Since there's now a five-show limit per host, I've decided to proceed with my plans to host Card Sharks after all.
I will need two players for this, and it will play out like the original series hosted by the late Jim Perry. Best 2 of 3, and the Money Cards round at the end. Who wants to join?

As Erin's Press Your Luck game has just ended, I'm now on deck, so let's get this show on the road!
(Card Sharks Intro)
ERIN HARRIS: Aces are high, deuces are low! Call it right, and win the dough...on Card Sharks! (Card Sharks Theme) And now, here's the host of Card Sharks, Bill Skinner!
Thank you very much, Erin Harris, and welcome to Card Sharks! We're pleased to bring this classic game show back, and I'd like to introduce you to our two players for the day, koopakid17 and pathfinder20! Now we can't proceed without some help on the side, so we recruited two familiar faces. I want you to give a warm welcome to our two dealers: from Let's Make a Deal, it's Tiffany Coyne, and from The Price is Right, it's Amber Lancaster! Now, Tiffany will deal koopakid17's cards, and Amber will do the same for pathfinder20! The objective of the game is to guess five cards correctly before your opponent does, and the first player to win two out of three rounds will then play the Money Cards bonus round. However, you can't play your cards without first answering a series of questions. Each of you will get four questions per round, and koopakid17, you will get the first question, since you signed up first. We asked 100 random people this question:
"Are you disappointed that the Chicago Cubs failed to win the 2015 World Series, as they did in Back to the Future Part II?"
How many of those people said yes?

I'm a Met fan and I don't share those sentiments for obvious reasons. However, I think some people would have wanted that, not just to make Back to the Future's prophecy come true but also because it's been more than 100 years. I'll say 60 of them said yes.

What a neat coincidence, I'm a Mets fan too! Anyway, you said 60 of those people said yes.
ding!
pathfinder20, do you believe that the actual number is higher or lower than 60?

I am going to say a wee bit lower.
Post by Bill Skinner on Dec 18, 2015 12:45:53 GMT -5
So pathfinder20 says lower.
ding!
The actual number of people who said yes was...
ding-ding-ding!
...97, so it's not lower, and koopakid17 gets the honor of playing the first card. Tiffany, show us the base card.
(4 ⋄)
It's a 4! Now you can change that card if you wish or play it right now. What would you like to do?

Post by koopakid17 on Dec 18, 2015 14:09:49 GMT -5
I'll keep it and go higher!

Post by Bill Skinner on Dec 18, 2015 14:32:38 GMT -5
Higher than a 4?
(A ⋄)
ding!
It's an ace! What's your call on that: freeze or play?

Lower!

Lower than an ace, Tiffany?
(4 ♥)
ding!
Yes, of course! What's your decision now?

Higher!

Post by Bill Skinner on Dec 18, 2015 15:32:45 GMT -5
Higher than a 4, Tiffany?
(J ⋄)
ding!
A Jack! And now you're one card away from sweeping the first round, but it's up to you. So what are you going to do: continue or freeze?
Post by koopakid17 on Dec 18, 2015 15:45:57 GMT -5
I gotta freeze!
Post by Bill Skinner on Dec 18, 2015 15:57:39 GMT -5
Alright, we'll freeze, and give pathfinder20 a fighting chance with this question. We asked 100 people the following:
"Are you tired of Christmas music being played on the radio before Thanksgiving?"
How many of those people said yes?
Post by pathfinder20 on Dec 18, 2015 16:21:00 GMT -5
To be honest, it seems like everything is Fast forward. They put up Christmas items before Halloween as well. I think a good amount of people are tired of the madness. I will say 70.
Post by Bill Skinner on Dec 18, 2015 16:25:47 GMT -5
So pathfinder20 says 70.
ding!
koopakid17, is the actual number higher or lower?
Post by koopakid17 on Dec 18, 2015 16:49:04 GMT -5
As much as I like Christmas music, a line has to be drawn somewhere. Playing it before Thanksgiving is just too much. It has to be even higher.
Post by Bill Skinner on Dec 19, 2015 12:05:58 GMT -5
And koopakid17 says it's higher.
ding!
The actual number of people who said yes was...
ding-ding-ding!
...83, so it is higher, and koopakid17, you will start with the Jack you froze at earlier. Do you want to change that, or play it now?
Post by koopakid17 on Dec 19, 2015 12:23:56 GMT -5
Change it!
Post by Bill Skinner on Dec 19, 2015 12:29:31 GMT -5
And we change that Jack to...
(7 ♣)
...a 7! You have to call on that one now; is it higher or lower?
Post by koopakid17 on Dec 19, 2015 12:43:54 GMT -5
Higher!
Post by Bill Skinner on Dec 19, 2015 12:53:33 GMT -5
If it's higher than a 7, you will sweep the first round. Is it?
(3 ♣)
buzz!
No, it's not, and pathfinder20 gets a break right now. Let's see his base card, Amber.
(5 ♥)
It's a 5, and you must play it right now. Do you believe that the next card is higher or lower?
Post by pathfinder20 on Dec 19, 2015 15:43:00 GMT -5
I say it's higher!
Post by Bill Skinner on Dec 19, 2015 16:24:05 GMT -5
Is it higher?
(K ♣)
ding!
Yes, it is! Continue or freeze?
Post by pathfinder20 on Dec 20, 2015 17:39:23 GMT -5
Lower!
Post by Bill Skinner on Dec 21, 2015 14:05:56 GMT -5
Lower than a king?
(5 ⋄)
ding!
So far, so good! Now what would you like to do? Continue or freeze?
Post by pathfinder20 on Dec 21, 2015 18:29:48 GMT -5
Higher!
Post by Bill Skinner on Dec 21, 2015 18:43:24 GMT -5
Higher than a 5?
(J ♣)
ding!
Yes, it is, and now there's only one card that stands between you and the end of the first round. If you get this last card right, you will complete the comeback and win the first round. However, if you're wrong, you will lose all the cards in your row, and we will go to a new question. So what would you like to do now?
