Over the last few days, it has been brought to my attention that some people may or may not have cheated in the past as participants in various net games. Please be aware that I'm not trying to single any particular user out. I do know that more than one person has done it in the past.
Cheating can include anything from looking up answers (REPEATEDLY) online, a comprehensive price list or other things.
I know I can't tell you guys how to use the internet, and I realise that the prizes are fictional, but there are people here who are genuinely trying not to cheat, and by cheating, it's not really fair for them.
So, if you have any suspicions about users cheating REPEATEDLY, please feel free to come forward to myself or Leaf. If we find out that users have been cheating, consequences may be implemented, and that may include warnings, temporary bans, or permanent bans.
I want this place to be fun, but when people cheat, it ruins it for everyone.
Below is a list of resources that I personally think are not cheating. I believe that Wikipedia and other wikis are the #1 enemy of fair play on this site.
Have fun, and play fair.
Cheers
Cameron

Apologies, that is what meant by reporting a post. Either that or message myself or Leaf with your concerns.

If you can see it, my hat's off to you Darion!
This is one reason why I host such games as Gambit and Now You See It, and if time, circumstances and energy permits, a third game, which will be a word game. With word games, it's much more difficult to look up correct answers, and with games such as Gambit, Joker's Wild, Wheel of Fortune, High Rollers and Press Your Luck, just to name a few, a much higher element of luck comes into play.
All this being said, here's hoping we can soon permanently close this unfortunate chapter.
Best to you all, now and always...
Bill

This is why I specifically ask contestants to not look up answers when I do Jeopardy!, as a lot of trivia is involved with that game

Personally, I think it's more realistic if you don't use any resources aside from your own brain.

Thirded.
Just a question: When I know the answer in French language, is looking up just for translation "cheating"?

Just a question: When I know the answer in French language, is looking up just for translation "cheating"? If it's just for translation, then you should be okay.

When translating from one language to another, I'd also wholeheartedly agree, that's not cheating at all Cle'ment.
