1 score is 20, so 4 score and 7 is indeed 87! (applause) In Scrabble, the X is worth 8 points. The Z and Q are worth 10 each so right again! (applause) So $200 more for you Doug, and 2 cards. Lynn, deal up the first one please... (audience moans) Not such a good one there... For the record, Greg is indeed frozen on 15, we are in the midst of trying to find our freeze indicator, so kindly bear with us. Greg, the good news is the next card we give to Doug won't eliminate you from this match. Lynn, please... (scattered gasps, some moans, some light clapping)... Lots of iddy biddy cards in this match today, aren't there? Doug is inching his way toward victory perhaps. Doug, you must get this next question right to earn the next card. If that next card is a 9, 10, Jack, Queen, King or Ace, you'll become the new Gambit champion. Here's the question... True or False Doug..... a mule has a different number of chromosomes than a donkey.

A mule has 63 chromosomes and a donkey has... Just 62. (buzz) Greg Palmer remains the Gambit champion!!! picosong.com/3zeF/Back to talk with Greg in just a moment. Lynn, I'm sure the audience is curious. I know I am. What would have happened if Doug had answered "True" and gotten the question right? (audience moans for Doug) Oh wow. That would have meant a victory for Doug. Well, I must say this was a very thrilling and unusual match. No 21's were scored today, however Doug, for your valiant efforts, we're sending you home with some very nice parting gifts, as well as $1,300 in cash! Doug Morris everybody! (applause & cheers)... Greg, another $3,400 in cash, and in a moment, you'll be playing "Beat the Dealer" for a chance at perhaps tens of thousands of dollars more in cash, and quite possibly one MILLION dollars! Do stay tuned!!!

Ladies and gentlemen, this is the moment I've been waiting for. Greg Palmer, our two day champion, you had a really close call, a really narrow escape, guaranteed to make you and everybody else say "Whew!". However, you won't be facing a gauntlet of 10 villains. No sir. Instead you will be facing off against our lovely dealer Lynn Jennings, and a giant 21 numbered wall known affectionately as the Gambit Board. Let's do it!!! Frank, tell us what's up there today! www.fileswap.com/dl/7vgdIMa622/05_-_Contestant_Intro_2.mp3.html

FRANK (With Kenny Williams voice): A 21 in any combination will win today's Jackpot, which is worth $27,500. A Blackjack Bonus 21 today is worth... $100,000! One of the prizes today on the Gambit board is this.... New for 2015, it's the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray! (audience gasps, oohs & ahhs)... retail Value, $73,000!!!! Lots of other goodies hidden up on that board too Greg. Our 4 suit cards, each worth $1,000 in instant cash to you, plus $1,000 for every card in your hand that matches the suit. One card is a 500 times card, meaning if you select that, the next card you draw will be multiplied by $500, so a 7 would be worth $3,500 cash, a 10 or Face Card $5,000 cash, and an Ace $5,500. Two other cards are also cash cards, they are Mystery Money or Pick Again. Mystery Money can be worth anywhere from $300 up to $10,000. There's also a trip around the world up there, in two halves. If you get both halves and beat Lynn today, you'll take that luxurious vacation, valued at well over $38,000. Lots of other goodies and surprises up there including the dollar sign card. Greg, if your first selection is that dollar sign, the game ends and you will instantly win... ONE MILLION DOLLARS!!!!!!! (Cheers & applause galore) Oh yes! But beware, because somewhere lurking under these 21 numbers is a BUST card. Select that at any point during the game and it's all over for you. Lynn has for you a brand new freshly shuffled deck of 54 cards, a standard deck plus 2 jokers. Keep in mind Greg too, that you have 2 power chips today which you can use to refuse a card dealt to you by Lynn. Lynn hits on all 16's and below, and must stay on all 17's and higher. If you tie or beat the dealer, you get to keep all the cash and prizes you uncover from that Gambit Board. So Greg, after you give me a number higher than 0 and lower than 54 to represent how deep you wish to cut the deck, Lynn will deal 2 cards to herself, one face down, the "hole" card and the other card will be the up card. Then we will proceed in having you select numbers from the Gambit Board, okay?

Okey doke. Boy, that was a close one, Bill. I thought I was a goner for sure. Still, Doug played a great game.

That he did indeed Greg, as did you. Down one game to 0 and came back with 2 in a row, and with some so/so hands. Speaking of which, let's hope Lynn gets a so-so hand now... The hole card and a 4 of Hearts. So no matter what she has, she'll have to take another card, unless you go over 21 of course Greg. Speaking of 21, the Gambit Board awaits, select your first number 1 - 21 off of it please.

