Hamilton Burger, as we noted earlier, was a district attorney in the "Perry Mason" television series -- as well as the books the show was based on. A fast food restaurant is Burger King. A legendary character is King Midas. His Midas touch turned everything to gold. A type of landline telephone with buttons is a touch tone. And when a person is a terrible singer, they are said to be tone deaf.
