I never would've thought that I would see the day that the legendary Pat Sajak would be retiring Wheel of Fortune after 41 years on June 7th. This is a LOT for me to take in.

Right. Here we go for a VERY special episode of Wheel of Fortune: Diamond Deluxe, and it's Episode 12, the Pat Sajak's Retirement Special! We've got a LOT of things happening here, and I'll tell you all about them as we go along. Now, a recap is in order...

Since that Wheel of Fortune is actually on the verge of having 8,000 episodes within the 41 years of nighttime syndication, we're going to start this special BetMGM Jackpot, or better known as the Big Jackpot of the Night, at $8,000, and it'll increase with every dollar amount spun on the Wheel, just like the regular Jackpot wedge, but there are a few differences.

First, there's one Double Jackpot wedge in this round, and there are 2 of them for Rounds 2 and 3. Hitting tokens on the Wheel will add $500 to it, Mystery Wedges adds $1000 or $3000, Express Wedge adds $1500, and the Big Money Wedge, whether it was claimed or not, adds $2000 into it, regardless of whether or how often the consonant is there in the puzzle.

Second, the Big Jackpot of the Night will be awarded to the Champion IF they not only win the Bonus Round, BUT ALSO picks the category that has the Super Bonus hidden attached to it.
