Let's see if you can get a better card. What is it, Amber?
(Q ♥)
It's a Queen! Is the next card higher or lower?

Lower!

Post by Bill Skinner on Mar 26, 2016 12:58:56 GMT -5
I think that's a safe bet. Is it lower?
(J ♣)
ding!
Yes, and now you're one card away from the Money Cards round. Will you continue or freeze?

I'll go for it! Lower!

As long as it's not an Ace, King, Queen or another Jack, you will be the new champ. For the win, is it lower?
(9 ♣)
ding-ding-ding!
(1978 CS Win Cue)
You got it, and you have another $1,000 guaranteed cash in your pocket, for a total of $2,000. You will play the Money Cards in a moment, but first, we have to say goodbye to mringgenberg, who won $5,300 on our show, but could not defend his championship against koopakid17. You've been a great contestant, and hopefully, we will see you again soon. (1978 CS Theme) Alright koopakid17, we're going to let you go for the big bucks in the Money Cards round, where thousands of dollars can be won. How many? Find out after this.

Welcome back to Card Sharks, where our new champion, koopakid17, will now play the Money Cards round. The first card in the first row will be worth $500, and you can change the base card on each row if you're not too sure. If you bust on the first row, you can continue to the second row with $1,000 for the first card on that row. If you bust there or in the Big Bet, the round will end, but you still get to keep $2,000 from the main game, and you will come back to face a new challenger on the next show. In the Big Bet, you must bet at least half of what you have at that point. Now, if you're ready, we will show you the first card.
(10 ♥)
It's a 10! Would you like to play it now or change it?

I'll change the ten.

And let's see what the 10 becomes.
(A ⋄)
It's an Ace! You have $500 to start with, and what's your call on that?

|
|

All of it lower!

Post by Bill Skinner on Mar 30, 2016 9:55:46 GMT -5
For $1,000, is it lower than an Ace?
(4 ⋄)
ding!
Yes, it's a 4! What's your next bet?

|
|
Post by koopakid17 on Mar 30, 2016 21:11:00 GMT -5
$800 higher!

Post by Bill Skinner on Mar 31, 2016 9:35:41 GMT -5
Higher than a 4?
(6 ♥)
ding!
Yes, it's a 6! You now have $1,800 to work with.

$900 higher.

For $2,700, we're looking for something higher than a 6. Flip it!
(8 ♥)
ding!
Yes, it is an 8, and we move that to the second row, plus you get $1,000 more, for a total of $3,700 to bet. Now, would you like to play the 8 or change it?

|
|
Post by koopakid17 on Apr 1, 2016 11:28:44 GMT -5
Change that eight!
|
|
|
Post by Bill Skinner on Apr 1, 2016 11:32:08 GMT -5
Alright, let's see what that 8 becomes.
(2 ⋄)
Hey, it's a 2! Bet on it now!

Yes! All of it higher!

Post by Bill Skinner on Apr 1, 2016 11:35:15 GMT -5
As long as it's not another 2, you will double your money. Otherwise, you bust, and the game will end. Now, is it higher than a 2?
(J ♠)
ding!
Yes, and the $3,700 you had is now $7,400! What's your next bet?
|
|
|
Post by koopakid17 on Apr 1, 2016 11:48:47 GMT -5
$5,000 lower.

Post by Bill Skinner on Apr 1, 2016 11:52:38 GMT -5
For $12,400, is it lower than a Jack?
(10 ⋄)
ding!
You're doing good so far. Now what's your call on that?
|
|
|
Post by koopakid17 on Apr 1, 2016 12:16:53 GMT -5
$5,000 lower.

Post by Bill Skinner on Apr 1, 2016 12:42:27 GMT -5
This is for $17,400 going into the Big Bet. Is it lower than a 10?
(7 ♠)
ding!
Yes, it's a 7, and we move that up to the last row. Now, before you make your decision here, I must remind you that you have to bet at least half of your bank, which means that the minimum bet is $8,700. And you can change the 7 if you're not too sure about it. What would you like to do?
|
|
|
Post by koopakid17 on Apr 1, 2016 19:02:53 GMT -5
Let's change the 7!
|
|
|
Post by Bill Skinner on Apr 2, 2016 10:53:21 GMT -5
And change the 7 we shall! What is the new card?
(2 ♣)
Wow, another 2! Remember, you must bet at least $8,700 on this final card, so what is your call on it?
|
|
|
Post by koopakid17 on Apr 2, 2016 12:17:42 GMT -5
There we go! All of it higher!
|
|
|
Post by Bill Skinner on Apr 2, 2016 12:57:25 GMT -5
Well, the consolation is that you will not bust if you get another 2. Any other card, and you double your money. What is it?
(8 ⋄)
ding-ding-ding!
(1978 CS Win Cue)
It's an 8, and you end the show with $34,800, and when we add $2,000 to that, that takes you up to $36,800, and you'll be back again to take on a new contestant. (1978 CS Theme) Congratulations, koopakid17, on a job well done! For now, this is Bill Skinner saying thanks for watching another edition of Card Sharks, and we'll see you next time. So long, everybody!
