I downloaded Sale of The Century off of Corey B's box site and I can't seem to get it to work properly.
I start the game, there are no directions on how to buzz in and once I buzz in with player 1 with the A key it flashes an error message that says "Unhandled exception has occurred in your application" and then below it, it says "Index was otuside the bounds of the array".
Anyone know how to fix it as this would be the last game show needed for my PC to complete the late 80s NBC Daytime Game Show roster? (Haha!)

I want to bump this as a tribute to Jim Perry, I am itching to play Sale of the Century and I would to see if anyone knows how to get it to work properly on Windows 10. This is the only NBC game show left that I need of all of the downloads.
Thanks!

I will tell you this. I had problems with the old ones here at Windows 10. I am not sure that it will work here. Sorry.

Well, I do know that Corey B's Sale of the Century game was developed using what I believe is Visual Basic NET. I wouldn't rule that it is not compatible with Windows 10. I had issues with it (may not be the same issues) even in Windowb 7 (which I still use to this day). There are bugs with Corey B's SOTC game, no matter what version of Windows is used. Thankfully, i am in the process of developing a SOTC game, which uses VB6. Hopefully my creation will work pretty well in Windows 10.
Jerseyfla, do you have the same kind of issues with other Corey B.-developed games (Jeopardy!, Hollywood Squares, etc.)?
I never did have issues with Corey's SOTC game with regards to buzzing in, and I believe, in order for Player 1 to buzz in, you may have to press Q. Player 3 may require pressing P. I am uncertain if Player 2 would have to use B or T.
The only gripe I have about Corey's SOTC is that it only involves the Shopping end gane, no Winner's Board (even though images for the Winner's Board are included in the package), and there definitely is no Winner's Big Money Game. Fortunately, my game in development will encompass all eras of the daytime version, plus will have game files showing the evolution of the daytime series.

I didn't download his Jeopardy but I have downloaded his Hollywood Squares and Now You See It (I think that was him too) and I have no problems ith those. Once I get to the second or third question it comes up with an error message and then the game stops.
Cool! I can't wait to see the end result of your game! Sale of The Century is a must for my collection!

i think it is safe to assume that if Hollywood Squares and Now You See It (which were both indeed Corey B. creations) works on Windows 10 no problem, we can rule out the possibility of Corey's SOTC game being incompatible with Windows 10. I do happen to have Corey B.'s SOTC game, and there were apparently missing files in my folder. A majorly big dialog box appeared the moment I started the game. I am leaning towards a certain version of NET Framework being required in order to play any of Corey B's creations.
