You know, I really do feel terrible about the circumstances that took place last episode, so I'd like to invite Ian Laudato and Jon Darrall to come back and try this again (if they so choose).

---------------------------- (pre-open, I wait outside the doors) Greg: Hi again. We've been reading your Facebook and Twitter comments regarding last night's show. On behalf of the network, I want to apologize for Rachel Maddow's impromptu NBC News Digest. All of us are sorry that most of the last episode got lost. That's why we've decided to bring Jon Darrall back. Enjoy. (I give a thumbs up to the camera as we transition to Evan) ---------------------------- (drumroll) (shot of Evan Hatfield) Johnny Gilbert: (VO) This is Evan Hatfield, a student from Chicago, Illinois. Stand by to see him play for a trip to Dubai, valued at $15,353![MAIN THEME]
Tonight, on America's biggest bargain sale, we're offering a Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet valued at $104,525 for $530!
Cash and prizes worth over $1,000,000 for $875!
Two of the incredible bargains on.....
(echo) And now, here's the star of the show, Greg Palmer!(the doors open and I run to my lectern)Greg: Thank you, Johnny Gilbert. And thank you, ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to America's biggest bargain sale. Where else are you going to find over $1,000,000 in cash and prizes for only $875? Where else are you going to find a trip to Dubai for only $260? That's the question we have to ask our fine champion, Evan Hatfield! (audience cheers) So Evan, have you been keeping up with your prize winnings so far?

Oh, that's right. You did win the CashCard yesterday, took us for 20 grand. That's been reset to $10,000; and we'll get to that later on in the show. More importantly, a win today with $25 would give you that trip to Dubai worth over $15,000. If you win with $100 or more, you'll win the electric car worth exactly $36,000. A lot to play for tonight. Good luck to you. And now, let's bring in our own Stacey Wren. (Stacey comes out to cheers and applause) Greg: Hello, Stacey. Stacey: G'day, Greg. (the two embrace) Greg: I learned an interesting thing about you recently. You know that song of yours Sonia taught me while she was here? The one that goes, "Here comes Stacey, she's at it again..." Well, that was actually from a set of Saturday Night Live sketches. Stacey: That's right, I just love Saturday Night Live, and especially Gilly, so I used her theme song.Greg: Oh good. And speaking of SNL, I'm going to be hosting an episode in early October. So, watch out for that. Who are our two challengers tonight? (as the door opens, models of the opposite gender bring them in and seat them)Stacey: Well, you may recognize one of them, because he was here on the last show. Due to a technical difficulty, most of Rounds 1 and 2 were erased last night, so we felt it only fair to bring back Jon Darrall from Greenville, South Carolina. (audience cheers) Now, we offered Ian the same opportunity, but he didn't take it. Luckily, we have a new contestant. He's unemployed, and he's from Marlton, New Jersey. Please give a warm welcome to Michael Clifford.(audience cheers) Greg: All right. Thank you so much, Stacey. Let's start off with Michael. Hiya, Michael. Welcome to the show. So, you're unemployed, eh? You're in good company. How do you keep yourself busy?

Well, among other things, I like to watch TV. I watch this show all the time on NBC10 in Philadelphia. Unfortunately, it's getting whooped in the ratings by "Wheel Of Fortune" on 6ABC...(audience laughter)...but I'm more loyal to this show thank you very much.

Well, thank you so much. We appreciate our loyal viewers, and we'd like to think Pat and Vanna watch our show too.
Are you studying to be anything? What kind of jobs are you looking for?

Well, good luck to you in this game. Stacey, shall we take off? Stacey: I think we should. $20 to start.(the board initializes) Michael: $20 Jon: $20 Evan: $20
Greg: And we'll see you with an Instant Bargain later on. (she waves and exits) We've got $340,000 in the cash jackpot, and $10,000 in CashCard later on in the show. Evan needs $25 and the win for that trip to Dubai, and $100 or more for the electric car. So there's an awful lot to play for. Good luck to everyone, here we go. 1. What two colors is a magpie? 2. What nation hosts the 124-mile Elfstedtocht, the longest annual ice skating race in the world? 3. What fraction of the cardinals voting, plus one, is needed to elect a new pope? 4. What former Saturday Night Live regular was recently announced to take over for the late Don Pardo as announcer? 5. Whose last role before running for office was as a villain in the 1964 movie The Killers? (buzzcodes from 1-100 and answers via PM, please)

More like a "No Sale". (I walk back to my lectern) Nobody wants to give up the lead. Back to the questions.
1. What was dubbed the "Boston game", as played by Harvard teams starting in 1869? 2. In what 20th century decade did AT&T first introduce 800 numbers? 3. What Melrose Place "Special Guest Star" actually remained with the show for the remaining six seasons? 4. "Don't cry for me, Argentina...." Just tell me what the capital of that country is.

[FAME GAME]Fame Game time, putting a $10 money card up on the board and Jon could tie it up if he finds it. Looking for a famous group. We are a musical group, established in Melbourne, Australia in early 1975. Our lead singer had been the lead singer of leading Australian 1960s pop band The Twilights and highly regarded early 1970s country rock band Axiom. Axiom split and joined up with members of another band after an unsuccessful attempt to crack the UK charts. We decided our new band would focus on establishing ourselves in the United States, and our manager was a key factor in our success in that regard. We began making promotional visits to the US in September 1976, which resulted in a US hit single, "It's a Long Way There". It broke into the US Top 30 and galvanized our commitment. Later hits included "Happy Anniversary", "Help is on Its Way", and our biggest hit in the US, "Reminiscing".(please send me your buzzcodes and answers or "pass", just know that if someone sends me a buzzcode, they'll get first consideration)
