I am hoping later this week to have episode 14 ready to go.
I am making a slight change to the "Beat the Dealer" mini bonus game. The reason for this change is after 13 times playing it, there were 11 winners. And while I love winners, it's no fun when it becomes darn near automatic. I'm in the process of amending the game, basically copying off of another Wink Martindale game show "Tic Tac Dough".
Here's how "Beat the Dealer" will work. I did 30 or so mock versions of this during my stay in Hershey, PA and I won about 33.33% of the time.
The dealer's hand will always be locked in at 17. In order for the player to win, they must reach a score of 18 or more, without going over 21 to win. If they go over 21, they win nothing. The way the board will be set up, going over 21 is a possibility.
Nine numbers, in a 3 by 3 row, probably use the Gambit Board for this game, not sure yet.
As always, the Beat the Dealer jackpot will start at $2,500 and grow by $500 per show until won.
Hidden behind 1 number is the jester. If you pick that, the game ends and you win nothing.
Hidden behind 2 numbers will be the 2 Gambit logo cards, namely the Jack of Hearts and Ace of Spades. These will work similiar to how "TIC" and "TAC" worked on Tic Tac Dough. If you uncover these 2 cards before uncovering the Joker, that will be an instant 21 and an instant Beat the Dealer win. These cards may not be combined with any other cards.
The other six cards will say "2", "3", "4", "5", "6" and "7". If you score 18 - 21 using any combination of these six cards, you will also win Beat the Dealer. If your next pick might put you over 21, you will be given the option to freeze and win $1,000 guaranteed. That option will only be offered if your next pick might put you over 21.
I still need to get some prizes and prize copy for this next episode. As I had a mini-vacation and am still exhausted from it, I don't know if I'll be able to work on this today or not.
Also now at the "Gambit Board", there will be no more options to bail out or surrender. Once a player freezes, they must either beat the house's hand to win, or the house has to bust. If it ends in a tie, the contestant will win half of the Gambit Board Jackpot.
All other things will remain the same, including the $1,000,000 prize available.
Once everything is set, I will make an announcement in the Net Games section.
Thank you all,
Bill