Let's hope it proves to be... Will this mean ONE MILLION DOLLARS??? Let's reveal number 7... Now! (clang) FRANK - From Shell, it's fifty $50 gas gift cards, able to be used at any Shell station across North America, from Shell, retail value $2,500. Let's hope you'll win that car in which to put that gas. First card please Lynn? Well what do you know, another 7. Greg you may keep that or use one of your 2 power chips. What's your pleasure?

Very well, 1 chip left, let's see your next card... (gasps & groans from the studio audience) Oh wow, a 4. Not too good. That would have gone quite nicely with that 7. One chip left Greg, do you wish to keep the 4 or chip it?

All out of chips now, so you'll be forced to keep the cards dealt to you from here on in. Lynn, he's really wanting an Ace I suspect. Let's see... (audience groans) Again with the 7! Wow... Incidentally Greg, before we continue, a few quick notes. One, the Blackjack Bonus is now out of play unfortunately. Second, I've been made aware that the Any 21 Jackpot should be at $25,000, not $27,500. Most importantly, one of the prizes on the board says "Every Prize on the board for Any 21". So if you select that obviously, you could win a bundle. That card applies only to any and all merchandise prizes, any trips on the board, and of course that gorgeous Corvette! You may select another number if you wish, keeping in mind if you uncover the BUSTED card, you'll lose the $2,500 gas card prize, or you can continue. If you freeze, we know Lynn will have to take at least 1 more card. What's your pleasure Greg?

And under #21 we find... (clang) An Emerald Bracelet! Frank? FRANK (As Kenny) : This never ending chain of alternating emeralds and princess-cut diamonds symbolizes your timeless love. Crafted in 18K yellow gold held in a prong setting this tennis bracelet has a total gem weight of 2.00 carats. A great way to honor your union. THREE-THOUSAND EIGHT-HUNDRED DOLLARS! An Emerald Bracelet, $2,500 in gas money and your next card, Lynn? (some groans from the audience) A 6, which you must keep. Now that gives you a 13 Greg. You can freeze or continue, what's your pleasure?

Freezing with 13. Let's see if this works out, hopefully it will Greg. First, Lynn, what was the dealer's hole card please? An itty bitty deuce.... Next card please....if it's an Ace, Greg will lose.... a 5! (audience moans) Now she has an 11. A 10 or Face card, or anything 6 or above will lose....next card please Lynn.... (audience gasps) 3 giving her 14, but she must hit until 17 or more... If this next card is an 8 or more, Greg wins.....let's see it!!! Are you KIDDING me?!?!?! (buzzer) And with an 18, Greg, I'm sorry, you did not beat the dealer today.... Let's see where some of the other major stuff was hidden on the Gambit Board.... Bust was behind 18, the dollar sign behind 9, car under 3, the 2 half trips around the world cards, and so on.... Audience I know how badly you feel. I feel badly too. Perhaps this will cheer you up. This, being Gambit's Sweet 16 episode, number 16 was not selected by Greg. Let's see what was under 16.... (clang) Ah ha....Frank? Frank - For every member of our studio audience, a $25 gift certificate for any and all products by Hershey, Hershey, America's favorite chocolate bar! And what's more, associated with that would have been a trip to Hershey, Pennsylvania. We are going to award that to an audience member right now. All of our studio audience members are holding envelopes. The one that contains the Jack of Hearts & Ace of Spades will win that trip. Open them now! (a scream from the audience) Come on up here ma'am if you please! What is your name? AUDIENCE MEMBER: I'm Mrs. Millicent Applebee. Mrs. Applebee, where are you from? AUDIENCE MEMBER: Believe it or not, I actually live in Hershey, Pennsylvania! OH NO!!! (audience roars in disbelief) Are you SERIOUS Mrs. Applebee? AUDIENCE MEMBER: I am indeed, sonny. Well my dear lady, you just won 2 tickets back home! LOL, Frank tell her about it please! FRANK: Mrs. Applebee, you and a guest will spend 4 nights at the Days Inn, Hershey, breakfast included as well as transportation to HersheyPark, the happiest place on Earth, all yours, courtesy of Gambit! (she gives me a peck on the cheek) Well what do you know? I got myself a Hershey Kiss!!! Wow, what a wild and wacky episode! We'll be back to recap things, right after I take a chocolate bar break! picosong.com/cThu/
