If we can't get a 9th celebrity, we could always try my "Opponent's Choice" idea, making that top center box one where, if the X player picks it, the O player decides which celebrity the question goes to. Ideally the strategy would be the O player would want to pick the celebrity he believes is the most likely to bluff his opponent. It could even be used on occasion as the secret square.
