It's almost time to get on a roll once again. Bryan Law has one win and $96,550 in cash. We unintentionally short-changed Bryan by $50 in one of the playings of Lucky 7. This didn't affect the outcome of the match since he won both games therein. Now it's time to find Bryan's challenger. And for this qualifying round, for the first time here at NGC, we're playing... ...Classified Ad Price is Right! (TNPiR94 theme plays; audience cheers)What was the asking price for the item in the following online classified ad? Still, the player closest to the actual asking price, whether or not you overbid, gets to play Bryan.
"120 gallon portable diesel tank. Carrier attaches to truck receiver hitch or tractor three point hitch. Asking $..."
This game operates on 24-hour deadlines. Please PM me your answer in 24 hours from now. Please also be specific when PMing me that you're trying to qualify for On A Roll.

(time passes) Okay, the answers are in. The actual asking price of the portable diesel tank is.... (ding) ...$400. And -- nice call on TPiR's dollar sign, Wally. Who's the closest? $300 mringgenberg
Bryan Law and Matt Ringgenberg will get on a roll after station identification. Staff announcer: Get closer to what's happening in New England. (vamp to opening theme)Tiffany Phillips: At our dice table... ...uncover the clues to try and... ...solve a puzzle correctly and win the right to play... ...Lucky Seven. That's how you get... ...ON A ROLL! (opening theme plays; audience cheers) Joining us at the game board is Jeannette McCurrdy. Our dice girl for Game 1 is Kiersey Clemons. And here's our host, ready to get on a roll, Doug Morris!Doug: Thank you, Tiffany. Hellooo, everybody, and welcome to On A Roll. If you weren't with us on the last show, where were you? (scattered laughter from the crowd) Have you not heard of a DVR?!? (more laughter from the crowd) In any event, our new champion thwarted our previous champ's attempt at winning five straight matches. He's already a big winner. We'll meet him after we chat briefly with our guest models. I bet a lot of you remember Jeannette from "iCarly". (audience cheers) They do. Jeannette, welcome -- and please tell us about recent projects. Jeannette: Thank you, Doug. Great to be here. My acting pursuits have taken me to Canada where I'm on "Between" -- an amazing sci-fi show. And I've worked on the comedy "Little Bitches" with Kiersey. Doug: Can -- you say that on the air? (scattered laughter from the crowd) I guess you can. Kiersey I understand that -- show -- is not the only project you two have collaborated on. Kiersey: (laughs) Yes, I've played Jeannette's best friend on the online series "What's Next for Sarah?" I help her get through her struggles after show gets cancelled. Doug: Oh, that's never a pleasant feeling. If you're looking for a guest appearance from a game show host who's between shows -- (scattered laughter from the call) -- I know a few but I hope I'm not one of them. Ladies, great to have you here. And let's now welcome -- today's rollers. (theme plays; audience applause)Bryan Law and Matt Ringgenberg are with Kiersey and me at the dice table. Bryan -- who visits us from Columbus, Mississippi -- turns out we owe you an extra $50 and an apology. During the playing of one of our Lucky 7 games, we unintentionally short-changed you by $50. So you actually have $96,550. (audience cheers) While we regret the error, it didn't affect the scoring since he won both games on the last episode anyway. Now that you know you have an extra $50 in your pocket, Bryan, any plans for the loot you've already won?

Well, the extra $50 can be used for a tablespoon of gas. (scattered laughter from the crowd) Best of luck as you defend your crown for the first time.
Best of luck also to Matt Ringgenberg. Please tell us about yourself.

Ah, "The Simpsons" and "Peanuts" -- two long-running franchises where the children noticeably don't age. (scattered laughter from the crowd). I guess we could throw "Pokémon" into that mix as well. Bryan, Matt, best of luck. We're going to kick things off with this name game. (FF reveal sfx)Seven letters in this famous person's last name. I'll read a clue and then reveal three letters. First player to signal and correctly recognize the surname earns four rolls of the dice. Players, here's the clue. He got on a roll -- when he took Frasier Crane from a Boston bar to a Seattle radio show. (ding)
Bryan and Matt, please PM me your answer and a buzz code from 1-to-100.

