card... A 5, not the best card, but we'll see what happens. Now a "hole" card for Lynn... And Michael's next card... A Queen, for a total of 15, and finally Lynn's up card... (audience groans) A big old King of Diamonds for her. Lynn, can you first of all please confirm that your hold card is NOT an Ace? (she peeks) Lynn - It is not an Ace. Bill - Alright Michael, you're still in business then. You have a 15, you can freeze if you wish or draw another card. If it puts you over 21 the game is over and you win nothing. So do you want to take another card or freeze on that 15? Audience, what should Michael do?

Freezing on 15, that definitely keeps you in the game for the moment. I heard some groans out in the audience. You think he should have taken another card? (some of the audience cheers) Well, we shall see. Lynn, you have a 10 showing, if her next card is a 7 or better, then it's all over. Lynn, please reveal the hole card... Ah ha! See there audience? The house must take another card since it is below 17. Lynn, we want a big card to put the house over...deal it up! A Jack is TOO much, and Michael wins $3,000!!! picosong.com/3zeF/Oh sure, NOW you're cheering for him audience! Michael, your instincts once again proved spot on! That's another $3,000 in instant cash for you. He leads in our current match 1 game to 0. Will Michael win another match? Will Cle'ment make a come back? You won't know unless YOU come back! More to come picosong.com/cThu/

Back here on Gambit PM, in case you just missed it, Michael just won himself $3,000 in instant cash beating the house. In this game either our contestants could win over $5,000 in cash! (audience oohs & ahhs) And what's more, tonight's winner will go to the Gambit Board where there is over $100,000 in cash and prizes loaded on that board!!! (louder ooohs & ahhs) So before we show you the first card in game #2 players, the Any 21 Jackpot starts at $1,000 and grows by $250 each time a 21 is not made. We've not had a 21 for several games now, so it currently is worth... (clang) $2,000. And of course if either player gets a 21 with just 2 cards, we double it to... (clang clang) $4,000! (applause & cheers) Lynn, let's see the first card here for game #2... Say, we had a 2 to start our first game too. I told you this is a Deja Vu episode gang! For $100 and control of the 2... Paul Tsongas, Michael Dukakis, or Walter Mondale. Which of these candidates lost the Presidential Election back in 1988? Michael?
