Hi gang! Hope you are all well.
First, Tony has asked me to host an episode of Gambit A.M. while he is away. Although I would prefer to wait until I finish hosting my current Gambit P.M. episode, I may attempt to juggle both.
Keep in mind too that I'll be mostly unavailable between August 11th - 17th, possibly returning on the 17th to resume.
Second, I have decided to host a "pilot" episode of "Super Password".
Each episode will not necessarily be self-contained.
Some differences:
1. Puzzles are $250, $500, $750 and $1,000 now. First player to reach $1,000 or more in score wins the game and plays Alphabetics for $10,000. During the first and third puzzles, the celebrities will give clues and the civilians will try to guess the passwords and the puzzle answers. For the $500 and $1,000 puzzles, the civilians will give clues and the celebrities will try to guess the passwords and the puzzle answers.
2. First time champions always play for $10,000. Each subsequent trip to the bonus game will be either worth $10,000 (if previously won), or an additional $5,000 (if previously lost).
3. After five wins, players retire undefeated.
4. After the $500 puzzle, there will be a CA$HWORD worth $2,500 (+$500 each time not won). Celebrities always give the clues. They will be allowed to give 3 one word clues. Any illegal clue forfeits the CA$HWORD.
5. In the Alphabetics Round, the giver (celebrity) will be allowed to give a total of 20 clues, and the contestant allowed one guess per clue given. Any illegal clue will forfeit the top prize. If time runs out, the top prize also won't be won, however, there will be random dollar amounts assigned to each of the 10 words. When a word is won, that dollar amount will be revealed and won by the contestant.
