Here is number 11... Great! Another $500 money card, giving you $1,600 now... Here's hoping for a spade... No, it's the Queen of Diamonds... Kevin, this is your last pick before the BUST card gets put on that board. Hope you find something you want. What number please?

Last number on the board... Well, kind of a bad news/good news/bad news scenario here. First of all, no money card there, however it is the King of Diamonds, giving you 3/5th of a Royal Flush in Diamonds now... However, that was your 7th pick. You still have another 7 that you may be able to take, however, we have replaced one of the remaining cards up there with a BUST card. If you select that, you will lose the $1,600. You can quit and take $1,600 or continue. If you quit however, you won't get to play for the car, since in order to qualify to play for the car, you must get a Royal Flush. What do you say Kevin?

Let's hope for something good here... $400 more, now you have $2,000. What is Kevin's next card please? The 10 of Hearts... Kevin, you are still, at the very least, two cards shy from completing a Royal Flush, specifically in Diamonds. $2,000 you have now as a sure thing. You can quit and take that, or gamble and select another number. You still have six picks left in your arsenal. What do you want to do?

Anything but a BUST card please... Another $550 money card, and the card attached to it, let's hope for a Spade or Diamond... The King of Hearts... $2,550 at stake. 5 picks remaining, odds are 10 to 1 in your favor of not selecting the BUST card Kevin. What now?

Here is number 8... Great! Another money card, and a big one at that! $700. What card is under that please? The Jack of Clubs this time...well Kevin, you're not making much headway with your Trump Suit, however, you do have 3/5ths of a Royal Flush working for you in each of the other three suits... Four picks remain to you if you wish to use them, or you can quit right now and take $3,250. What do you want to do?

Number 5... OH NO!!!!!!!! (Groans in the audience)... Ouch! And with that, the Royal Flush round has been abdicated... Terribly sorry about that Kevin. Let's reveal the other cards please... The Queen of Spades was where the BUST card now is, so the Trump Suit unfortunately was not happening. However, not all is lost, you still have your front game winnings, and you will now play the PAY CARDS EXTRA for a chance at up to $5,000 in cash... (BLING) 8 cards on the board now. Behind three of them are the letters W, I and N. Find all three and you will win $5,000. Hidden behind four of the cards are money cards, $250, $500, $750 and $1,000. You may quit at any time and take any money you have since one of those cards is a BUST. Let's try to win $5,000 here Kevin. Select a number you believe has a W, I or N.

$250. You can quit and take that or risk it and pick again. 3 cards have letters, 3 more are money, and 1 says BUST.

As I recall, 5 burned you last time. Surely it won't again, will it? (applause) No it won't! And I will stop calling you "Shirley". Kevin, if you can discover the W and the I before the BUST and you'll win $5,000. As it is, you have $1,000 guaranteed if you wish to stop the game.

5, 6, pick up sticks... OH NO!!!!!!!! Not again! Although this is a casino style game, these are NOT the type of busts one wants to see! Kevin, I am sorry once again. Let's reveal the rest... Oops, there's a blooper on the board, the W was with number 3, as 4 was a $750 money card. 2 had the I. www.televisiontunes.com/Headline_Chasers_-_Ending.htmlWe'll take one more time out, come back with a re-cap and a very special announcement. Stay tuned!

Well Kevin, unfortunately neither end game panned out for you, however you do still have your front game winnings of $2,750! (applause) I hope you had fun. Folks I hope you had fun viewing Pay Cards. It was indeed a treat to present it to you. This however is the last episode, at least for now, in this Pay Cards series. That's the bad/sad news, unless of course you either dislike this show or don't watch it, in which case it's good news or no news. (Chuckling as does the audience) The good news, I will be back at the helm of another card game, the return of Gambit PM on CBS. Kevin, at this time you are invited to join me and a challenger who is already waiting in the wings. We tape Pay Cards in New York, while Gambit is in Hollywood, so we will provide you with transportation expenses as well Kevin! Hope to see you there. And I hope to see all of you there too. So for the last time, for now anyway... www.televisiontunes.com/Headline_Chasers_-_Ending.htmlBill McDee saying here's hoping life always deals you a winning hand! Thank you for joining us here on Pay Cards! So long! From the Art James studio at MetroMedia Studios, New York... This is Scott Shannon speaking for Pay Cards! Very interesting to watch. By the way is that the pay cards extra format you are going to use if someone goes for the car. Just wondering cause episode 2's version was different

Correct, and very observant. Indeed the "Extra" game is different in episode 3 than 2.
Thanks kindly for both watching and commenting!
