We will see how that gambit works out for you Raymond. Here's the next question... Gala and Cortland. Are these types of cherries, pears or apples? picosong.com/g3fZ/Raymond has the high roll yet again!

Apples, sorry Raymond.
Darion you score $100 and control of the next card. Do you wish to keep it and combine it with your Ace or pass it and hope it's an 8 or higher and put your opponent over 21?

Let's see if we have a tie match. Lily? Audience - "Whooaa!!" Well Darion, not the ten you were hoping for, but a 9, which gives you 10 or 20. You can call it 20 and freeze if you wish, or you may continue.

(applause) 20 is a very strong hand indeed. Raymond it's all on you now. You need to keep answering questions correctly and get 21 to win the game and the match. A tall order, but we'll see what happens. First question Raymond... COMPLETE THE TITLE OF THIS FAMOUS NOVEL... "THE POSTMAN ALWAYS RINGS..."

Is right! (applause) A 7 would get you a match win. Anything higher and the power marker will need to be used and you'll receive the next card. Lily? And we play on... GEORGE MICHAEL HAS ENJOYED A TERRIFIC SOLO CAREER. RAYMOND, FOR ANOTHER $100 AND ANOTHER CARD, TELL ME THE NAME OF THE GROUP FOR WHICH GEORGE MICHAEL WAS THE LEAD SINGER.

No it was Wham! And we have a tie match!!! picosong.com/3zeF/One of those rare times Darion that a win happens by default on an incorrect answer on a question. Darion you get $1,000 for your 20, plus the $1,300 telescope. You're now winning $2,900 and we have a tie match! Raymond, since you did not go over, we pay $25 per point for your 16, so another $400 in cash to you. Lily, please clear the board and we'll set up for the tie-breaker. (Lily clears the board, then discreetly checks the next two cards and gives an affirmative head nod) Lily has just confirmed that the next two cards on the top of her deck are different values. Darion, since you tied the match, you will now get to select. You can keep the first card or the second card. Whichever card you decline will go to your opponent Raymond. Lily will then reveal the cards one at a time. Each of you will be paid $100 multiplied by the value of the card howver the player with the higher card will win the match, another nice prize, and earn a trip to our Gambit Board to win lots more cash plus a crack at the Cadillac. Darion, do you want the first card or the second card?

The cards are dealt. Lily, reveal one of the cards please... Raymond, that second card that Darion gave to you is a 9. Darion, if your card is a 10, Jack, Queen, King or Ace, you will win the match, otherwise Raymond will. Lily, flip it please... It's a 5! Raymond Weaver has just won the match!!! picosong.com/3zeF/First, Darion, an excellent match. Had you kept the second card instead, it would have been a win for you. Another $500 however for that 5 of clubs, and you're taking home in cash and prizes, $3,400! A nice hand for Darion Daniel! (applause) Raymond, $900 more for the 9, brings you up to $3,250, however, for winning the match, you will win this terrific prize, Frank? picosong.com/9LQ9/Frank Caliendo (as Kenny Williams): This handsome gentlemen's watch… Frank Caliendo (as Kenny Williams): From Omega, the Speedmaster, comes in a stainless steel case and bracelet. Comes with a fixed ion-plated with tachymeter, black dial with luminous hands and stick hour markers. Frank Caliendo (as Kenny Williams): Retail value, $3,600! (applause) Raymond, that brings your match total up to $6,850 in winnings thus far... He'll take his first trip to the Gambit Board to try to beat the house for thousands of dollars more, right after this brief time out!

Here's Frank to tell you what's up there... picosong.com/fT3K/Frank Caliendo (as Kenny Williams): Tonight at the Gambit Board, in addition to doubling the Gambit Board Jackpot, Twenty-One in any combination will also win our Any 21 jackpot, now worth FIFTEEN THOUSAND DOLLARS! Frank Caliendo (as Kenny Williams): Plus an additional chance to win this… Frank Caliendo (as Kenny Williams): It's the 2016 Cadillac XTS Sedan… Frank Caliendo (as Kenny Williams): From its specious interior and abundant safety technologies to its smooth, polished driving experience and Cadillac CUE interface, the XTS ushers in new standards with every detail. Retail value… $50,000! Okay Bill! Thousands of dollars of money cards hidden up here on our Gambit Board, plus our four suit cards, a Take 2 card, three multiplier cards and a DOUBLE YOUR MONEY card as well. First things first however, Raymond, we're going to put you and Lily to work here... Lily has a brand new freshly shuffled deck of 52 playing cards. Lily, break the seal on those cards please. Raymond, please cut the cards at this time by selecting a number higher than 0 but lower than 52. I also will ask you at this time to predict what one of the cards will be in your hand by indicating the card value as well as the suit.

Thank you Raymond. We shall now record that... (ding) Raymond, if you get 21 in any combination, and the Jack of Diamonds is part of that combination, you will be playing for ONE MILLION DOLLARS!!! (wild cheers & applause) Oh I hope you do it! We'll stake the Gambit Board Jackpot to $2,500... (ding) If you do not go over 21 you will hang onto that jackpot money and will have perhaps a decision to make a little bit later on. Raymond select a number off of the Gambit Board at this time, and we'll add to that Gambit Board Jackpot.

Post by billmcdee on Aug 11, 2015 18:49:48 GMT -5
Born in February I see... Number 2... (ding) $250 times! We will multiply $250 by your next card Raymond. If it's a 10, Jack, Queen or King, that will mean $2,500, an Ace $2,750. Lily, please show us Raymond's first card... and we're hoping for a Jack of Diamonds! Well it is the SIX of Diamonds, 6 times $250 means another $1,500... You now have $4,000 in the Jackpot thus far. Now the House will be dealt its up card. This is the only card it will receive until or unless you freeze later on Raymond. Lily, we do NOT want the Jack of Diamonds now... (groaning in the audience) A 10, good up card darn it... Let us carry on though... Raymond, another number if you please.

my birthday day 11

Chicken Legs, number 11... (chuckles in the audience) my wife's birthday is the 11th also, but of May, but don't ask me to disclose what year! (ding) Another $500. (applause) and your next card... (gasps & some moans in the audience) Unfortunately by virtue of drawing that King of Diamonds, the $1,000,000 is out of play tonight. Now here's your dilemma Raymond. You have $4,500 and 16. If you freeze right now you will protect that. If you pick another number, you will have more money at risk. You do have 1 Power Marker which you earned from your Game 1 match victory, so if the next card puts you over, it will be discarded and you'll receive a new one right away. If you elect to freeze, you will then have another decision to make regarding the house. If you freeze and have money, you will then have the option to bet anywhere from half to as much as all of your Jackpot if you believe your hand can beat the house. So with all that to consider, Raymond, do you wish to freeze or continue? If you continue, please select another number from the Gambit Board.

Number 7... (ding) A $600 money card, and 20... (ding) A $500 suit card. So another $1,100 into the Gambit Board jackpot, now it's up to $5,600. If you draw a spade and don't go over 21, we'll add another $500 as well. Lily, a 5 would double the Jackpot plus win for Raymond another $15,000. What do you have? A THREE!!! Good card! 19 now, freeze or play on Raymond?
