Luck perhaps, but also very good bidding and superb deciphering of the clues too. Let's hope you can decipher two more while using a maximum of six letters. Solve the first word and win $2,500. Solve the first and second word with using 6 letters total, and you will win another $11,000! (applause) Not only that, but if you win the Bonus Sprint, you will play the Jackpot tiles for a potential maximum payoff of $50,000!!! (oohs & ahhs) Otherwise, the Jackpot tiles will only be worth $5,000. First word, six letters... and the clue is... A famous Henry. You are allowed to solve it off of the clue after we pop in the first two letter choices for you. Keep in mind though, one error and the Sprint round ends instantly and the Jackpot Tiles game will only be worth 5 grand instead of a possible 50 thousand. If you choose one letter, we'll pop it up into the word, and then replace your chosen letter with another. Let's pop in the first two letter choices for you Steve, and there are no stoppers either, every letter is good. Good luck and.... Go!

This is for an additional $8,500 or a total of an eleven thousand dollar jackpot.....plus the right to play the Jackpot Tiles for up to $50,000 instead of just $5,000 And the clue is... Juliet was sometime seen hanging out there. You have three more letters you may place. Place all three of them before you solve this Steve. Ready... Go!

(return from commercial cue) Back here on Scrabble with a very fine and very wealthy champion, Steve Anderson, well over $40,000, but in the next few minutes you could more than DOUBLE your winnings playing our new and exciting Jackpot Tiles game. Before you are eleven numbered tiles. Attached to seven of those are the letters in the word "JACKPOT". One tile is a star, that's a wild card and you can play it anytime you wish. The other three tiles are the dreaded stoppers. If you can spell out JACKPOT before you uncover the third and final stopper, you will win $15,000 if the last letter placed is on a regular square, $20,000 on a blue square and $25,000 on a pink square. If you fill up the word JACKPOT with only 1 stopper pulled, the amounts are somewhat higher, as you can see by the chart. If you fill up the word JACKPOT without drawing a single stopper, and if your last letter placed is on the pink tile, you will win FIFTY-THOUSAND Dollars in cash!!! (Whooooooooahs in the audience). First of all Steve, you will get to pick where you want the blue and pink tiles placed on the slots. They are numbered 1 through 7. Please select two of those numbers and indicate which one you want as your blue tile, and which one you want as your pink.

So we're hoping the last letter you draw to complete the word will be the "T" today. Every time you place a letter, you are guaranteed to win some cash. Each of the letters has a cash award attached to it, ranging from $200 all the way up to $500. The cash award attached to the blue tile will be worth double, while the cash award attached to the pink tile will be tripled. Eleven numbered tiles for you Steve, please select one and we'll begin. Avoid those three stoppers if you possibly can, and the very best of luck to you!

Tile number 1 today is.... The K... The cash award attached to that K, which will be doubled since it's a blue tile is... $300, so you just won $600 for that pick. Go again Steve.
