You're using your Reveal or Conceal More card. Alright then--in a few seconds you and only you will be able to see what's behind two random board panels. They'll be marked "A" and "B," and you'll tell me out loud whether you want to reveal A, B, Both, or Neither.
Hang on as we send that information to you...
(0:00-0:08) GEORGE

| SHEDERICK |
---|
| REVEAL/CONCEAL?
| $2,000 | 5
| $4,750 | 5
|
And now, seeing those numbers, tell me what you want to reveal, if anything at all.

I'll reveal panel A

A it is. Which is one is A and what's behind it? Ooh, the Curse, under number nine. That would have blinded you to your hand and shuffled it. We'll cover that up now. Unless the board is shuffled, you know where that is.
Shederick, it's still your turn--you can play another card or go to the board. If you do decide to Pass, you do not have to pick any of the numbers you were given in secret.
(Audience yells suggestions--again, the consensus is to "Play.")

Okay, but tell them what you really want. (some of the audience laughs softly.) He's been asking for it for awhile--does he finally get it?
No Barking Kitten, but he still got the jackpot! (audience cheers) That's the $2,500 from the Ca$h Collection, and since you found it the second time, that money now goes into your bank, Shederick! (more cheers)
GEORGE | >
| SHEDERICK |

| BARK?
| $2,000 | 5
| $7,250 | 5

So at this moment, you stand to win more that seven G's if you survive this round.
Back to George. Well, Shederick took all the money, but if you find the other Barking Kitten on the board, you can steal a thousand dollars for your own bank. Right now, you're looking at the last six panels on the board. Would you like to Play or Pass? bighornbattle

When you use the Attack card, you force your opponent to take an additional turn.
GEORGE | >
| SHEDERICK |

| 2X BARK?
| $2,000 | 4 | $7,250 | 5

So, Shederick, being Attacked means you must pick two panels when you go to the board. But remember that you can play a Reverse or Skip card to lower your turn count. Also, if you play another Attack card, you can bypass going to the board and force George to take another pick off the board.
Knowing all that, would you like to Play or Pass? ~

Looking for something good under four. What's there? A Steal! (cheers and applause)
The final Steal of this game. There's no one else to steal from, so you'll get a random card from George...

George, you're down to three cards in your hand and five panels to choose from. Will you Play or Pass?

Hoping to not find the one lone Exploding Kitten. Let's look under three...
...And there's the other Barking Kitten. (audience cheers and applause) Since you found the second Barking Kitten, you get to steal that thousand dollars we gave to Shederick earlier...
GEORGE | |
| SHEDERICK |
---|
BARK!
| BARK?
| $3,000 | 3
| $6,750 | 5
|
And that puts your bank at $3,000.
Shederick, you still have $6,750 to play for, and it's your tu--
(Audience ooohs) Uh-oh....I don't like that sound. Because that's the sound that signifies the Imploding Kitten, and it will change with how we proceed with the rest of our game. We've replaced the last Exploding Kitten under these panels with an Imploding Kitten--if you unveil it the first time, you will not be penalized. However, that does mean we reset the Imploding Kitten back on the board, then we'll shuffle all the panels.
You do not want to see the Imploding Kitten again on your turn because if you do, you will instantly implode and leave the game, which would make your opponent the winner. (audience ooohs again.) Defuse cards are ineffective against an Imploding Kitten, so play very wisely from this point on.
GEORGE | |
| SHEDERICK |

| $3,000 | 3
| $6,750 | 5

You know the situation now, Shederick. Let's see if your strategy has changed. The whole top row is gone now. Play or Pass?

Let's play that Attack card for you.
GEORGE | |

| $3,000 | 3
| $6,750 | 4

That means you have to pick two panels now, George. The good news is that at least one of those panels can be useful to you right now. Remember that if you have a Skip or Reverse, you can reduce your turns, and if you have an Attack card, you can force those extra picks back on Shederick.
Play or Pass?
(audience is now more inclined to see you "Play," though some still say "Pass" in hopes of seeing you get something good.) ~

Post by GSLurker on Aug 3, 2024 21:31:54 GMT -5
He's taking his chances and going to five first. Did he make the right move or the wrong move?
There's the Big Ask--it might be the right move for him. (slight cheers in audience while clapping)
Now you get to call for a card that you think Shederick might have in his hand. If they do, you get it from him. Remember also if you call for a Super Nope, Super Skip, or Reveal or Conceal More and he has it, you'll get the card and bank $1,500. This could be a big break for you.
George, what card do you want from Shederick?

(Most of the audience laughs, though many awww.) That's a no for the Nope, sadly, George. So that Big Ask goes to waste--no cards get exchanged this time.
GEORGE

However, you still have one pick left. Three numbers to choose from--six, nine, and thirteen. Play or Pass?

The board has been shuffled for you, George. You got two cards left. What would you like to do now?

He's chosen nine. (audience applauds) So, lemme tell you what could happen, George--
You find the Imploding Kitten, and things get really dicey.
We also know there's a Curse! Panel up there. If you choose that one, you'd be blind to your hand and would have to pick something off the board that isn't a Kitten to take the curse off you.
The last Panel is something I haven't told you about yet, but if you find that one, we get to play a mini game where one of you could earn a potentially powerful card for your hand.
Let's see what you came up with...
(audience awws and groans) Oh no, that's the Curse! Might be a bad time for that to show up. I'll tell you what happens when your turn comes up.
GEORGE
| |
| SHEDERICK |
---|
CURSED!
|
| $3,000 | 2
| $6,750 | 4
|
As for you, Shederick--you're now in an interesting position. You have just two numbers to choose from--six and thirteen. The Imploding Kitten is up there, of course, as well as the chance to win that special card. Now we have an incentive for you here--if you pick from the board and find the last panel that isn't a Kitten, you and George would only be playing out of your hands, but you would bank a $2,000 bonus for finishing the board. (audience cheers and applauds)
So this is a huge decision for you. Shederick--Play or Pass?
(audience is split again between Playing or Passing.)
