Good morning! It's high time we launch 5 Number Win back to NGC, this time on ABC Daytime.
I've made a couple of tweaks from the test run I did, hopefully this goes well enough to have a smooth opening day.
Quick run of the rules for those who didn't watch/participate in the test run: 2 players try to match numbers to a lottery card to win cash and prizes of more than $10,000.
Hoping to start tomorrow, all I need is 3 individuals. The first 2 who sign up will play against each other in game 1, and the third player plays the LOSER of game 1. Who wants in?

Burton Richardson: If you were to get a tic tac toe horizontally… Vertically… Or Diagonally… You can win cash and prizes worth more than $10,000! It’s time for 5 Number Win! (theme, cheers) With the star of 5 Number Win, Immanuel Tims! (more cheers as I walk onstage) Hello one and all! Welcome to the start of something brand spanking new! We have 2 players here who are so ready, so willing to win cash and prizes of more than $10,000...and all they have to do is win tic tac toe and call out 5 numbers, as if this was a regular lottery game...without...the tic tac toe. *scattered laughter* Here are 2 players today that are hoping to get a piece of the pie! We have a George...and we have a Nels competing right now. George, let's start with you. Who are you and what do you do?

I sing mainly 80s. I love all 80s music except The Future So Bright, I Gotta Wear Shades song. It gets on my nerves.

Never heard of a song getting on someone's nerves. Now we know what song to play during commercial!
*more laughter*
Bless you in this game today, here's to you winning against your opponent, Nels Snesrud! Tell us your story, Nels.

Ok, we're all set. Let's start our first ever match. Players, the two of you right now, can win $7,500 in cash, and a prize that Mr. Richardson will now describe! *prize cue* Burton: A new home coffee machine! This is the full-service coffee machine that brews elegant barista-quality beverages in your own kitchen. Made by Jura, an 88-year-old Swiss company renowned for meticulously designed espresso makers, this machine makes 15 different coffee creations instantly, at the press of a touchscreen. It’s a prize worth $3,414! *cheers* That prize goes to the person who wins this first game. Here's how you play: The object of 5 Number Win is to match your lottery numbers to that of the house, the house is me. You'll call 5 numbers and win $1,000 for each number you match. If you call a number and it lines up sequentially as we have it on our lottery numbers, you win a bonus $500. Example, if the first digit of your numbers called is a 2, and our first digit is 2, it's a $500 bonus, meaning up to $7,500 can be won if you match it perfectly. PLUS! If you so happen to call the right numbers, no matter the order their in, and match them to our numbers, that's a 5 Number Win and you'll win our jackpot, which today stands at $2,500! *cheers* To win your numbers, you have to win a game of Tic Tac Toe against each other. George, you'll play as X and Nels you're O. The player in control picks a square, to which a number is shown, and I'll give you a pair of dice. You must decide if you'll roll higher or lower than the number shown. That's how you get the square around here. We'll keep going until we get a tic-tac-toe, to which the winning player wins that lovely coffee machine and plays the Numbers game. As an extra bonus, as if we didn't have enough, if you capture all 4 corners and the center square, you win the prize and an extra $5,000! Hope that makes sense to you all. George, you're in the X position and X always starts. Start by picking a square and we'll go from there! Hey, that rhymed! *laughter*

Right in the middle we find... A bloody snowman. To win the square George you must decide if you'll roll higher or lower than an 8. *audience shouts suggestions*

Lower.

Lower means you capture the first square of the game! Roll these dice and let's hope for the best! *audience cheers as...George rolls* *more cheers* And you get the 6! That's definitely lower! *dong* Good job George. Nels, let's get you a circle up there. Pick a square for me please!

In the top middle square we find... A 6...almost in the middle on the scale of possible numbers here. Nels, for the square, do you think you'll roll higher or lower than 6? *audience shouts suggestions*

Higher

|
Post by babytims on Jul 16, 2024 19:38:15 GMT -5
7 or higher keeps you alive! Go ahead and roll! *audience cheers as...Nels rolls* Aha...a tied roll! Since you didn't roll higher than a 6, we can't give you the square, and since you didn't roll lower, we can't put up the opposition...only fair if you roll again! *audience cheers as...Nels rolls* *more cheers* There we go! An 8. That puts up a circle: *ding* And now you each have a square. George, your turn again. Pick a square if you would please.

Bottom right square has a number. That number is... A 5. Almost middle, still low number. George, for another X please tell me...are you going to roll higher or lower than 5? *audience shouts suggestions*

Higher.

|
Post by babytims on Jul 17, 2024 14:09:32 GMT -5
Anything higher than a 5 means you take that square! You'd also be a step closer to victory. Roll 'em! *audience cheers as...George rolls* *more cheers* A 7! Let's put an X on the board! *ding* And there it is! One more square and you're our first winner of our first ever game. Nels, you know what you must do. What square would you like good sir?