44 bryan 96 mringgenberg 16 random.org (Bryan buzzes in)Bryan? Bryan: Grammer (dings; audience applause)Kelsey Grammer -- hearing that music calling -- tossed salads and scrambled eggs. Brian, please step into the box. Four rolls of the dice are yours as we load up the game board. (FF reveal sfx; Jeannette poses by numbered and blocked spaces) And we have a three-word clue in the top row -- notice I said "top row" -- (scattered laughter from the crowd) -- a one-word clue in the middle row and a one-word clue in the bottom row. Bryan, you'll uncover as many of those letters as you can -- with the numbers and sums that you roll throughout this round. The letters that are blocked by question marks stay blocked until you correctly solve a clue. As always, please be careful and do *not* roll doubles. If you throw doubles, Matt takes command of the round, the remaining rolls and a free letter along the way. (Kiersey hands Bryan the dice) Thank you, Kiersey. Bryan, you have the rules and the dice. So -- you -- are on a roll. (Bryan rolls)And you start off with a 3 and a 6. This means you may take any 3 and any 6 off the board -- and you don't have to play the numbers on the same row -- or you may play the sum and take any 9.

Starting at the top row with... (Jeannette touches screen) ...a T and... (Jeannette touches screen) ...a B. Bryan, you may guess the clue in the top row or roll again. Anytime, players, you're wrong about a guess of the clue or the overall puzzle, there's no penalty and you're still on a roll -- provided there's at least one roll remaining in a round.

(TPiR Pathfinder wrong move sfx)(scattered laughter from the crowd) Not quite as funny as that diabolical guess from earlier. But that's not it. Good news is you're still allowed to take the last roll of the round. Matt wants you to throw doubles. (Bryan rolls)But you don't. Another Lawrence Welk roll -- a 1 and a 2... ...or a 3. No matter how you play it, you'll have to play at least one of the other rows. How do you play it?

Middle row's first two letters are... (Jeanette touches screen) ...a V and... (Jeanette touches screen) ...an E. Bryan, that was the last roll of the round. You may guess the middle clue if you'd like. If you're right, you'll have a chance to win. If you're wrong or want to pass, Matt's back in business and you both play a name game.

(dings; audience applause) That's it. Now, Bryan, you have a chance to win the first game in this match. Based on that clue in the middle, what's the solution to our puzzle? If you're wrong, we move on to a name game -- but a right guess to the puzzle takes you to Lucky 7 and the car game.

Well, let's see how right you were on the rest of the clues. (FF reveal sfx) Ah, eaten by *Bugs*, across the top row -- as in Bugs Bunny, not insects. And indeed they are orange. (Kiersey places dice near Matt's buzzer) Another game won by Bryan. Matt, he's tough. What can I tell you? I will tell you that you'll have a chance to make a comeback in the next game. Right now, Kiersey's going to walk you to the most comfortable chair in all of the building. We'll see you back here for Game 2, Matt Rinngenberg. (audience cheers) (Kiersey and Matt walk stage right) Bryan, another money roll. For winning your first game of this match, this money roll is for $5000 a point. Doubles are okay on the money roll. That means if you roll double sixes, you're playing Lucky 7 for up to $60,000. (audience cheers) So -- please pick up the dice and give 'em a roll. (Bryan rolls) (audience cheers) Roll totals 6 -- times $5000. Bryan's playing a $30,000 game of Lucky 7 -- when you come back to the dice table. (theme plays; audience cheers) (theme plays)

Bryan Law is on a roll in more ways than one. Ever since he first came to the dice table, he's played three games and he's won three games. Bryan, this means for the third time in a row, you're going to try to win big money -- with help from -- Wally! Wally, what'cha got for us on this hump day? (audience laughs) iWally. Clever. If only our programmers had the foresight to allow for lowercase letters on your display. Wally, may we have the numbers for the Lucky 7 game, please? (FF reveal sfx)Thank you. Bryan, by now, you know how this works. For those who don't, to win the big money, Bryan must eliminate those numbers, 4 through 10 inclusive, by rolling our dice. Anytime the sum of his roll matches one of those numbers, that number disappears and he will score $500. If he repeats one of those sums, no penalty; that repeat is worth $50 and he's still on a roll. Any roll of 3 or 11 is wild. Bryan, that gives you the power to eliminate one of the remaining numbers *or* take a token for the car game. For solving the puzzle earlier, you already have earned... (ding)...one token. And since you won the previous main game with just one clue fully exposed, that entitles you to a second car token. (ding)As you get on a roll, you're allowed to collect a maximum of four tokens. When you get down to one number on the board, Wally will then give you five tries to match that last number -- and it has to be done naturally. If you can eliminate all seven numbers, your winnings in Lucky 7 will be augmented to -- how much?
