DK: Indeed, it is, but you know what? It just goes to show that Pat is a very-well respected individual, and truly a one-of-a-kind, and I think it's safe for me to say that he, Pat Sajak himself, is the LAST of the greats of the 70's, 80's, and the 90's. Many legends like Dick Clark, Alex Trebek, Tom Kennedy, Wink Martindale, Jack Barry, Bill Cullen, Jim Perry, and even Pat Finn, just to name a few that have all come and gone during the Pat Sajak years of Wheel of Fortune, and I can tell you right now, that this ends the era of the greatest game show hosts of my generation in history, and that also includes the man who Pat Sajak succeeded on this show, Chuck Woolery. If it wasn't for Chuck ending at that particular time in 1980-81, we don't know if we would've had Pat Sajak at that time.
