[FAME GAME]Well, if any of you want a chance to catch up with Jon, you might need that $25 Money Card that's going up there. The $15 is still there. We're looking for a famous thing. I am a TV show whose format originated in The Netherlands. Many other countries have adapted me and began airing their own versions since 2011. I am a reality competition series. I am unique in that I focus on singing ability and prowess of an artist alone. My format has four stages of competition. One of the cornerstones of me is the social media participation via Twitter, Facebook and the especially designed platform "connect." Since my inception, I have produced 107 winners.(buzzcode and answer, or pass... you know the rest)

(#4 digitally spins to reveal....) ["COOL ECHO"]Johnny: (VO) And behind #4 we have headphones. Winner of the EISA Award, these reference-grade headphones are hand-assembled in Germany with an innovative transducer that yields the powerful bass response audiophiles expect while eschewing the sonic distortion typical of lesser models. The luxuriously plush circum-aural earpads are handcrafted from high-quality microfiber for comfortable, nearly imperceptible wear while the connecting headband incorporates a sonic damping element. From Hammacher Schlemmer.(cheers and applause) Greg: Those are very nice, and are worth $1,500. Where were the rest of the money cards tonight, Stace?

Stacey: The Wild Card was behind #5, the $15 behind #7, and the $25 was behind #9.
Greg: Thank you, Stacey. Well, we finish up the game with the Century Round. 10 questions, each one worth $10 plus or minus. May I get 10 questions on the clock, please?
Michael: $55 Jon: $110 Matt: $56
[10]
And it is Jon at $110, Matt at $56, and Michael at $55. If Jon wins, he could potentially have a choice of prizes. Matt has enough for the trip, but needs at least 5 more correct answers here to get the electric car. A lot to play for. Good luck as we begin the Century Round..... now.
1. What continent is part of both the eastern and western hemispheres? 2. What actress began life as Demetria Gene Guynes? 3. What Moonlighting star was her second husband? 4. What war gave the U.S. control over Guam, the Phillipines, and Puerto Rico? 5. What team won its 24th Stanley Cup in the 100th Anniversary year of the trophy? 6. What is the "e" short for in "e-mail"? 7. According to the proverb, "beggars can't be" what? 8. What test was introduced at the 1968 Olympic Winter Games in Grenoble? 9. What legendary bird was said to burn itself and rise from the ashes? 10. What sport is governed by the USGA?

We'll give you the money for that. Michael: $65 Jon: $150 Matt: $66
[2]
Reviewing the scores, Michael at $65, Matt at $66, but Jon at a whopping $150. I'm halfway tempted to throw the cards away, but that wouldn't be kosher. (time's up)But time's up and Jon is the winner! (win cue) (cheers and applause) (BGM music) First off, let's go over the incorrect answer. What continent is part of both the eastern and western hemispheres? Antarctica. That's what we were looking for. First off, Jon. Congratulations to you. That was a huge win and well deserved. We'll come back to you in a moment. Matt, you inherited quite a bit from Evan, who left us. You have $23,276 in cash (counting the $76 in front of you), a camcorder, a drone, and headphones. All together, you're leaving us with an impressive.... $29,915(cheers and applause) Not bad work for being an alternate, eh?

Not bad at all. Thank you for playing, Matt, and good luck to you. (cheers and applause)
Michael, you came in here and won yourself $65. That ought to cover your cable bill, I would think. We'll make sure to throw in some parting gifts as well, plus our thanks for playing. Good luck in finding a job. (cheers and applause)
But Jon Darrall takes the win tonight, and now, if you'll follow me, let's go shopping!
(1989-99 Let's Go Shopping cue plays as Jon gets up from his seat and joins me by the doors, which open to reveal the showroom) (cheers and applause)
Jon, that Random Cash in CashCard really helped you out. However, I'm sure millions of people watching want to find out your impressions of the game. What are they?

He doesn't want to share them. Fair enough. Jon, you won with $160. That's more than enough to buy this! (flute music from 1985) (a moon lowers as Shannon rides down on it, she's greeted by Mitch who hands her money) Johnny: (VO) Here's the shopping spree of the century! Indulge yourself with a fantasy trip to all of your favorite stores. Make your dreams come true! If you want it, it's yours! This luxurious treat normally priced at....$5,000Johnny: (VO) Yours on $ale of the Century for only....$85(cheers and applause) Greg: And what that amounts to, Jon, is if you say yes and give me $85, I will give you $5,000 in cash. Then, you would leave us. However, you're only $15 away from Zoltar, worth $9,000. You're only $100 and a win away from the trip to Dubai. But allow me to intrigue you further. For $335, or just another $175 and the win, you could take the electric car home with you. That's worth $36,000. Also, we have some bad news regarding one of the prizes. The 18K yellow gold oval cut emerald ring with sidestones worth $39,952 and priced at $445 is no longer available. So, should you decide to win on and buy that, you would get the value of the ring in cash. Of course, if you have trouble making up your mind, get to $750 and we'll give you all the prizes, plus this! (1982-99 Cash Jackpot cue plays as the Cash Jackpot sign lowers) Johnny: (VO) Tonight's $ale of the Century cash jackpot is worth.... $340,000(cheers and applause) Greg: That's a total of $549,830 in cash and prizes. And for $875, you'd get all the prizes, the cash jackpot, and this! William: Hi, I'm William Devane. Jon, for $875 you'll win not only the cash jackpot and all these prizes, but you'll also win half-a-million dollars in gold and silver from Rosland Capital. You'll get an entire collection of the finest gold and silver you can invest in, including....
100 troy ounce Royal Canadian Mint silver bars....
and South African Kugerrands. While the value of the US dollar drops, gold has long served as a hedge against inflation and has performed well in uncertain economic circumstances. This is your chance to cash in, and it can all be yours for just $875. Good luck, Jon.
(cheers and applause) $1,049,830Greg: That's worth $1,049,830 in total cash and prizes for just $875. Are you letting all of this sink in, Jon?

Yes, it does. But right now, let's look at the situation at hand. You have $160 in your bank, I have $5,000 in cold hard cash. You can either take the five-grand and run, or put your money in the bank, needing only $15 and the win for Zoltar and $100 and the win for the trip to Dubai. What will you do? We'll have your decision in a moment.
(drumroll as I lightly toss the $5,000 stack in my hand) (fade to commercial)
--------------------------
(fade in)
Jon Darrall, you have $160 in your bank. As I said before, I have $5,000 in cash. You can either take that money and leave, or play on and try to keep winning. If you play as well as you did tonight, you could have a choice of prizes tomorrow night. What is your decision?

(horn fanfare plays as we shake hands on it) Good choice, I say. Great choice. We'll add another $5,000 to the cash jackpot, it's up to $345,000. That is a lot of money. Will Jon go to Dubai? Find out tomorrow night. Two new challengers next time on $ale of the Century. Keep smiling, and bye for now! (I give the Dick Clark Salute) [MAIN THEME][CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]
