Okay, all guesses have been entered. Here's what you picked...
[EARTHQUAKE][MATT]
Matt guessed that they were killed by Earthquake...
[GREG'S LIE][MATT]
But that happened to be Greg's lie. Because his was generated by me, he gets half the points or 500.
[U-BOAT][JAMES]
James locked in with U-Boat...
[MATT'S LIE][JAMES]
Which was Matt's lie. He gets the full 1,000 for creating it on his own.
[AVALANCHE][GREG]
Can Greg make it 3 for 4 with finding the truth?
[THE TRUTH][GREG]
He does! 10,000 men were buried on December 13, 1916 when they fired their cannons from the Alps. No one believed James' lie of Biplanes, though he also went with the "Lie for me" option.
[GREG][5,500] [MATT][1,500] [JAMES][500]
James in third place, you have the next choice. What will it be?

Okay, we're going spelunking with this question:
"If you're ever in Virginia's Luray Caverns, be sure to check out their _____ made of stalactites."
Enter your lies now.

All lies have been entered. See if you can find the truth...

(Reposting due to sudden disappearance of posts)
"If you're ever in Virginia's Luray Caverns, be sure to check out their _____ made of stalactites."
[PASSAGEWAYS] [ORGAN] [HOUSES] [STATUES]
(Apparently, the PM's were affected, too. I have received James' and Matt's answers. Greg, please resend yours if haven't done so.)

(Sorry for the delay, out all day)
Okay, all three answers are in...
[ORGAN][MATT][JAMES][GREG]
All three of you locked in with Organ. It happens to be...
[THE TRUTH][MATT][JAMES][GREG]
The Truth! Everybody gets 2,000 points for that. The Great Stalacpipe Organ was constructed in the 1950s out of 37 stalactites fitted with rubber mallets.
Of course, nobody fell for the lies: Matt's was Passageways, Greg's was Houses and James' was Statues.
[GREG][7,500] [MATT][3,500] [JAMES][2,500]
Greg still has a commanding lead as he picks the next category. How about it?

Mm-hmm, here is our last question of this second round...
"The first motion picture to be copyrighted in 1894 showed a man _____ing."
Enter your lies now.
(James gets extra time since he's away for now.)

Okay, here's what you guys came up with. See if you can spot the truth among the sea of lies...
"The first motion picture to be copyrighted in 1894 showed a man _____ing."
[SNEEZING] [FARTING] [SLEEPING] [WALKING]
*audience laughter*
...I'm not going to comment until everybody's answered.

(Since Matt's back, we'll continue)
Okay, everybody's in.
[WALKING][GREG]
Greg locked in with Walking...
[MATT'S LIE][GREG]
That turned out to be Matt's lie. 1,000 points for him.
[SNEEZING][MATT][JAMES]
Matt and James thought the man in that film was sneezing...
[THE TRUTH][MATT][JAMES]
And that's the truth! The man was Fred Ott, one of Thomas Edison's assistants who induced the sneeze by inhaling snuff. Now, that was nothing to sneeze it. No one fell for Greg's lie which was sleeping and James was the one who said farting. Too bad Beavis and Butthead came some 100 years later.
[GREG][7,500] [MATT][6,500] [JAMES][4,500]
And just like that, we have a horse race. 3,000 separating first from third as we enter...
THE FINAL FIBBAGE
For this final question, you get 1,500 for everyone you fool and 3,000 for finding the truth. It's still anybody's game. Gentlemen, here is your Final Fibbage oddity...
"Philosopher Thomas Hobbes' worst fear."
Enter your lies now.

All lies have been entered. Here are your choices...
"Philosopher Thomas Hobbes' worst fear."
[THE DARK] [THE MGM LION] [FAILURE] [ROCKETS]
All interesting fears, I have to admit.

Okay, we're ready. Let's see what you guys answered...
[FAILURE][JAMES]
James locked in on Failure...
[GREG'S LIE][JAMES]
...which was Greg's lie so he gets the points.
[THE MGM LION][MATT]
Matt thought Hobbes was scared of the MGM Lion...
[JAMES' LIE][MATT]
No, you fell for James' bluff. This brings us to Greg who picked...
[THE DARK][GREG]
The dark. If that's the truth, 3,000 points coming your way...
[THE TRUTH][GREG]
And it is! Thomas Hobbes was so afraid of the dark that he never slept without a lighted lamp. This means nobody picked Matt's lie of Rockets.
Here are the final scores: In third place...
[JAMES][6,000]
James with 6,000 points. You came close to beating our second place player:
[MATT][6,500]
Matt whose score of 6,500 didn't change after the Final Fibbage. And the winner with 12,000 is...
[GREG][12,000]
Congratulations, Greg! You have proven that you're the best at lying. Careful, you might not get invited to play Truth or Dare anymore.
*laughter*
That's all the time we have for Fibbage, this is Kevin Kolsen signing off!
*fade out*
(I'll open the floor for questions or comments, any are appreciated.)

I must say, the questions you have come up with for this game are quite excellent. Obscure, yet far from impossible to solve. Well done there. As far as the rest of the game is concerned, I assume that the maingame would be longer should you choose to continue hosting Fibbage beyond here? Otherwise the game would be rather short, at least from my perspective. And like James, I'm also a bit curious about what a Fibbage Bonus Round would look like. Other than that, great job.

It probably would be something along the lines of the Gauntlet of Villains from "Whew!", as far as I can figure.

The Final Fibbage actually is the Bonus Round. However, that's something I may consider for the winning contestant. Sort of a "pick the correct lie" for extras. I did a practice round in points because I plan on doing the real thing for dollars.
