Moving Kevin's freeze bar and now has a one card advantage over Bill. One more card and he'll win the first game of the match as we go now to question three. *grabs card* Kevin... this question is for you and it involves 10 zoo keepers. Ladies and gents, please come on over to the Contestants' Row area. [CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]*10 zoo keepers walk to the area* Now Kevin... we've asked 10 zoo keepers about this question... If you could cut your fuel bill in half by switching to elephant-dung fuel, would you?How many of them say they would switch gasoline to elephant-dung fuel?

I'm sure some of these zookeepers are environmentally conscious given that they work with animals on a daily basis. However, I suppose they wouldn't want to use a fuel source that's not only outdated but would stink up the place. However, I think six of them would want to do that.

[DING]Six of them say they would switch gasoline to elephant-dung fuel. Higher or lower, Bill...?

Well, in spite of what the mainstream media would lead us to believe about the economy being great again, I have no doubt that more than six people would be willing to do this to cut their energy bills in half. Some energy bills per month are $400, $500 or more. Money talks. Definitely higher than 6.

[DING]For those of you folks at home watching this, please feel free to play along with us. Kevin says 6 and Bill says higher... the actual number of zoo keepers say they would switch gasoline to elephant-dung fuel is-- [DING-DING-DING, APPLAUSE]Seven. Bill's right... it is higher... by one. Hey George... how was your experience as a zoo keeper when visiting the San Diego Zoo?

(shot of George in the booth)
George: Oh, it was fantastic, Tony. I got to walk both a cheetah and a dog around the zoo. Why? Dogs are naturally comfortable with people, even those they don’t know. Cheetahs are quite a bit more cautious and wary of new situations; having a dog buddy to show them that everything is okay—and even fun—helps the cat feel comfortable and relaxed. The dog’s body language communicates that there’s nothing to fear, which relaxes and calms the cheetah’s flight tendencies. So, it was cool.

Tony: I'm glad that you had a great time visiting the Zoo, George. And to the zoo keepers who have met our announcer George... thank you all. Please return to your seats. Give it up one more time for the San Diego Zoo's zoo keepers... [CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]Bill... do you want that 9 or change it?

Let's change the 9 please, Tony.

Lower than a King... [DING-DING-DING, APPLAUSE]It's a trip to Dallas! If you win this or the next round, Bill, you'll be going on a trip deep in the heart of Texas. Sammi will now place it in your prize column while Jenna hands me a replacement card. Ready to try on that King again?

Bill is taking that risk. If it's higher, you win the first game of the match. Higher than a 6...? [BUZZER, AUDIENCE GROANS]No... it's a 5. Kevin... you have a free chance to call on your 7. One stipulation-- You cannot change your 7 since you didn't win the question.

If it's higher, you'll win the first game of the match. Is it higher...? [BUZZER, AUDIENCE GROANING CONTINUES]It's a 2. Both players haven't advanced. Kevin needs one card and Bill needs just two. *grabs card* Fourth and final question in the first round mean it's time to play... Audience: Sudden Death! [APPLAUSE]Tony: That's right, folks... it is Sudden Death time. Someone's gonna win it on the next play of the cards. Bill... we've asked 100 single women-- When you say "no" to a man's romantic advances, do you hope he'll keep trying? How many of them say yes... the men will keep trying their romantic advances?
Post by billmcdee on May 30, 2016 7:32:29 GMT -5
Wow that's a tough one, especially since I'm not sure how young or old these women polled were.
Some seem to like to "play" hard to get, others when they say "no" truly mean "no". Probably children of the 80's during Nancy Reagan's Just Say No campaign.
I think it's a pretty low number though, I'll estimate, only 18 are hoping the guy will keep trying.

[DING]18 out of 100 say their men will keep trying their romantic advances. What say you, Kevin... higher or lower?
Post by koopakid17 on May 30, 2016 10:59:42 GMT -5
I'm in the same boat as Bill, that's a hard one for me to figure out. Of course, there are some men who will keep trying but in this day and age, they might respect women more. However, I think it will be a little higher than 18.
Post by tmann3x on May 30, 2016 19:42:08 GMT -5
[DING]This will determine control of the cards. Bill says 18 and Kevin says it's higher... The actual number of single women say their men will keep trying their romantic advances is-- [DING-DING-DING, APPLAUSE]6. Not higher... it is lower. Bill gets control of the cards. Bill... you have a King and need two cards for the first round win including a trip to Dallas. Kevin has a 7 and needs only one. You have a decision to make... do you want to play on your King pass it to Kevin and must play on his 7?
Post by billmcdee on May 31, 2016 11:02:05 GMT -5
I'll play it, and keep the King and predict the next card to be lower Tony.
