Let's see, is it under #5? IT IS!!!!!!! (Screams and cheers from the audience)... WOW!!! By far, the most exciting, back and forth hand played thus far here during this current series of Pay Cards! First, let's show you what the other cards were... Number 4 had... The 2 of hearts, so four of a kind was possible that way too... Number 6... The 5 of Clubs, and finally, old number 14... That's where the Bonus Card was, but it wasn't going to be helpful to Kevin as the card attached to it was... The Queen of Spades... A very well played and most exciting round by both players. Darion, with a Full House, that pays $500! (applause) A pretty hearty start to today's match, however, Kevin over there, with four sevens... That pays $1,000, plus a High Hand bonus of $250... Kevin leads with $1,250, with Darion at $500! (applause) We'll get a fresh deck of 16 cards up on our board, and have Kevin start our 2nd Strategy Round...right after these words of interest! www.televisiontunes.com/Headline_Chasers_-_Ending.html(applause)

All contestants plus selected members of our studio audience will receive the home version of Pay Cards, hours of fun for you and the family, courtesy of Pressman Games... And now, back with more Pay Cards, the winner of the 2016 Net Game Award for best host, Bill McDee! (applause) Scott Shannon, you're the first MAN who has ever made me blush! I really and genuinely appreciate it. Indeed it was an honor to be nominated, and to even be mentioned in the same breath as Greg Palmer, Tony Lane and last year's winner, Doug Morris. Speaking of winning, we have a lot of winning going on here right now with more to come! Kevin has $1,250 and Darion has $500. Gentlemen, this is the 2nd of our 2 Strategy rounds. Kevin will start us off this time, but only after we reveal three cards of our 16 card deck... Number 4 has the King of Clubs... Number 13 has the Jack of Diamonds... And the 9 of Clubs under sweet 16... A couple reminders, no straights, no flushes, there are two sets of 4 of a kind on the board, 1 set which is 3 of a kind, 2 sets which are pairs and 1 single card. Bonus card is attached to one of the remaining 13 unrevealed cards. If you get that and win the High Hand bonus, you'll get to pick for an added bonus as well. Kevin, you get to start us off this time by selecting 2 more cards.

(applause) In the first round Kevin had four sevens, which rhyme with Kevin. Now he has two Kings, K for Kevin, K for Kings... Darion, he's very tough competition. Let's see what you can uncover now. Two numbers please.

And number 1 has... Bonus card! (applause) And behind that bonus is... The 9 of hearts, and number 9, speaking of nines... Oh my! The King of Hearts. Darion, several ways you could play this. You get to take 2 cards of the 5 that are face up. Which 2 do you want?

(applause) The audience seems to agree. And of course IF you end up with high hand Darion, not only will you get $250 for that, but you'll get an added bonus too, since you have the bonus card on your side of the ledger... Kevin, we're back to you now, two more numbers please.

Very well, number 3 has... The Ace of Spades, and number 12... The 9 of Spades. Alright Kevin, 5 cards are face up. Which 2 do you wish to take?

I think you may have this hand.

(applause) Now only did you help yourself Kevin, but you took away a valuable 9 from Darion, which was a very smart move, hence why we call this "Strategy". Darion, don't concede yet, you could still maybe end up with a full house and get high hand yet. Select 2 more numbers please.

Number 8 has the King of Spades! Oh my! And number 11... The Ace of Diamonds. Quite a dilemma there Darion. Which 2 cards do you wish to keep?

I will have to take the King of Spades and the Ace of Spades.

(applause) That disrupts Kevin's shot at 4 of a kind... Had to play some defense there Darion since you can't stop him from winning the hand, but you can still hope to contain him. Unfortunately no bonus for you this round, but there's still a lot of game remaining. Kevin, you get to select one more card, then take one card. Trying for a Full House since 4 Kings cannot happen now. Could prove hard given three 9's are already out of play too. Might be a 4th 9 up there, but I don't know for sure... Pick a number please Kevin.

I'll take the Ace.

Again, sound strategy, preventing Darion from getting that Ace for himself to make 2 pairs. Darion, the last pick is yours. Trying for 2 pairs or 3 of a kind possibly. Select one number please.

And with number 15 we have... Hoping for a nine... No, it's the 6 of hearts I'm afraid Darion... The best remaining card available on the board is the Jack of Diamonds, so we'll put that into your hand... And once more we recap. Another very unusual round, both players having to fence and parry... Darion, just a pair of 9's this time, but that does score you another $100... Brings your total so far for today's game to $600. Kevin, 3 Kings, a mighty good start for you in the round, but then nothing more, but $250 for 3 of a kind plus $250 for high hand, so Kevin now has... $1,750 (applause) www.televisiontunes.com/Headline_Chasers_-_Ending.htmlLet's see what the other cards were... Number 2 had... The 4 of Diamonds, and number 5... The 6 of Clubs, and finally 14... Was the 6 of Hearts. Darion, unfortunately no more 9's up there, but wow, four 4's! And even though Kevin has a lead more than $1,000 over Darion, it's far from over gang! Round 3, the Give or Take Round, which is also our Wild Card round is coming up! So go and get yourself some more cheese dip, and we'll return in just a few moments! Please stay tuned... (applause)

www.televisiontunes.com/Headline_Chasers_-_Ending.htmlScott Shannon: And now back with Pay Cards! and Round 3...it's Bill McDee! (applause) That's me! Welcome back to Round 3 here on Pay Cards. Two very good card players here with us. Darion Daniel is here for his third show but has come up against some very stiff competition in challenger Kevin Kolsen... Kevin has $1,750, Darion $600. That's yours to keep of course, however, the one of you two players who is in the lead at the end of this final pivotal round will win the day, and go on to play for a chance at a possible $50,000 in our Royal Flush round! (cheering & applause) The payouts in this round are doubled: $200 for a pair, $500 for three of a kind, a full house scores $1,000, four of a kind is worth $2,000, the high hand bonus is $500 this time, and since this is our wild card hand, 5 of a kind is quite possible for both of you to get, and that is worth a massive $3,000! We play this round a little bit differently. 16 cards as before, but now, we do not reveal any of them. This round, the champion always begins. Darion, I'll ask you to select a number, then I will ask if you wish to take the card you uncovered, or give it to your opponent. If you give it to your opponent Darion, you will pick again, and the next card you pick you have to keep. Then Kevin will get a turn to do the same thing. We'll go back and forth that way throughout the round. Keep in mind, once one player completes his hand, the other player must do so immediately. One set of 4 of a kind up there, two sets of 3 of a kind, 1 pair up there, 1 single card and three wild cards as well shuffled and hidden up there some place. Darion, please select a number, and good luck to you both.
