Frank Caliendo (as Don Pardo) George Cluster… Chris Chambers… and Bryan Law… If your first three Bonus Bucks picks all match. If your first three Bonus Bucks picks all match. you could win up to twenty-five thousand dollars in cash! From Rockefeller Center From the Bill Cullen Theatre, the NBC Television Network is proud to present... Bill McDee's - Three On A Match! with your host… Bill McDee! That's me! I thank you Frank Caliendo, and I thank you one and all back to the night time version of Three on a Match, seen here in the early evening hours every Monday through Friday right here on the National Broadcasting Company network. On our last show one of our players made several trips to the matching board but for the most part, did not come away with much, only one match thus far and only one match among all three of our players thus far in this current game. To help remedy that some, starting now, whenever one of our players earns the right to go to the matching board, they will be staked to 200 points automatically plus at times, a One Free Box bonus if and when that turns up on our category board... Meantime I'd like to welcome back our three players who were in the middle of this present game. First, our returning champion who has played the Bonus Bucks end game once. You can play it a maximum of five times before we retire you. His name is George Cluster and to date has won $13,675. Welcome back George. Our next contestant has not made it to the matching board at all yet in this game, we'll see if we can remedy that, it's Chris Chambers. And leading in this current game with 1 match, going for a goal of 3, with $400 thus far to his credit, welcome back please Bryan Law! (applause) Now then, let's get right into our game. There are three categories concealed behind these three numbered slides right over yonder. One of the categories will always be POT LUCK. Also, one of the categories will also have a bonus card with it, and that bonus card is ONE FREE BOX. The player who scores the most money with these questions will then get to play at the matching board to try to win even more money. Each category has five questions, the first player to ring in gets to answer, a correct answer will score the dollar value of the question, an incorrect answer or a missed deadline means the next player to ring in will have a chance to score those dollars. The dollar values for each question range from $50, to $75, $100, $125 and finally $150. We will always play all five questions regardless, and again the player who has the most money will play our matching board. All players keep any and all money won from questions. Lastly, if two players are tied for the lead after the fifth question, the low scoring player will get to decide which of the other two will get to go to the matching board, so some strategy may ensue. Bryan, you went to the matching board last, so you get to select a number, 1, 2 or 3.

Right for $50 Chris. Here now is the $75 question in DANCE. This dance was all the rage back around 1960 and is most closely associated with Chubby Checker. What was this dance craze called? (ding) George is in first. For some reason NetGameCentral is not loading my pictures.

Loved by one and all pretzel manufacturers, it is the Twist indeed George. Good for $75. Now a $100 Dance question. Which dance, associated with the question "How low can you go?", involves bending backwards and trying to move one's body below a pole? (ding) And Chris is heard from again. Chris you have until 10:25am EST on Sunday, August 4th to post your answer please.

Bummer, the answer we were looking for was ballet. One more question worth $150, if either George or Chris ring in first and answer it, they will go to the matching board, if Bryan rings in first and solves it, he and Chris will be tied and George will decide who gets to go to the matching board. $150 DANCE question... What dance involves terms such as Do Si Do and Promenade? (ding) Bryan you're in first again and have until 9:40pm EST on Sunday, August 4th to post your answer.

Post by billmcdee on Aug 2, 2024 22:46:11 GMT -5
No, so sorry about that Bryan, the answer was SQUARE Dancing... No money for that either... So Chris finally gets his first crack at the matching board! Chris, remember one of the cards is a NO MATCH card so that will just cost you points, another card up there is marked as DOUBLE DOLLARS, if you reveal that, you'll lose points but if you achieve Three on a Match before you run out of points, you will win double the dollar value attached to your winning selection. Also the Jackpot card is attached to one of the winning boxes and if you reveal that, you'll win $800. The Jackpot starts at $750 and each time Three on a Match is made and the Jackpot card is NOT hit, we add another $50 to that Jackpot until it is won. You also can win the $800 if your first three picks match. Chris, please select a column and a color and we'll proceed as you try to get your first match of three in this game.

Well these are movie MONSTERS so none of them are good (chuckling) 40 on the Green As it turns out that was a good pick after all, you have two Draculas and 70 points left to spend, couple of chances perhaps at finding that third Dracula Chris. How are you going to play it?

Is Dracula back there? No however you did uncover the DOUBLE DOLLARS bonus card Chris which means if you find Dracula on this, your last pick, whatever dollar amount is attached to him will be doubled for you. We KNOW he's in the 30 point column as the NO MATCH card is already revealed and you have 2 Draculas up there, so a 50/50 chance at it Chris. We know you'll be selecting from the 30 point column, question is do you take GREEN or BLUE?

And 40 on the Blue has... (groans) a GREEN Frankenstein. Well Chris, you should have taken my favorite color of green on that one. So we'll reshuffle those monsters up on that game board. Score remains Bryan with 1 match, George and Chris with none. We'll take a quick time out and play another question round, but first these words of interest.
