I will allow until 1:30pm EST today (Monday). If Jon does not make another selection, I will request someone to pinch hit for him until he is able to return.
The first person to express interest in doing so will be "on call". If anybody is interested in taking over for Jon until he is able to return, please let me know as soon as possible.
Thank you, and Jon, I hope everything is alright with you and yours.
Bill

30 on the Red... (flip) Wow! (applause) Yet another match! Our players are 4 for 4 at the big board today! Another $500 for finding a match in just 5 picks Jon, and just like that, you're at $1,900. Matt's still had $2,100. Greg has yet to score, however it is half time, we're going to head into the tunnel, give Greg a half time pep talk, and when we return, we'll see if we can't finally give away that $5,000 bonus playing our BIG MATCH board! Stay tuned! (studio is quiet)

FRANK CALIENDO - In his own voice... Departing contestants will receive From Hamilton Beach, the Set 'N Forget slow cooker. Ideal for Thanksgiving and other holiday meals, as well as for summer cookouts, the Set 'N Forget from Hamilton Beach, plus... From the Bicycle Playing Card Company, a $250 gift certificate and a catalog of various merchandise including novelty jumbo decks, poker chips, dice, and of course Rummy, Pinochle and standard Poker decks of cards, from Bicycle, and... From Home Decorators, a beautiful area rug plus wall coverings. For more visit homedecorators.com, plus... A cookbook and a $100 gift certificate from Chic Fil A. Eat Mor Chiken. A member of our studio audience will receive a handsome digital clock/radio from Radio Shack. All contestants appearing also receive from Milton Bradley the home version of "Three on a Match". And now once again... Bill McDee! (applause) Thanks kindly Frank. We're now at the half way point of our game, but before we continue our regular game, it's time for our half-time feature, the BIG MATCH, where one of our three distinguished panelists could earn for themselves a nice $5,000 cash bonus, not affecting the score of the main game. Up on our board, hidden somewhere are two halves of a $5,000 bill. Our players will take turns selecting boxes. The moment one of them uncovers either the front or the back half of the $5,000 bill, that player will become the only one eligible to win the other half. To assist said player in winning the $5,000, if and when they uncover the first half, all but three boxes will be exposed, giving that player a 1 in 3 shot at winning the $5,000. Matt will select first, then Jon, then Greg. If all 3 players uncover a picture of an empty safe, we'll do it again, with Jon going first, then Greg, then Matt. If all 3 of them uncover 3 more empty safes, we'll then do one more round with Greg going first, then Matt, and finally Jon. Matt, you are seated at position #1, so you get to make the first selection. Players will only make one selection now since if one half of the $5,000 bill is exposed, the board will need to be reset to where only 3 boxes remain. Which box do you select Matt?

30 on the blue... (flip) (Audience takes a big gasp) Well, Matt wants to waste NO time here on this. As I stated, the first player to uncover either half of the $5,000 bill will get one more pick, and it will now be a 1 out of 3 chance. First, let's reveal 8 of the boxes that have the empty safes... (multiple flipping sounds) Matt, either 20 on the red, 30 on the green, or 40 on the yellow contains the first half of that $5,000 bill. You have 1 more pick only to find it. If you do, you will win $5,000 in instant cash. If it's an empty safe, then we'll all feel pretty badly for you about it. Matt, for $5,000, which box has the front half of that bill?

For $5,000!!! (flip) (moans from the audience) That's a bummer. Where was it? (flip) 40 on the Yellow. Well, okay, in week #1 we didn't give away the $5,000, but we'll feature it again on episode #6, and who knows...that just might be the day it happens... This segment we will play Rounds 5 and 6. Players, the one of you who has the lowest score at the end of Round 6 gets to keep all your money, but will be eliminated from the rest of the game. Furthermore, since all three of you already have 1 loss, this will truly be the end. Greg, the good news is the dollar values are doubled in this round, so one instant match can be worth up to $1,500 at the big board. What's more, we now have the DOUBLE YOUR DOLLARS cards on the matching board, and if you match those 3 on your first 3 picks, you get double, or $3,000, so one match could change things in a hurry. The Jackpot question is reset to $500 since Jon hit it in Round 4. The Jackpot question will now increase by $100 each time it is not won. Let's see the codes, and who will get to go to the category board. Greg really wants and needs it... Greg, that half time pep talk seemed to help, you're the closest. Top, Middle or Bottom?

College Football is the category, appropriately enough, considering the season is starting. Here's the question for you Greg, for some money and that all important and needed trip to the matching board... He went from coaching in the NCAA flying with Ducks at Oregon to soaring in the National Football League with Eagles in Philadelphia. What is the last name of the Eagles' current head coach?

Jon, you were next closest with the code. Do you want to answer this question, or would you prefer to see what category is lurking under the MIDDLE or the BOTTOM instead?

And I'll say you are correct! (applause) $200 for that right answer, and now we have a tie! Jon, with a match, you can break that tie. The board is yours, select your first 2 boxes please. I realize there may be a delay as you said you'll be traveling this weekend.

30 on the Blue... (flip) 7 picks this time... (flip) Nice start with a Double Your Dollars card.... and now 20 on the Green... (flip) (audience gasps) Jon, we know there is a Double Your Dollars card somewhere in column 40. If you elect try to find it right now, and you succeed, this will be a $3,000 match for you! Where to?

If you match this, you not only win another $3,000 Jon, but you are most assuredly guaranteed to make it into Round 7 of our game, as only the top 2 scorers get to do so.... 40 on the Red... (flip) My goodness! (applause) Even though that last one still has an orange background, that's a $3,000 match Jon! Very well done sir! That puts some pressure on Matt, and it really puts the pressure on Greg big time here. Greg, you're going to need to score at least $2,100 in this round 6 alone in order to have any chance now. First things first, Greg really REALLY needs control of the question board. Let's check to see what the codes are and who came closest... Greg is closest once again. I hope this category you select will prove more favorable to you. Top, Middle or Bottom Greg?

Middle it is... Out of this World is the category. Let's see what this is about... In the Fall of 1978, ABC Television debuted a "Happy Days" spinoff series entitled "Mork & Mindy". The stars of the new series were two virtual unknowns. The actor on the right is the late, great, Robin Williams. For some money and all important and needed control of the matching board Greg, tell me the last name of the actress on the left.
