Greetings and thanks for your patience. We're ready to proceed with The $40,000 Chain Reaction. \ Marc Enyedy returns with three wins and $128,750. \ Think you have what it takes to defeat him? As long as you haven't lost a game of Chain Reaction to Marc, you're eligible to play. ...now on to qualifying. The player closest to the right answer, high or low, opposes Marc. And here's your question. Uncle Yo includes an icosahedron in his comedy act at anime and other conventions throughout the U.S. Here's Uncle Yo pictured with a green icosahedron -- a polyhedron with 20 numbered sides; each side has a different number from 1 to 20 inclusive. So before this show, I rolled five icosahedrons. What was my total in the roll? Considering the mathematics, please make sure your answer is higher than 4 and lower than 101.This game operates on 24 hour deadlines. Please PM me your answer in 24 hours from now.

Thanks to all for waiting after a speed bump. Let's get right to the result of my roll. I got a 15, 3, 13, 20 and 7. That adds up to 58 in any man's language. Who's the closest? 56 koopakid17All right, Kevin was the closest -- however he just played Marc on the last show. I know -- it seems like ages since the last show. But let's spread the wealth and give the next closest a chance to play. 62 gamecrazyhAnd Hunter Dillon will face Marc -- after we pause for a cause.
(drum roll)This is our current Chain Reaction champion, Marc Enyedy. He's won three games and a total of $128,750. If he continues his winnings ways, he'll retire undefeated and could double his winnings. Find out what happens -- next.(theme plays; audience applause)The game is -- The $40,000 Chain Reaction -- where one word leads to another -- and the right word could lead to a big payoff.Hellooooo -- everybody and welcome to the hump day version of The $40,000 Chain Reaction. As we've already noted, our champion, Marc, knows a thing or two about big cash prizes. We have a challenger ready to oppose. As we welcome back Marc Enyedy, we welcome aboard Hunter Dillon. (audience cheers)Hunter, you're the newcomer. Please tell us about yourself.

Well, I'm 20 years old, I live in Liberty, WV, I'm a huge fan of game shows, and one day I hope to become the next Bob Barker, Peter Tomarken or Jim Perry. In my spare time, I practice my hosting abilities by hosting Press Your Luck and Family Feud game nights.

Ahhh -- sounds like fun. Party at Hunter's house after the show. (scattered laughter from the crowd) No matter what happens here, we hope you'll play Chain Reaction at your next game night -- since you'll be taking home the box game -- which we'll talk about later. Marc, you definitely know how to play this game -- winning a shade under 129 grand. If you win this, your fourth, game, you'll play for up to $40,000. Should Marc win the *next* game, his fifth, he'll retire undefeated, win an instant $40,000 -- and then play the money chain one more time for another $40,000. (audience cheers) (board opens as part of the theme plays)But Hunter over here wants to start his run at a possible quarter million. Let's start this game of Chain Reaction with this first round chain -- which starts with... (ding)...WAX and it ends with SHUFFLE. Five links are in between. Each link in this chain is worth $250. The player who completes the chain scores an additional $250. The first player to reach $5000 wins the game -- and then has a chance to convert pennies into as much as $40,000. (audience cheers)Hunter, you're the challenger. You may give away the first letter below WAX or above SHUFFLE for Marc to guess -- or take a letter for you to guess.
