www.televisiontunes.com/Headline_Chasers.htmlFrank Caliendo - You're Aces with everybody when you join us to play television's first card game... PAY CARDS!!! (applause) Frank - And now here he is, our very own trump card himself... Bill McDee! That's me! (applause) Thank you everyone for joining us as we launch the all new "Pay Cards". There is no audience game, no crockpots nor fire escape ladders to give away as prizes, just cash, and lots of it too! You know, I had an odd dream the other night knowing I was going to be hosting a new version of this very old and classic show, originally hosted by the late, great Art James. The dream I had was in 7 years from now I would be standing next to a gigantic pinball machine! Art went on 7 years after Pay Cards debuted to host "The Magnificent Marble Machine" which is no doubt why I had that dream. But now let's turn these two eager players' dreams into reality. One of them today could win as much as FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS in cold hard cash, playing our new, exciting and challenging end game, the Royal Flush round. More about that later. Right now we have two players to meet and greet. Darion Daniel, welcome to Pay Cards. Won't you please share with me and our viewing audience the Darion Daniel story?

Oh I see, an author. Is this sequel to a novel that you wrote, or is it for a novel written by someone else?

I see. I guess what I was wondering was, was the first book also written by you as well?

Well perhaps we'll find out more later on about your sequel Darion, and good luck on the show.
Matt hails from the Hawkeye state of Iowa. I am a very big fan of M*A*S*H and it was always amusing to me that Radar was from Iowa, while the character of Hawkeye was from Maine.
I understand you are involved in Special Olympics and have been gainfully employed for almost 10 years now as a supermarket courtesy clerk.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time Matt?

My one grandmother also enjoyed those very much.
Here you won't be seeking words, rather, cards.
Round 1, our first Strategy Round will begin with Darion, and we'll have that first round...
right after this!

(fade in to applause) Welcome back folks! Time to cruise into our game. The first three rounds of play will have a 16 card deck. The first two rounds of play will be Strategy rounds. Let's light up the board... bllllllllllllllling....... A reminder players, during the first three rounds of play, there are no straights and no flushes. Here is the payoffs for Round 1 and Round 2, both strategy rounds... For each pair you have in your hand, you'll score $50. Three of a Kind is $125. A Full House pays $250. Four of a Kind is the best possible hand during this round and is worth $500. Finally, the player who has the high hand will earn a $100 bonus. These payoffs are important because any money you score during our game is yours to keep no matter what, but it's more important because the player who has the most money at the end of our 3rd round of play becomes the champion, and gets to play our new end game Royal Flush and that could be worth as much as $50,000! (audience oohs & ahhs) To begin each strategy round, we will uncover three cards, and they are... The Jack of Diamonds behind #3, the 9 of clubs at #11 and the Ace of Clubs at #14. In this round, there are two possible fours of a kind, one 3 of a kind, two sets of pairs, and one single card up there somewhere, it may already be exposed, then again maybe not. Darion, since you signed up first, you get to go first here in Round 1. What you must do is select 2 more cards. Then 5 will be showing. Then of those 5 showing, you must keep two of them for yourself, then Matt will have his first turn. Which 2 numbers do you select Darion?

Let us see what 1 and 5 have for Darion... The 8 of Clubs and the 7 of Diamonds. No pairs up there even Darion, however you are required to keep two of those cards. Keep the two that you think might help you the most.

If we were playing my other game, Gambit PM, that Ace & Jack would have meant an instant win! Now we go over to Matt. Select 2 more cards Matt, then I'll ask for your decision.
