Our current champion Cle'ment and our current co-champion Michael are headed to the Gambit Board! Frank, tell us what's up on the Gambit Board this evening would you please? www.fileswap.com/dl/7vgdIMa622/05_-_Contestant_Intro_2.mp3.html(FRANK CALIENDO as Kenny Williams) - Any 21 at the Gambit Board this evening will win the Gambit Jackpot which now stands at Five-Thousand Five-Hundred dollars! And for a 2 card twenty-one, we'll double that to... Eleven-Thousand dollars in cash!!! (audience ooohs & ahhs) Plus, any 21 with the right combination of Gambit Board selections will win you this... All new, for 2015, it's the Lincoln Navigator. Lincoln....drive in style... SIXTY TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS!!! (audience oohs & ahhs again) Fellas, I'd really love to give away a Lincoln to each of you this evening. Cle'ment, since you are the current champion you'll be doing all the work here. First, Lynn has just broken the seal on a freshly shuffled deck of 52 playing cards, which were under the watchful CBS eye of Standards & Practices. Cle'ment please select a number higher than 0 but lower than 52. This will represent how deep into the deck you wish to cut the cards. As you do that, I'll remind you both that we have our half trip cards on the board, our 500 times card, our four suit cards worth $1,000 each, our Plus or Minus 1 card, the Take 2 card, a new card called "SHIELD" which I'll explain if and when you should happen to select that, and lots of other goodies as well, plus two of the prizes on the board are MYSTERY MONEY or PICK AGAIN, and the mystery money can be anywhere between $300 all the way up to $5,000 in cold hard cash! Cle'ment after you give me your "cut code" I'll ask you to please select one of the numbers off of our big old Gambit Board...

And 19 has... (clang) A new kitchen! Frank? FRANK - From Maytag... This compete kitchen including dishwasher, microwave range and side by side refrigerator with ice dispenser, all from Maytag! The first card dealt to you will determine what the dealer's hand will be Cle'ment, and that is the score you will have to beat in order to keep all prizes off of the big board... We're hoping the first card will be a club or a heart, if so you'll only have to beat 15, a spade will require you to beat a 16, and a diamond would require you to beat a 17. And in all cases, you must beat the score, not tie, in order to keep the prizes. Lynn, what is the first card? A 2 of clubs. Not a great card, but it is a club, so all you need to win the Gambit Board prizes is 16 or more, without going over 21 of course... If you win at the Gambit Board, you'll also be paid $250 per point. If you're in danger of going over 21, I'll offer you that cash only as a bailout. Obviously you are safe right now so select another number if you would please Cle'ment.

Number 6 please.

And behind number six we have... (CLANG) A "C" and Pick Again. Cle'ment, in order to hang onto that "C" you must win at the Gambit Board, meaning you'll need a score of 16 to 21. If you win a subsequent match, you'll carry that "C" over to the next Gambit Board. In order to win that $62,000 Lincoln Navigator, you must have the C, the A and the R and score a 21. Please select another number at this time Cle'ment, as you will not draw another card until you select a card that does not require you to pick again

Going with 7, then.

Number 7 has... (ding) One half of a foreign trip, and you get to pick yet again before receiving your next card. To win the trip, you must uncover both halves during the same visit to the Gambit Board, and get 16 or more in this case. While the car letters are carried over, the half trip cards are not. Select again, perhaps you'll find the other half of that foreign trip, and if so, Frank will tell us where it's to!

(Folks, I apologize for the missing images. Apparently photobucket has this bandwidth nonsense that was somehow or other exceeded. Rather than pay extra, or try a new service that I cannot figure out, I simply created a new blessed Photobucket account. So sorry all the images vanished up until now....) Number 1... (ding) A spa! Frank? FRANK - From American Spas... a two person, 28 jet triangular spa with backlit LED waterfall, by American Spas! Next card for Cle'ment and Michael please Lynn... Say that's a nice one, an 8 to go with your 2... A total of 10, and no risk of going over, so back to the Gambit Board we go Cle'ment, next number please...

Number 10... (ding) A $1,000 Heart! (applause) That's worth $1,000 to you if you win here at the Gambit board Cle'ment and Michael, and for every heart you draw that doesn't put you over 21, another $1,000 that could be won. Lynn, they need a 6 or better to win close to $10,000 cash & prizes and retain the C and A toward the car on our next show. What is their next card please? (audience groans in agony) Well it is a heart, so that will be worth another $1,000 in cash to you both if you beat the dealer of course, however now Cle'ment, you're looking at 12. A Ten, Jack, Queen or King would put you over and you would win nothing. So if you wish, I'll pay you $250 per point right now, and award you the $3,000 in cash. Do you want to risk it or quit? (audience shouting advice)

And behind 17 we get... (ding) Mystery Money or pick again. Could be as little as $300 or as mucha s $5,000 in cash or anything in between. Keep it or pick again Cle'ment?

With the car possibly at stake, I pick again. 8 please.

First let's see what the mystery money amount was... $3,270!!! (audience moans) But trying for that car he wants #8... Fashions, Frank? FRANK - From J.C. PENNEY, a $2,500 shopping spree for m'lady, choose from hundreds of clothing and accessory items, JC PENNEY, where fashion comes to life... $13,249 cash & prizes at risk plus the $3,000 in front of you. He just needs a 4, but not more than a 9 to win...Lynn? (audience screams in disbelief) Well now Cle'ment, you are tied with our lovely Lynn at 15. There are no ties in Gambit except the one around my neck. If you quit now, you win $3,750. If you gamble and go over 21, you win nothing. At stake so far is the money in front of you, $3,750 plus $13,249 in cash and valuable prizes as well. What do you want to do? A 7 or more puts you over and you will win nothing at all. Tough choice...

Time to use poker strategy. Anything valued 6 or below and I win. Anything valued 7 or over and I lose.
48 cards remaining, 21 of them would give me a win, that's more than 40%. $3,750 is less than 40% of what is at stake, so I continue on.

(ding) $1,000 Diamond! And you already have one in your hand, over $15,000 at stake here. Oh Lynn, give them a win... Oh no!! (Buzzer) Too much! (audience groans)... Dog gonnit! I am truly sorry Cle'ment & Michael. That 9 came up one card too late. Well nothing here tonight at the Gambit Board unfortunately, but we'll be back to recap right after this...

Back to conclude episode #2 of Gambit PM. Well Cle'ment, you didn't win anything at the Gambit Board tonight. I understood your reasoning for going for it. In reviewing our accounting, we discovered you were not credited $100 for a question during a game so we're amending your total. Michael, due to the technicality of the state nickname of Hawaii not being specific with regard to us wanting the official state nickname, we're inviting you back to compete against Cle'ment on our next program. Cle'ment in cash you have $2,725 today! (applause) Michael, you won $1,750 in today's match, when added to your previous winnings, gives you an all cash total of... $13,000! (applause) Contestants, we will see you on our next program. Lynn, we'll be seeing you on our next program too. Lynn - Yes you will, Uncle Bill! And we hope to be seeing you, and that you will be seeing us on the next episode too. Be sure to catch Gambit in the A.M. too with Tony Lane at the helm. Every program they have over one million dollars at stake! And on behalf of Frank Caliendo, Lynn Jennings, all the staff and crew here at Gambit P.M., this is "Uncle" Bill McDee wishing you all a very pleasant good evening! picosong.com/cThu/(applause) FRANK CALIENDO (As Kenny Williams) : From the Bob Barker Studio at Television City in Hollywood, this is Frank Caliendo speaking for GAMBIT PM... A Merrill Heatter Bob Quigley Production.
