After focusing on 2004 for an entire summer, we can now start the third season of the hypothetical daytime run of Richard Karn. We have no changes to report here, so the show will play out the same as last time.
With $35,000 won over the last four games, will the Ringgenbergs retire as an undefeated champion, or will an opponent finally beat them? Either way, their run will end, so stay tuned for the answer.

If no one else volunteers, may I do double dip please? Sure, go for it. And because of the ongoing recovery from Hurricane Helene, I will not start this show until you're able to play, so give me a heads-up when you're ready to go.

Now that the worst is over, let's get down to it! (1999 FF Theme) ERIN HARRIS: It's time to play Family Feud!
Our returning champs, the Ringgenberg family...
...playing against the Simmons family! Now here's the star of our show, the nicest guy in the world, Mr. Bill Skinner!Thank you very much, Ms. Erin Harris! Welcome to Family Feud, and this time, we're going to play in 2005. Here with us for one last go-around is our four-time defending champs, the Ringgenbergs, who will try to add to their $35,000 in total winnings over those four games. And I see we have a newcomer to this show, say hello to our challengers today, the Simmons! Matt and Kyle, are you ready to go? Well, let's play the Feud! (1999 FF Face-Off Cue) As you know, the first family to 300 points will go on to play Fast Money for a shot at $10,000, so the Ringgenbergs may walk out of here with $45,000 before their run is over! But let's not jinx them right now, instead, I'm going to ask each of you this question, to which we asked 100 people, and the top eight answers are on the board. Try to find the most popular answer, if you will. Name something associated with the city of Chicago.

So the champs will play, Kyle. And now it's on to you, Michael. Can you name something else associated with the city of Chicago?

I've had some of their deep-dish pizza, but the truth is, I think New York pizza is the best... (mixed cheers and boos from audience) Hey, don't get me wrong, I love other cities' pizzas, but as a New Yorker, I have to stick with the one I grew up with. Show me some of that Chicago-style pizza! clang! It's up there! Matt, we come back to you. What else do you think would be up there?

The team Michael Jordan made famous, and I remember getting mad whenever they beat my Knicks, which was almost every time too. Show me the Chicago Bulls! clang!Four down, four to go. Michael, it's back to you again.

That's a great answer too, and I know for a fact that it has to be up there. Show me the Windy City! clang!Up there at Number 2! What else do you think is on the board, George?

White Sox, the other baseball team.

I think that would make since to have that other baseball team on there. Show me the White Sox! (strike buzzer) Well, finally you get your first strike, and I can't believe they didn't make it, probably because the Cubs always overshadow them. Once you get three strikes, the Simmons will try to steal. Matt, let's see if you can get your team back on the board.

I think that's a great answer, especially with the Stanley Cup run that would follow a few years from now. Show me the Blackhawks! clang!Six down, two to go. And once again, it's Michael's turn to answer. What are you thinking this time?
