I thought long and hard about this. I have indeed went through a stressful year not only trying to get right with the Lord, but processing some changes for my upcoming divorce. I still love hosting but yet I’m too tired to deal with it. I like to do other things including catching up on things too but yet I don’t want to quit. Quitting was indeed one of my choices, but yet I can’t bring myself to do it. I’ve done this for eight years and I would love to continue for another eight. What I’ve decided to do is take a year end hiatus from hosting until the first of the year and finish up TMD and CC with a late season finale. It would be what they used to call “postponed from an earlier date” in TV Guide.
Most importantly thank you all for your patience and support. Once I finish an episode, it will not resume until the first of the new year. I’m looking to finance a new laptop through a system at the hospital that allows payments out of my paycheck which could really help. My current one appears to be on its last leg where I can’t keep it unplugged enough to where it shuts off. Now my screen flickers when I move it which has become a dealbreaker.
I will still continue as a contestant or celebrity in other programs. Once I get my new laptop I hope to find other methods besides Paint and may have to download some fonts over again, but with the hiatus maybe it won’t be as stressful. Not only that, hopefully I’ll have improved graphics also.
I thank all of my fans for sticking with me and I do hope to return to hosting the first week of 2025.
Thank you and God bless you all!

Sounds like a very sound plan Bryan!
I remember my favorite aunt reminding me during the most difficult times of my life that what ever does not kill us can only serve to make us stronger.
Thanks for the update and keep the faith brother!
Best,
Bill

As someone who took a hiatus of my own, I fully support your decision. We all need time to relax and recharge.
