Time to begin Season 2 of High Rollers here on NGC. James Greek is the returning champion from the end of Season 1 with a two day total of $57,865 and so he is back for his third day. Now, I had promised Ian Sherman that he could play an episode of High Rollers so this match will be Ian Sherman against James Greek. If I can please have both James and Ian sign in, we will begin the match.

James is ready, but it seems that Ian is having problems trying to log in. So here's what will happen. I am going to give Ian another 24 hours to try and log in; in the meantime, I'll need a stand by contestant in the event that Ian is unable to sign in.

Looks like Ian is signed in and ready. Therefore Matt, I will not be needing you for this episode. All deadlines are 48 hours and away we go. (cue intro) Rich: And now, a game of high stakes! Where every decision is a gamble and every move could be your last. High Rollers! (1987 theme) And here's the man with all the action, Mark Liotta! (I come out on stage to a tremendous applause from the audience) Me: Thank you! Thank you, Rich. Thank you, audience. (Theme cuts) Welcome to our second year here on High Rollers. We had a successful first season last year, and I think we're going to have a successful season this year as well. We've spiced things up a little bit in our Big Numbers game this year, and you'll find out all about that later on in the show. But first, let's have our first two contestants of this second season. Rich: Player one is our returning champion James Greek. James has a two day total of $57,865 cash and prizes. And challenging James today is Ian Sherman. Me: We're delighted to have you here on our show today, Ian. Please tell the folks at home a little bit about yourself.

Hiya, Mark—it's a real pleasure to be here. I'm from Columbus, Ohio, and I'm a freelance digital media artist, with an main emphasis on audio, video and Web design. I also like to volunteer around my community, helping pitch in with special events, concerts and the like.

Seems to me that you like to stay active in your neighbourhood. Best of luck to you here on High Rollers as we begin our first match of season number two. The way we play the game of course is to try and eliminate as many numbers as you can from our nine number board. But you have to answer a toss up question first in order to gain control of the dice. First player to win two games will advance to the Big Numbers to try for $25,000 cash as well as a brand new car. Our first game of the match pays $1,000 to the winner, and we also have some nice prizes for the two of you to try and take home. Rich, tell them about those prizes please. Rich: In column number one, we have a trip to Jamaica! You'll fly round trip coach from Los Angeles to Montego Bay, Jamaica where you will enjoy a six night all-inclusive stay at the Riu Palace Jamaica. We've also included a luxury catamaran three hour snorkelling tour. This fabulous getaway is valued at $7,914. In column number two, we have a hot tub. This Beachcomber hot tub seats six and is valued at $9,775. And in column three, a pair of video cameras. The GoPro Hero 4s cameras include two floating handgrips and retail for $1,020. This makes the board worth a total of $18,709 in our first game. Me: Some nice goodies to start off our second year. Now let's see which one of them is most likely to be taken home.
4 2 8 5 7 6 9 3 1
And it looks like one of you could take home a hot tub should you knock out all three numbers in the middle column and then proceed to win this round. Here we go, first question coming up right now. What song did Barbra Streisand cover for her 1979 album Wet?

Good answer, but Splish Splash was Bobby Darin. The answer we were looking for here was Come Rain or Come Shine. Ian, you're up first to roll the dice so good luck.

(2,6) And you have an eight. How do you want to clear the eight, Ian?

3 and 5 come off the board.
4 2 8 X 7 6 9 X 1 And here is our next question. In the Sinnoh region of the Pokemon world, what is the name of the Fire type starting Pokemon? (Thanks for the link James, but our sources indicate that she only provided additional lyrics for Splish Splash)

Let's get that seven off the board.
4 2 8 X X 6 9 X 1
And let's proceed onward with the next question. What track has appeared in every main series Mario Kart game to date?

Bowser's Castle?

It would indeed be Rainbow Road, a course that I hate so much in that game. Anyway, all numbers are still safe so roll away Ian.

(5,5) (doubles sfx) Well Ian, that little sound means that you have rolled a double. And as you know, whenever a contestant rolls a double on High Rollers, they are entitled to an insurance marker. So here you are. (I hand him a marker) Anytime you roll a bad number, just pass that marker to me and you get another turn. Now, how do you want to get rid of the ten?

2 and 8 will come off the board.
4 X X X X 6 9 X 1
And that hot tub will be yours if you win this game, Ian. Here's our next question. In the 2015 film Ant Man, who plays Ant Man?

You are right and you have a decision here, James. The bad numbers right now are 3,8 and 12. Do you want to roll the dice yourself or do you want to pass them to Ian?
