Status update to Matt, Nathan and friends of the show.
I am currently working on more visuals for this game, all the while juggling working 40 hours a week, household chores, throw in my son's high school bowling schedule, and a very busy upcoming weekend for yours truly as I will be donning my Santa suit on Saturday to play Santa for my one year old grand niece, and then this Sunday during the morning and early afternoon hours, 2 of my grand nephews and 2 of my grand nieces will come to visit us here and do the traditional annual gingerbread house decorating and gift exchange. We're providing breakfast for them as well, so super busy times to be sure, and I still have a bit of shopping to do, gifts to wrap, errands to run tomorrow after I am done work at 2pm, and also trying to keep going "Scrabble" and "Three on a Match".
Progress is somewhat slow for the Gambit PM revamp, but I am extremely eager and excited to debut it as soon as is humanly possible.
More to come...
Bill

While I am still working on some graphics, I feel confident enough that we can begin this new episode.
Would Matt Ringgenberg and Nathan Diniz please check in? If you both do before 2:30pm today, we can start this new episode this afternoon.
Thank you,
Bill

Frank Caliendo (as Kenny Williams): So far, champion Matt Ringgenberg has won cash and prizes totalling EIGHTY-THOUSAND FIVE-HUNDRED FIFTEEN DOLLARS! (Cheering & applause) picosong.com/wicm/Frank Caliendo (as Kenny Williams): Tonight, one of our contestants could win this new Cadillac, Frank Caliendo (as Kenny Williams): And more than FIFTY-THOUSAND DOLLARS in Cash! Frank Caliendo (as Kenny Williams): On GAMBIT… Frank Caliendo (as Kenny Williams): PM, A game of skill, fate and fortune. Frank Caliendo (as Kenny Williams): And now, from the Bob Barker Studio at CBS Television City in Hollywood, here's your Master of Ceremonies for this evening… Frank Caliendo (as Kenny Williams): Bill McDee! (Applause & cheering) That's yours truly! I thank you one and all and welcome to this very exciting edition of "Gambit PM". It's exciting for several reasons. For one, we are debuting some new features and some new rules to add to the strategy, or the gambit if you will, of our game play. If you saw our last show, we did a sneak preview of our new end game called "Beat the House" where indeed one of our players could win up to FIFTY-THOUSAND DOLLARS in CASH!!! (Applause) Our new Gambit Board features ten fantastic prizes, including that Cadillac that Frank mentioned moments ago. The winner of the match tonight will first go to the Gambit Board and will win not one but TWO grand prizes for winning the match. More about that later. Right now we want to welcome back our reigning champion, and is he ever reigning! Back from Council Bluffs, Iowa, with more than $80,000 in cash and prizes, give a warm Gambit PM welcome to Matt Ringgenberg! (cheering & applause) Matt, welcome back once again. I know you have participated in Special Olympics events and no doubt have taken some gold medals as a result. You've certainly taken the gold from us too, over 80 grand, and if it works out tonight, you could eclipse the $100,000 total in winnings! Good luck as you prepare to do that. First we need to bring out the lovely dealer of the cards here on Gambit PM, Manuela Arbelaez. (cheers & applause & some whistles too) Manuela: Good evening Bill, good evening Matt and thank you everyone! Happy Holidays! And Manuela, would you be so kind as to re-introduce to us Matt's challenger? picosong.com/q789/Manuela - Gladly Bill, please give a warm Gambit PM welcome back to Nathan Diniz! (applause) Manuela - Players, good evening and good luck! Nathan, welcome back to Gambit PM. You and Matt will be the first two players to compete under our new format. Before we do, won't you please remind everybody again about yourself Nathan?

Hello everyone! My name is Nathan Diniz. I currently live with my brother in a small town called Mobridge, which resides in South Dakota. I'm currently unemployed, but sometime after the new year, I intend to change that. I'm an avid lover of cats. I've been owned by 2 black cats, and by far, I think black cats are the sweetest. One who owned me was so affectionate that he gave a LOT of hugs. I'll say more about myself later.

Welcome back Nathan, and I'm sure if Mister Barker is watching us, he'll want me to ask you if your cats have been spayed or neutered. We know black cats love you, now we'll see if the game of BlackJACK loves you... Before we begin our best two out of three game match, we're introducing a brand new opening segment for our game, called "Beat the Dealer". Standard rules apply, Manuela must hit on 16 and anything below, and she must freeze on 17 or anything above. Manuela, please break the seal on that new deck of cards. The challenger always has the option to cut the cards. Nathan, if you wish to cut them, give me a number higher than 0 but lower than 52. If you wish not to cut them, we now give you that option as well, one of our new rule changes as proposed by our good friend and valued staffer L Lindquist Urban.

Very good an even-Steven cut. Keep in mind no money is paid for a tie, as you MUST "Beat" the dealer. Also, if Manuela deals herself a Blackjack, the hand will be over with instantly. We will play four hands, $100 for hand 1, $200 for hand 2, $300 and then $400. If you beat the dealer, and you have a score higher than your opponent, you will win extra money, $50 for this first hand. Our challenger will receive the first card... A 4, now Matt's first card... A five... Manuela's hole card... Next card for Nathan... Wow, lots of little cards here! Matt's next card... Wow! And Manuela's up card... Mercy me! Slim pickin's here!!! Nathan, you may freeze or take another card. What do you want to do?

(applause from the audience) They seem to think freezing is good, and I concur. Matt, you have 12, do you want another card or freeze and hope Manuela goes over?

Interesting decision. I might have frozen, but let's see... Nope! Right decision! A 9 gives you 21 Matt! Unless Manuela ties you, you will win $100 for beating her plus $50 for having the high hand. Nathan, if Manuela busts, you will win $100 also. What is her hole card? A ten of hearts, puts her at 14. She must draw again... TOO MUCH! Both players win! (applause) $100 for you Nathan since the Dealer went over, Matt $100 also plus $50 for having the high hand... Now onto the $200 hand, plus $100 if you beat the dealer and have the highest hand. First card for Nathan... An itty-bitty deuce. First card for Matt please... A nice start, a Jack! Now Manuela's hole card... next card for Nathan... 7 for a total of 9. Matt's next card... Ugh, a 3 for 13... And Manuela's up card this time... 7. Nathan, I'm guessing you'll want another card, yes?

(applause)... 18 is a very good hand. Let's see how it holds up. Matt, you're at 13, a rather vulnerable hand. Do you wish to freeze or have Manuela deal you the next card? You'll also want an eight or less if you do take another.

Hoping for an eight or less, Manuela? It's an EIGHT!!! (Cheers & applause)... If Manuela's hole card is a Ten, Jack, Queen or King, Nathan will add $200 to his score and Matt $300 to his score, $200 for beating Manuela and the $100 bonus for having the highest winning hand. It's a Jack! And a winner again for both players! (applause) Nathan to $300, Matt to $450. Manuela, please clear the board as we set up for the $300 hand, plus $150 for the Winning High Hand... And here is Nathan's first card for this hand... Oh that's a nice one!!! (Applause & cheering). And for Matt? A six, hmm... Hole card for Manuela... Nathan, here's hoping for a ten or a face card now... An eight isn't too bad! Nine or nineteen. Matt's next card please Manuela... An eight as well, giving you fourteen Matt. And Manuela, your up card please? A six, not a great card for her, thankfully! Nathan, do you want to freeze and call that 19, or take another card and call your hand nine?
