The next roll of 7 by you Kevin will forfeit the pot, and give James a chance to steal it, or possibly double it and steal it away. If you bank the $350, James would need to roll at least an 8 in the Catch-Up round. If James rolls 7 in the Catch-Up round, that would not score any dollars. Do you want to try to build up that pot and thus your lead, or bank it and see if James can catch up? |

James, under the rules of our game, you do get one chance to catch up here in the catch-up round. The only way you can possibly catch up at this point is by rolling doubles. Even if you rolled a double 6, for a total of 12, that would only bring you up to $1,100 and you'd fall short of tying Kevin or taking the lead. You must roll doubles and you then must select one of the 9 monitors from the Double Decisions board and hope you uncover something that would either put you ahead of Kevin, or afford you an additional roll of the dice. James, first things first, select a number higher than 0 but lower than 37, and hope for a double. Otherwise, Kevin will be crowned our first Hot Dice champion of this new series. |
