I recently took a day trip to a casino on the Mississippi coast and saw "Hollywood's Hottest Game Shows", hosted by Bob Eubanks. Yes, *that* Bob Eubanks. It was a combination of luck-based games (the sort you *might* find on LMaD or a lottery game show; this was held at a casino, after all) plus clips from classic shows -- including, as you'd expect, "Newlywed". Bob even played a clip of his encounter with Mt. Fiji, a female wrestler, on "Card Sharks". Speaking of, Bob noted one of the dealers from his era as host, Lacey Pemberton, went on to cast singles on "The Bachelor". After the show, he signed photos -- and I brought my copy of "It's In The Book, Bob", an entertaining read that should've been in your bookcase right now if you consider yourself a game show fan. As he signed photos and my book, I asked about the other dealer, Suzanna Williams, and what she was up to. "She's living in Texas," Bob said. Word from Joe Van Ginkel on Facebook is that Suzanna's episodes as a contestant on "Super Password" recently aired on the new Buzzr network. There's much more to show and tell you about. Best to share in my blogs. I'm making this a daily series of posts (or at least planning to) at www.traxproductions.tumblr.com; to be notified of a new post, I'll tweet a link from @dougmorrisgames on Twitter.
